Attracting Money by YOUR Words Creflo Dollar explains, “God began to deal with me about three keys to operating in instant miracles. I mean, things that everybody in here can do. I began to talk to him about the thing he needs, which is wisdom from God, not wisdom from men. You called me for my wisdom, but I'm going to point you to a better wisdom. I showed him about the mysteries. You start praying in tongues, start declaring I believe-I receive, and as I did that the Lord said, “And also, when you pray the mysteries release your angels.” When you pray in tongues, don't only believe that you receive by faith, but go ahead and release your angels and have them to bring to pass what you prayed in the Holy Ghost that you don't even know what you said in your mind. God is going to pour out revelation where this last wave of prosperity is concerned. They can't mock us this time. They've mocked everybody that ever tried to teach on money, but they won't be able to do it this time because God is backing us up. Because folks, it’s not about just money for your own consumption. It's money so we can get this Gospel out, so Jesus can get back. And besides, He made a promise to restore everything that was stolen. “Money doesn't define my richness. Money doesn't define my wealth. The money is a result of what's on the inside of me. Money will come, but you've got to give it a reason to come. Whew!” “All right, let's call this harvest in. Say it out loud with me. In the name of Jesus, as a child of God, as the redeemed of the Lord, I command the harvest that's crying out for me, come forth now! Angels go! Bring that harvest of wealth! Bring that harvest of anointing! Bring that harvest of restored things! Bring it to me now! In the name of Jesus, I receive my harvest…NOW! (Congregation shouting) How many of you are expecting a harvest? (The congregation shouts) Well, in just a few minutes I want you to praise Him like you're expecting something. Act like you're expecting something! (Shouting) (Every word of God has power pt. 4 Sept.16, 1998). This is why Creflo can lead his people into a chant say “money-- come unto me now.” The money shows the anointing? After the people were all worked up Creflo was still not finished as he explained “That word ‘money cometh’ obligates Jesus the apostle and the high priest of our confession to oversee that word, I’m telling to ya right now . Money’s coming to you right now, don’t you be surprised when you get home.. the anointing has been released upon you right now.” We’re never going back to the wilderness were stuck in Canaan land. Now watch this Prov.13 v.22 this is something prophetic… it has already started … “the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just” he also adds “the wealth of that disobedient Christian” “I got money looking for me,… tracking me down like a hound dog, money is looking for me.” Another time he stated “That's what happens when you get this anointing on you; money cometh! Everybody that was in covenant with God had the same symptom; money cometh! Abraham had a covenant with God; money cometh! Isaac had a covenant with God, and received a hundredfold in the same year. Money cometh! Jacob was in covenant with God. Money cometh! Jacob was so in covenant with God, Oh, I'm getting ahead of myself. Joseph was in covenant with God. Money cometh! Job had a covenant with God. Money cometh! And you and I have a covenant with God. Money cometh! That's a symptom that goes on with covenant people. Covenant people don't have to beg. Hmm. Ha ha.” I guess the apostles were not in covenant with God when Peter said silver and gold I have not at the gate beautiful. Creflo Dollar avoids many of the passages that would seem to contradict his teachings! Why did Paul write “Even until this present hour we both hunger and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place” (1 Cor 4:11) How bad is all this? Listen to Leroy Thomson on stage with Creflo approving his message. After Creflo gets the people worked up about their prosperity he says, “tonight is my night this is it, supernatural debt cancellation, supernatural favor, supernatural increase, unexpected income, now when you pull this lever (a make believe lever like a slot machine), you’ll pull it three times, there going to be breakthrough for you, are you hearing me, lets go (has them all say it out loud together money cometh to me now) “MONEEEY COMETH TO ME NOW,” now there’s something about that third pull we gonna pull two more times and I want you to know your speaking prophetical words that came from all mighty God himself. Are you ready? “MONEEEY COMETH TO ME NOW”, one more time, I dare you pull that lever, I dare I dare you pull it; I dare you pull it. Now something about the third pull when God first gave me this revelation, I said it twice and the third time something broke loose in me; money with a mission. Rich with a reason… Now I’m telling you right now it’s going to happen to you tonight. No more struggle, get ready, this is when it happen...(people screaming throughout his statement) were gonna pull this thing and many of God’s children in this place tonight, you’re gonna get, and you’re gonna see instant results begin to take place in your life financially…look at somebody and say this it… hypes them and they all say “MONEEEEEY COMETH TO ME NOW” “shout about it!” Creflo then steps in repeating “Glory to God” many times”, “This is not by might this is not by power but it is by the spirit of the almighty God”, “I’m telling you angels are bumping into one another because their going to get your money and bring it in, I’m telling its on its way…” This is a revelation from the almighty!!! It’s not found in the Bible; but he claims God spoke this to him, so now this can be equivalent to inspired Scripture because it is doctrinal and it’s prophetic. These kinds of affirmation are used in the New Age movement all the time. This is not a teaching from Jesus no matter how many times they tag his name on it. It’s affirmations and occultic, it should not be allowed or entertained in the Church. To attribute this teaching to the Spirit of God is outrageous and shows how far removed these men are from Biblical Christianity. It appears it was Leroy Thomson who first introduced the Congregational chant with Creflo “money cometh to me now,” Copeland used it afterwards at John Hagee’s church as well (almost echoing the warning of Paul in 2 Tim.3 men will be lovers of money). Copeland boasts “YEAH! We named it and claimed it and got it. (crowd cheers)-Blabbed it and grabbed it and still got it.” This all goes to the root of these men’s belief system, that as a child of God we have equal rights to everything of God. The way to get it is to speak with faith in what we want to materialize it from the invisible spiritual realm, which is an occult practice.
