Planned NOT to parent, the new norm Of all the numerous problems in our world and nation today we do not need more killing. While many advances in science have good intentions they can also bring us to moral spiritual bankruptcy. Abortion and the harvesting of baby parts human embryos has become one of those issues that one can no longer remain neutral on. God made only mankind in his image. We are uniquely singled out, bearing the image of God above any other creature. We are the sole direct object of Christ's redemptive love. Christ went to the trouble of dying for our transgressions against God by becoming a human. He went through the process of being put in a womb and being there for 9 months like any other. Born under human conditions (without sin). Certainly the pre-existent Son of God was a person and He was a person in the womb. The pro abortion movement has spokesman that represent their view as freedom of choice. Do women have freedom of choice? Yes. She can choose to rid her child in the womb by being killed by a doctor but if she decides to have it and become a stay at home mom she is frowned upon. Why do we consider life, a beating heart but when it’s in the womb it’s not life, just a fetus. If one kills a baby in the womb by mistake it’s considered murder but when it’s done by a doctor by permission of the mother its abortion, not murder. Feminism, a popularized secular worldview sees a child in the womb to be treated more as an illness that you cure by an abortion. The move is to downsize families and prohibit births from increasing. Population control makes the earth more sustainable, manageable. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton agreed that population control should be linked with environmental concerns. "We see abortion as a necessary, desirable service and as an integral piece of comprehensive reproductive health care services." NEWS from CAPS [PPFA's Coalition of Abortion Providers], October 1990). Health care disguised as convenience for what was not planned. The new view that being popularized by some is seen in The Journal of Medical Ethics who published an article saying newborn babies are not “actual persons” and do not have a “moral right to life”. http://jme.bmj.com/content/early/2012/02/22/medethics-2011-100411.full.pdf+html Killing babies no different from abortion, experts say: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/9113394/Killing-babies-no-different-from-abortion-experts-say.html Parents should be allowed to have their newborn babies killed because they are “morally irrelevant” and ending their lives is no different to abortion, a group of medical ethicists linked to Oxford University has argued. We are told: Whether or not abortion should be legal turns on the answer to the question of whether and at what point [an embryo or] a fetus is a person. This is a question that cannot be answered logically or empirically. The concept of personhood is neither logical nor empirical: It is essentially a religious, or quasi-religious idea, based on one's fundamental (and therefore unverifiable) assumptions about the nature of the world. (Paul Campos, professor of law at the University of Colorado. (2002) Paul Campos, “Opinions: PAUL CAMPOS: Abortion and the rule of law,” Scripps Howard News Service, 2002-JAN, at: http://www.nandotimes.com The Sierra Club has stated that Sierra Club website population section as of July, 2003, "... all of our environmental successes may be short-lived if they do not include efforts to address population growth." So we can see by their own philosophy that this is connected to saving the earth. Under the heading large families “In that sense young families should, if at all possible, try to have no more than 2 children maximum. One child would also be ok, it would help things balance out sooner if more families thought about it that way. Families with more than two children, as lovely and heart-warming as that sounds, are actually counter-productive for the planet. (Eco Sins- www.toptipspot.com) “…it is sinful for anybody to have more than two children” (Environmental Handbook p.139, John Fischer). “Stabilizing the U.S. population should be declared a national policy. Immediate steps should be taken to: 1. Legalize voluntary abortion and sterilization and provide these services free. 2. Remove all restrictions on the provision of birth control information and devices; provide these services free to all, including minors. 3. Make sex education available to all appropriate levels, stressing birth control practices and the need to stabilize the population…” (pp. 317-318, Keith Murray)The global warming agenda of controlling birth rates: At the U.N. climate conference in Copenhagen the vice minister of China’s Family Planning Commission said her communist state’s “one-child” policy is helping save the world from “global warming” and should be a model for other nations to follow. Zhao Baige said it has prevented 400 million births and thus saves “1.8 billion tons of carbon dioxide “pollution” per year (“Chinese Minister Links ‘One-Child Policy’ to Emissions Reduction,” CNSNews, Dec. 11, 2009). Don’t adults use far more carbon than babies? China has no pollution restrictions but their answer is to remove life? Here’s a slogan that reflects her policy: “Save the earth kill the