Politics of life, or death? These topics and current trends are usually reserved for our newsletter, but with the adverse climate taking place in our country and throughout the world it is especially important at this time to understand what we are facing. For it is getting very dark In our world politics has more influence on our society than religion. That’s a fact most believers overlook or do not want to accept. Government[s] rule through politics. We should understand how politics affects the way we live life. However, our faith overrules any amoral judgment found in politics or culture. Most governmental systems are found to be are antithetical to both God and freedom, they may allow little of both. Our country was founded upon worshipping God and freedom, with both Judeo Christian principles, Politics does divide, but so does Jesus. One divides people with lies, the other (Jesus) divides people to choose - the truth. The influence of the spirit of the age has increased and is strongly making its presence known through politics. The world is run on politics and money, often they are inseparable. In fact politics has become a religion to some. The source of what is taking place is spiritual, and the lowest qualities of humanity are being seen as a spiritual deception is blinding people. The world is filling up with evil. How do we define evil? Do we recognize evil anymore? To know what is good one must have some ethical moral standard to measure it by. To really understand evil we need to know God’s standard and know what he identifies as evil so that we can choose what is good. That good is being erased, and replaced. Now evil is called good, and good called evil. Consider what John says 3 John 11 “Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God .” At the moment darkness is over portions of our nation. Far more severe than 911 there is confusion, anger and hatred. Has America reached her flashpoint? There should be no question that America is undergoing a change that is shaping our way of life. A revolution is occurring. It may not be comfortable to hear this and may come as a shock to many people but change is not coming, it is already here. What was under the surface has risen. This “shift” that has been taking place for years is now hyper - accelerated because of recent worldwide events. With it comes a deleterious effect on our held beliefs based on the constitution and it will affect America and the world. America has stood on her religious/moral beliefs in the past, being both Judeo- Christian. Now that is under attack and challenged to be discarded. Everything Matters Our decisions matter, these affect us now and in the future. For others, they do not think decisions are all too important, it will all work out in the end, or we can have a do over for anything that goes wrong. As many have learned through life, action brings a reaction. It matters what one thinks, because how they think is how they will live. And right now there is a tremendous amount that is going wrong because of how we think. God who knows the future through the apostle Paul said this would occur: 2 Tim 3:1-5 “ But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away !” There are many ways this can be applied to our modern day, let me bring some application to what is taking place. Perilous - means dangerous, hazardous, unsafe times to live in. The love of self will be the majority view of how to live, not than the love of others. Selfishness is not caring for others. The love of money – coveting. Certainly illustrates that one will trade whatever ethics they have to gain this as there personal security, even if they throw away friendships. Boasters, proud and blasphemers- Pride, their opinion matters more. They boast to know it all and even know better than God, they dismiss God, or curse him. Disobedient to parents – carries the meaning of rejecting what parents tried to instill in them – to know right from wrong, they do not want to do what is right. Unthankful – they always want more than what they have. They think they deserve everything. Unholy – means to do the opposite of what God asks of us and do not consider it an option. Unforgiving – means there is no end to their anger and hatred, they will not let go, holding grudges which leads to slander of those they are against and eventually acting out their anger (as did Cain with Abel). Without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, they do not contain their sin nature, they destroy individuals and culture. Traitors – they do not keep their word, they betray their brother Headstrong, haughty – they have pride it is their way, no other way is considered. Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – they love and live for self, as Paul began this by saying lovers of themselves, He ends with it. Having a form of godliness but denying its power. They look like they have what is right on their side, that they are doing good, or have a justified cause that is of God. But their non submission to the Word of God, acting in the flesh shows whom they serve. And from such people turn away – have nothing to do with them. Globalism vs. the Republic Their globalist plan that was to continue to be implemented in stages was immediately postponed by an American first president being elected. This did not sit well with the plans of the elite who want to erase the borders and change the ways of our government and make the culture malleable to Socialist ways. They have not picked up and gone home, they are vigorously fighting even as all their cards are all turned up on the table. In Humanist Manifesto II, under the heading, "World Community," we read: We deplore the division of humankind on nationalistic grounds. We have reached a turning point in human history where the best option is to transcend the limits of national sovereignty as to move toward the building of a world community... We look to the development of a system of world law and a world order based upon transnational federal government.t Elsewhere in the same document, we read : What more daring a goal for humankind than for each person to become, in ideal as well as practice, a citizen of a world