“The Bible says that wealth is stored up for the righteous (Proverbs 13:22, New American Standard). However, it will remain stored up until you claim it. Therefore, claim it NOW! You possess the blessing to seize and command wealth and riches to come to you (Deuteronomy 8:18). Exercise that power by speaking faith-filled words daily and taking practical steps to eradicate debt. Like God, you can speak spiritual blessings into existence (Romans 4:17). Remember, doubt keeps silent, but faith speaks!” (Finances Your Inheritance of Wealth and Riches- World changers website) “Jesus was obligated to do it for__ he had to. Why because she obligated him by speaking what he said about her situation.” She had to say it she had speak it, your sitting in a building that was manifested as a results of our laying hold of the profession of our faith” (another time it was all because of what he said by himself) “By confession Jesus and the angels were obligated to bring the confession to pass, its what I’ve been doing over the last 18 years, it works.” Creflo interprets Hebrews 3:1 passage of Jesus being 'The Apostle and High Priest of our confession' “He’s the apostle and the high priest of, listen, listen to what he is, the apostle of, listen to the reason he has been anointed… he has been sent for our confession now that word profession has been translated, the Greek word is translated confession…So he says the Amplified Bible reads, the apostle and high priest of our confession. Here is what the Concordance says: NT:3671 homologia (hom-ol-og-ee'-ah); from the same as NT:3670; acknowledgment: profession, professed. It has the same root but is not the same word. homologeo; from a compound of the base of NT:3674 and NT:3056; to assent, i.e. covenant, acknowledge: To confess means to agree with God in what He said, not use it as a means to get by spanning through the Bible and picking out what you want or need. In Heb 4:14: the author explains this prior statement “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.” Greek- homologia- profession: whom we profess to be ours it means in context of the book to hold to the one you have confessed for your salvation. The Hebrew believers wanted to turn back under Judaism, the author is admonishing them to go on to maturity, holding to what they first stated in their belief. It does not mean what you are saying something to possess it as the faith teachers teach. Furthermore, Scripture does not teach in any way shape or form that Jesus Christ is to obey our words. The Scriptures clearly teach the opposite-- that we are to obey Jesus Christ and keep his commands. But when you think of yourself as a little God like Adam you are justified to do these things. Hebrews 3:1: “Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus” The point being made is that they would not be removed from what they first confessed, Jesus as Lord, the Son of God who was the basis of their faith (Mt:16:16) v:6 “Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.”This has absolutely nothing to do with our confessing other words, this is an intentional twisting of the Scripture to fit his own predilection of theology of “what you say you get.” The fact is when you confess what Creflo is saying-- you do not get the Scripture but his opinion. The confession that the writer of Hebrews is referring to can further be proven by Jesus’ own statement in Matt. 10:32-33: “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.” John 12:42: “Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue” 1 John 4:3: “and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God.” This confession is centered on the person of Christ as our belief system; not what we say we want by our words.
