THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN WATCHTOWER BELIEVERS

This topic concerns Salvation. In Romans 3:22 we learn that God's righteousness is through faith in Jesus -for all who believe -- there is NO distinction. The Bible teaches that ALL who believe are without distinction -- they are children of God. Yet the Watchtower teaches another gospel -- a gospel of partiality. Only a few special persons are said to be God's children. The Watchtower's gospel excludes the great majority of true believers from God's promise of sonship. In fact, they say God will not be the Father of most believers until they attain actual perfection The Watchtower says only "by virtue of eventually becoming Jehovah's perfect son's, they address him prospectively as 'Our Father'. "(WATCHTOWER, August 15, 1945, p. 253)

Friends, the Watchtower gospel of partiality is not the same gospel found in-the Bible. The Bible says "God shows no partiality".( Galatians 2:6.) The first epistle of John is written to believers and says "Now we are the Children of God."( 1 John 3:2.) It also says in chapter 5, verses 11-13, "the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life."

The apostle John says that eternal life is the promise Jesus gave to us who believe. But Jehovah's Witnesses are told that believers DO NOT have assurance of eternal life. This is the game lie that false teachers tried to bring into the early church. But John, writing to the believers says this, "Let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life. These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you."(1 John 2:24-26).

Friends, don't let the Watchtower deceive you You can be assured of your salvation, and know that you have eternal life; if you will receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.Published by Witness Inc.
