*The revealing of the sons of God: Rom 8:18-23: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves”

God subjected the creation to be under the curse when Adama and Eve sinned. The principle is that when Adam sinned what was under his rulership was also punished. We are the sons of God waiting patiently for the time of our revealing. we now wait for God’s timing for this to take place. No amount of spirituality will transform us or the creation before the time allowed in God’s providence. We now have suffering, but in the end we will have glory. v:18 refers to the future glory in the resurrection (9:23 see 1 Cor.15:40-43; 2 Cor. 3:8; Col 1:27; 1 Pt.5:1) Christ in you, the hope of glory. Hope is something that has not yet appeared (Col.3:4, 2 Thess.2:14). In the meantime the earth and its fallen nature are in travail, in convulsions until its redemption, when will no longer be subject to sin and the sinful nature that corrupts we will be changed into always being holy.

Heb 2:5-10: "For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. But one testified in a certain place, saying: "What is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You take care of him? You have made him a little lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor, and set him over the works of Your hands. You have put all things in subjection under his feet." For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone."

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Jesus is our forerunner, God who became man, lower than the angels, He became the first man to be exalted to eternal life.