Creflo then states we make our living with our mouth we don’t make our living with our job and that’s the problem with a lot of ya your still trying to make your living by the job. and that job going from paycheck to paycheck to this point has proven not sufficient enough to do everything God has called you to do because you have been trying to make your living the wrong way, your job is just how you get your seed your mouth is how you make your livin.” I guess Creflo has missed what the apostle Paul said and did. This shows how unbiblical his teaching really is, he first twists the scripture to be something it is not then he completely ignores the commands of Scripture. He scolds them because they have been making their living by their paycheck and it will never be enough for what God wants to do. They can’t do what God says, “because the paycheck won’t allow you” Yet Paul said, “For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you; nor did we eat anyone’s bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of how you should follow us”(2 Thessalonians 3:7-9). He goes on to say v.10-11 “we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies.” By today’s standards they may heave been confessing for their food and housing and not working with their hands. 1 Thess 4:10-12 “But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more” How does Paul explain this to be done? V. 11that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you.” There’s nowhere in the New Testament that gives an example of what Creflo is saying. Proverbs states. There are no examples of someone confessing their living by their mouth and not lifting their hands. Acts 18:3 tells us Paul worked with them “for by occupation they were tentmakers.” And all the apostles “And we labor, working with our own hands” (1 Cor. 4:12). Being a prophet of prosperity Creflo teaches that “Jesus has been sent and anointed to watch out and carry out and to supervise your profession and your profession is your co-fession, you make your living with the word of God coming out of your mouth.” “You make your living with your mouth and words.” Jesus is looking for somebody to get this thing… Jesus has been appointed by God to oversee how you make your livin’ when you open your mouth and speak his word” Creflo explains, if you speak the word and then unbalance it with speaking words of unbelief it will cancel it out. “He oversees my confession I make my livin that way” “Oooh I don’t think my prayers ever reach heaven, it don’t have to get passed your nose baby, all you got to do is open your mouth and speak the power.” If you speak God’s word, “If you do that I’ll make you justified, I’ll cause some things to happen” Here is how it works according to Creflo’s imagination--”Jesus as awesome he is has been given the appointment and the anointing by God the father…I got to give you a picture of this, he’s meeting with Jesus…He says here’s what I want you to do son, I anoint you as the apostle and high priest over … there confession…whatever they say, whatever they say your responsible for making sure it comes to pass, and so Jesus spoke to the angels and Jesus said to angels harken after the voice of my word there his workers finally they get, and he says something out of the word of God … I will say continually let the lord take pleasure in prosperity of his servant, so the angels hear it and they say yea that’s the word, the come back report it to Jesus. Say Jesus we got an assignment ok, so Jesus now sends them on they way, go get it go get it, I’m overseeing it, he’s the supervisor now those are the workers…he’s the one that’s the high priest and apostle over what he says and the angels now have to go and make it happen.” So in essence we are in control of everything that happens to us, not God, He only does what we want to happen. Then who is God and who is man? “Jesus said as apostle and high priest over your profession I now ordain the angels to carry out what they hear you say from God’s word, and there angels right now everyday awaiting for somebody to open their mouth up and obligate Jesus to be the apostle over what they say and Jesus said angels when you hear my word coming out of the voice of man harken. They have been sent to minister to those who shall be heirs, angels have been sent to minister to us our inheritance but they are not allowed to do one thing without an official work order. Angels ain’t gonna get you no money because you say go get me some money. But when you say the wealth of the wicked is on its way into my hands and it will eventually find itself here into my hands --angels go speed it up and make sure my money gets to where I’m going, they hear and do.” “Who gives you the true riches which is the anointing? The bridge, that thing that stands between you and the anointing is what you do what with the wealth. But, you ain't gonna have no wealth until you get anointed. Anointed to get the wealth to anoint. Anointed to get the wealth to anoint. Anointing to get the wealth to anoint. Anointing to get the wealth to anoint.” “The substance of the house you want is faith substance. …before the wood, before the tree, before the seed, there was the substance. And when you get the substance, then you can get the seed, which will bring the tree, which will produce the wood, which will build your house. But without faith stuff, you have no stuff, because faith stuff is the stuff of all stuff. Take away the faith stuff, you ain't got no stuff. Get the faith stuff, and you can get some more stuff, because you got the main stuff. Now, did you get all that stuff? (Changing Your World Show, Sept. 20, 1998) Those who preach the prosperity message intentionally forget that God allowed His people to be hungry in the wilderness so that He might humble them and test them before He would bless them. “He might humble you and that He might test you, to do you good in the end” in doing this they would not say “then you say in your heart, 'My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth” (Deuteronomy 8:16-17). The Bibles teaching-Prov.23:4-5 “Do not overwork to be rich; because of your own understanding, cease! Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven.” Do you see yourself obtaining riches by your confessing words as taught by the prosperity teachers- than this Scripture and many others speak against it. While Creflo states many of the Scriptures pertaining to wealth (some that might even impugn him) he does give the appearance that all is justified by God. “And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.” Something Creflo does claim by the words spoken from his mouth. However the truth is God has a problem with his children seeking money, for if He did not He would not have warned them of the traps it brings. 1 Tim 6 Paul warned us of teachers who would “suppose that godliness is a means of gain,” and exhort us to stay away from them. 1 Tim. 6:3-11: “ If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.”