community. Ever hear of being a citizen of the world, that is the globalism platform, and that is their goal. Becoming a citizen of the world, national citizenship is no longer valid because technology and commerce have united the world into a global community. Influences in a certain culture can now be expanded to all cultures. We hear that we are a Democratic government. That is incorrect, by our constitution we are a Republic. The power of government is held by the people. The people give power to leaders they elect to represent them and are to serve their interests. The representatives are responsible for helping all the people in the country, not just a certain group of people. This right is not given to all living in the land, only those who are legal citizens are to vote. In a Republic the powers of sovereignty are vested in the people and are exercised by the people, either directly, or through representatives chosen by the people, specifically delegated by being elected. When you don’t know past history you cannot know how we got to where we are today. What have we learned from what has transpired in our history? God has shown America that even a government based on his laws and principles are still subject to corruption by certain non moral individuals. They can reshape the way laws are implemented. Real fascism has a goal of total control of the people by a government ruling party, that may or not be elected. Socialism is a disbelief in God and believes in the state. We already tax the rich more than just about any other country. We have in America the top 1% paying 50% of the taxes. Socialism relies on capitalism to fund it. As Margaret Thatcher said The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money. Marxism has a hatred of God. Its answer is for religion to be replaced with humanistic socialism-communism, the state (a ruling elite) becomes the provider and enforcer of all. Everyone has an equality, the same with the lowest common denominator. The Beatles sang both good and bad songs, they had was their finger on the cultures pulse at the time (60’s) that was changing. The UN adopted one of Lennon’s song “Imagine”. This other song was about change during the Vietnam war era. Here are some excerpts:
You say you want a revolution
(full lyrics)
But when you talk about destruction , Don't you know that you can count me out,
You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know We all want to change your head
We hear it is like the 60’s all over again. Hardly, in the 60’s those who were mostly anti-government were non-violent. Singing in the 60’s for war to end and for peace to be the norm is no longer a valid concept for the 2020’s. Some still want to change the world by a revolution; we are now facing violence on the streets. Many have joined big government; it’s now their friend. Anything goes, as radical, angry, violent change agent’s rise. A cadre of activists already in position in their perspective vocations in government have risen and joined together as co - belligerent’s, making the enemy of my enemy my friend for their forcible change. Politicians: mayors governors, justices pretend to defend the truth and what is good, to some of them the truth is theoretical – more a matter of their interpretation. They refuse to charge criminal behavior that destroys people’s property and lives. There should be more justice not less, but this will not take place with these activists making the judgments. They all represent the state of denial. They deny any criminality, telling us there is “nothing to see here.” Some of the most unintelligent decisions are being made by activist politicians that claim they are altruistic in their ruling. What they really are is unprincipled and this is where the confidence and trust has eroded that they will do the right thing. We are watching an exercise in dismissiveness by certain people who were elected to the position to keep law and order that refuse to denounce the rioters. They do not acknowledge there are rioters, looters, arsonist’s not peaceful protest, they permit this to take place. In fact there are many who are pleased to see this chaos taking place. We see arrest - release; arrest - release. Lacking moral and judicious strength this becomes a revolving door in certain cities. This is a good time for criminals, they are being released so they don’t contract covid. At the same time we are told to wear masks and stay indoors. Apparently masks and staying inside are necessary for everyone else but not for those incarcerated. Criminals are loosed to spare them from a virus, only for them to kill and rape again, and who is going to arrest them when the police have been defunded or gone? They know when the police are gone they can do whatever they want and this will result in complete bedlam in the cities. For example, an American Muslim terrorist that plotted to behead Pamela Geller in 2015 has been granted early release from prison by a judge because he might contract the coronavirus . There is no rationale to this decision. The justice system is not being adhered to, many are trying to circumvent it, so we find truth trampled upon. As Scripture says: “ Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off; for TRUTH is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter ” (Isaiah 59:12-14). This is what we are facing today. This push to transform America ignoring the reasonable means and boundaries we already have in place. Like it or not, it resembles former third world revolutions that never seem to end well. If they are doing this in the first few months what will it be like later if it is not brought under control? I have to wonder if people be physically prevented from voting by these “hostile activists” when the time arrives? What began as a soft revolution has turned hard, as almost all eventually do. This passivity only gives the revolution strength until it eviscerates all it touches. Moribund its way to the final resting place of all revolutions, death and destruction of the people and society. The only equivalent I can think of is the TV show Gotham (batman) where the criminals ran the cities. Pt. 2 Politics of life, or death?