children.” They fear warming of the planet but are cold as death to a newborn life. Something is very wrong in the direction they are taking. Are we not all full grown fetus’, which are persons? Can we expect better answers from mature evolved monkeys in our evolutionary history? We have come such a looong way to these conclusions, millions of years. When a society forfeits its moral standard it is a precursor to either judgment from God or making itself ripe for a dictator; we may get both, two for one. A deal the world cannot refuse. Abortion for all – choose death instead of life National Geographic did a film in 2005 that showed something important “The fetus behaves in a much more complex way than previously imagined... During her odyssey in the womb she will smile, recognize her mother's voice and maybe even dream.” (In the Womb, National Geographic, 2005). “One of the many things revealed by the 4D scans is the fact that babies have rapid eye movement sleep. This is a period of sleep when the eyes slicker around behind the eyelids. Later in life, his is an indication of dreaming. This gentle flicker of an eye could be a sign that the fetus, still with a month to go before being born is already dreaming.” (ibid) “Twins, and other multiples, are known for a particular characteristic in utero. Scientists have even witnessed them playing games together... Scientists think their prenatal behavior [carries] over into early childhood.” (ibid) 18 States prohibit teens to go to tanning beds to apparently prevent cancer but they can get an abortion which causes a death every time. Where’s the logic in this legislation? The U.S. Congress has barred the use of federal Medicaid funds to pay for abortions, except when the woman's life would be endangered by a full-term pregnancy or in cases of rape or incest (AGI). But we are being forced by law to support killing babies by our tax dollars. US citizens were promised no taxpayer dollars would fund abortions in his Obama Care legislation, but funding abortions has been confirmed in the health care law. Section 1303, requires enrollees in the health care exchanges to pay a separate monthly surcharge for abortion coverage, 1$. So what’s a dollar? When you add up millions of people paying each month it becomes a continual flow of millions of dollars, more than they ever had. Worldwide, some 20-30 million legal abortions are performed annually, with another 10-20 million abortions performed illegally (see The Alan Guttmacher Institute). In America 40 million babies have been aborted, but this is a small percentage compared to America’s newest competitor China. 400 million babies have been aborted in China. That is more than all the people living in America, Man women and child. We are in a quandary. China owns a good portion of our debt, 99% of Apple products which everyone uses, which are now soaring on the market are produced in China. While we see this as a policy in China right here at home we read “Abortion safer than giving birth: study By Genevra Pittman NEW YORK Mon Jan 23, 2012. (Reuters Health) - Getting a legal abortion is much safer than giving birth, suggests a new U.S. study published Monday. Researchers found that women were about 14 times more likely to die during or after giving birth to a live baby than to die from complications of an abortion. Experts say the findings, though not unexpected, contradict some state laws that suggest abortions are high-risk procedures. The message is that getting an abortion and giving birth are both safe, said Dr. Anne Davis, who studies obstetrics and gynecology at the Columbia University Medical Center in New York, and wasn't involved in the new study.…. “Women who are having abortions are having a safe, common surgical procedure or taking medication for the same reason,” she told Reuters Health “They should feel confident that the medical care they're having is safe, long-term and short-term.” (Source: bit.ly/s3TyE Obstetrics & Gynecology, online January 23, 2012) Canada’s Financial Post called for a global law patterned after “China’s one-child policy” as “the only way to reverse the disastrous global birthrate,” calling China “the world’s leader in terms of fashioning policy to combat environmental degradation.” Are we adopting a Chinese way to approach population? China has 35,000 abortions a day. China has lost 400 million PEOPLE in 30 years by this policy (mostly women). Along with this elimination (that is to help global warming) they are also dealing with 500 suicides a day. Because of their one child policy they will soon have no wives for men. Chairman Mao’s policy of one child per family had the intent to conquer the world. Imagine a country that has as many men soldiers as they need and not care how many are killed in combat? As far fetched as this sounds, it’s a plan. “gendercide” is not a new term. It was first used publicly in 1985's Gendercide: The Implications of Sex Selection by Mary Anne Warren. She coined the term to describe the systematic killing of members of a certain gender. Historically, that gender has been female. Indian economist, Amartya Sen, published a paper in 1990 placing the number of “missing women” in Asia and North Africa at more than 100 million, Amartya Sen. “More Than 100 Million Women Are Missing.” The New York Review of Books 37.20, Dec 20, 1990: http://ucatlas.ucsc.edu/gender/Sen100M.htmlIn China and northern India more than 120 boys are being born for every 100 girls. Nature dictates that slightly more males are born than females to offset boys' greater susceptibility to infant disease. But nothing on this scale ... It is no exaggeration to call this gendercide. Women are missing in their millions-aborted, killed, neglected to death (The Economist “Gendercide.” Mar 4, 2010: http://www.economist.com/node/15606229Ayaan Hirsi Ali was much more honest about abortion's contribution to the problem in her opinion piece for The New York Times. She notes that, “one United Nations estimate says from 113 million to 200 million women around the world are demographically 'missing.'