What does and does not happen to you when you join the Jehovah Witnesses This is list of their own quotes which they believe is equal standing to scripture on subjects that concern anyone thinking of joining the Jehovah Witness organization. You can’t be born again " Members of the great crowd are not participants in the new covenant. However, they associate with the Israel of God and live with them in their "land." While not participants in the new covenant, they are beneficiaries of it.( Watchtower Feb. 1, 1998 p.24)…Jesus mediatorship operates solely toward those in the new covenant,"(Insight on the Scriptures p.362) This means he can’t be your mediator unless your one of the 144,000. " Only a limited number are born again. The great crowd does not need to be born again. Their life is earthly, not heavenly." (Watchtower 4/1/1988 p.4) Jesus said you must be born again to see the kingdom of heaven Jn.3.so what they are saying is there is no kingdom of heaven to come on earth .'What then is Christ's role in this program of salvation? Paul proceeds to say: 'There is one God, and one mediator between God and men (not, all men), a man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all.'- 1 Tim. 2:5, 6 (Watchtower 11/15/ 1979, p. 26 ) You cannot go to heaven, UNLESS you're one of the 144,000 individuals "Does the Bible show that some people will go to heaven? Yes, the Bible does teach that a limited number go to heaven for a special reason." (Watchtower 2/155/1984 p.4) To receive everlasting life in the earthly Paradise we must identify that organization and serve God as part of it. (Watchtower Feb.15, 1983 p.12) No heaven except for a few, this is two classes of people , the haves and have nots. Think about all the times you heard the hope of heaven and not having it for yourself and your loved ones. You must submit to The organization as if its God What can we say, is the basic principle underlying the movement of Jehovah's living organization? It can be expressed in one word; OBEDIENCE." (Watchtower 6/1/1967 p.338) Respond to the directions of the organization as you would the voice of God. ( Watchtower 6/15/1957, p. 370) Do not criticize the organization. If Jehovah permits it, who are we to insist it should be different? (Watchtower 5/1/1957, p. 284) think of how much control is exercised over someone who can't question what another teaches. You can't leave the organization without leaving God "If a JW joins another religion, an announcement is made to the congregation to stop associating with him." (WT 10/15/1986 p.31) If a child of someone is disfellowshipped from the Kingdom Hall, the parent is to refuse to listen to the child's reason. (Organization for Kingdom- Preaching and Disciple- Making 1972, p. 173.) Disfellowshipped children, legally of age will be kicked out of the home. (Watchtower, 11/15/52, p. 703) Those who leave are to be shunned If someone formerly was a Jehovah's Witness, "We must hate in the truest sense, which is to regard with extreme active aversion, to consider as loathsome, odious, filthy, to detest." ( Watchtower 10/1/52, p.599)"in order to hate what is bad a Christian must hate the person" (Watchtower 7/15/1961, p. 420)Think about someone you were friends with for years and now must not talk to them because they are not of the same religion. It may even be your children!

Many schools now have student counselors who encourage one to pursue higher education after high school, to pursue a career with a future in this system of things. Do not be influenced by them. Do not let them 'brainwash' you with the Devil's propaganda to get ahead, to make something of yourself in this world. This world has very little time left!... .Make pioneer service, the full-time ministry, .... ( Watchtower 1969 March 15 p. 171) This happened before it can happen again.Think of how many opportunities had been lost for the people in the past and for those in the future if this occurs again. No freedom of choice here. You must believe all that the Watchtower prints as if its from the bible itself "The bible is a sealed book except to the organization." Or a new book by the organization." (Watchtower 6/1/1967 p.338) Think about how you could not pursue your own spiritual learning Your children are not be allowed to play with non Jehovah Witness children Remember, you are to have "no association" with non-Jehovah's Witness friends or relatives. If they are honest and moral, that still does not make any difference. (Watchtower 2/15/60, pp. 112-113.) To play sports with children that are not Jehovah's Witnesses is definitely "unwholesome"! (School and Jehovah's Witnesses, 1983, p.23.) You are reminded that involvement in after-school sports tie you down, requiring you to spend evenings and weekends playing on a school team. You are expected to be at the lectures at the Kingdom Hall. "Any recreation you take outside of school should not be with worldly youths." (Watchtower 9/1/64, p.535.) Think of how your children will grow up if this is restricted. What would you be teaching them about others? You cannot celebrate any holidays or … You must not participate in Holiday Celebration of any kind, strictly forbidden for Jehovah's Witnesses. This prohibition applies to U.S. presidents' birthdays, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas, Easter, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Good Friday, and even Mother's Day and Father's Day! "Birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day and National Holidays are all condemned. (School and Jehovah's Witnesses, 1983, pp. 17-21.) You or your children may have to die for the organizations teaching 64-page booklet titled Preparing for Child Custody Cases Show that you are a loving and caring parent who wants the best medical care possible for your child. ...You do not want to give the impression that your religion requires you to allow your child to die should a medical emergency arise. (1 Sam. 14:31-35) Many of God's approved servants have been willing to face dangers and even death rather than violate Scriptural principles..." (Watchtower, June 15, 1978, p.24) Think of how precious your loved one or childs life is to you and God What your life will be like? What your life will be like?You're expected to go to as many meetings as possible and hold other meetings with people in their homes. You're expected to do field service each week to earn your eternal life. You cannot enjoy the normal things of life when your so busy. You cannot associate closely with non Jehovah Witnesses, even family. You cannot read the bible without their publications. Now that you know what its all about , any volunteers?