“ The first causal factors she lists are “selective abortion and infanticide.” http://www.abort73.com/abortion/abortion_and_gendercide/Are these countries just being pragmatic? Or is there a more insidious end to these decisions? Planned Parenthood removes unwanted children from the womb; how do they advertise their services? By promoting sexual activity (after all they are going to do it anyway) the children are exposed at a young age by their sex education to learn more. It ends with filling up the tank of desire. 35 states currently enforce parental consent or notification laws for minors seeking an abortion. Nine state courts block these laws. Thirty-one states ban abortion coverage for low-income women, and 19 states pay for abortion for low-income women. It is reported that 40% of minors having an abortion that neither of their parents knew about. (AGI) There are schools that hand out male contraceptive prevention to children as young as 12 years old. Parents are told this is necessary because they are sexually active. Since they are underage the school is an accomplice to breaking the law. They can’t make a decision that would side with morality. This would mean people must think before they act, exercise some will power. In an age where everyone is formed by group think and cattled in the same direction, we can’t expect a school to act contrary to its education system. The real war on women (in America) is giving them permission to be sexually active and assure them that they will be protected from pregnancy and ignore that STD’s are way up among teens.Planned Parenthood received $487,400,000.00, from U.S. taxpayers in 2009-2010 and for the first time, they topped $1 billion in net assets. Planned Parenthood revealed a total income of $1.1 billion. Taxpayers through federal and state grants and contracts 33% of its entire income).Planned Parenthood in its
2009-10 annual
report indicated that abortion services account for just
3% of all the health services it provides, 33.5% goes to contraception. Yet they
reported that 91 percent of Planned Parenthood's services for pregnant women
resulted in almost 330,000 abortions last year alone. Even with various contraceptive methods, more than half of the 6 million pregnancies in the US each year are considered unplanned, approximately half end in elective terminations. Legalization of abortion From 1900 until the 1960s, abortions were prohibited by law. Elective termination of pregnancy remains common in the United States and worldwide. Since the 1973 US Supreme Court decision of legalizing abortions, approximately 1.3-1.4 million abortions have been performed annually in the United States. Abortion is one of the most common medical procedures performed in the United States each year. It is reported more than 40% of all women will end a pregnancy by abortion at some time in their reproductive lives. There were 1.21 million abortions performed in the United States in 2008, the most recent year for which data is available. This amounts to 3,322 abortions per day. That is as many servicemen we lost in the whole Iraq war. Hundreds of state and federal laws have been passed, it is the most litigated and controversial area in the field of medicine. I can see end of life care will be the next step in this ongoing process once this is accepted and implemented. If they do not respect life when it’s vulnerable in the womb what would they respect when one is older! Has Gendercide come to America? Recently congress failed to prevent to pass a bill on gender abortion. This would have made it a federal crime to carry out an abortion based on the gender of the fetus, male or female. The legislation is sponsored by Trent Franks, an anti-abortion activist. Who wanted the offense subject to up to five years in prison, to perform, solicit funds to perform or coerce a woman into a sex-selection abortion. Bringing a woman into the country to obtain such an abortion would also be punishable by up to five years in prison. “We are the only advanced country left in the world that still doesn't restrict sex-selection abortion in any way.” “This evil practice has now allowed thousands of little girls in America and millions of little girls across the world to be brutally dismembered.” The White House called selective abortion left up to ones personal decision. Planned Parenthood had recently been videoed counseling women to terminate a pregnancy; if it’s a girl- they too call it a personal decision. When people can be this flippant on life we know we are nearing the end of a culture.
