How to become a prophetic voice in the church? The Deception deepens... Or, you don’t believe false teachers and prophets have influence! One is to draw from the Scripture prophecy that which is being fulfilled, there is no new future forthtelling except from the prophets of the Scripture. When ‘they’ start speaking outside the book saying God said this or that to them as the prophets of old, when they have various experience just like the apostles, they are lying, they are deceived. Jesus foretold us in Matt 24:4-5 Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. Jesus warned about deception being indicative of being in the last days, this will be the common denominator TO THE CHURCH, as he warned his disciples who were to become the apostles. He addressed it directly, and gave examples they will say Matt 24:5 'I am the Christ,’ v.11 there will be 'many false prophets.’ Those who call themselves ‘prophets’, are those who do not see they are deceived. How Ironic is this, that Jesus warns of both false Christ's and prophets and they cannot understand they are actually fulfilling his prophecy? They say we need prophets! No, we need to understand prophecy that has already been given. God has written everything we need to understand of the latter times, the days we are living in. And it is escalating as the darkness deepens. Out of this prophetic movement which is becoming the norm in the church, they use buzzwords like ‘revival,’a ‘manifest presence’ to ingratiate themselves to be heard. There are even those who will claim to be Elijah, or one of the two witnesses (but they are not in Israel?). Or something totally new, saying the time is near (Matthew 24:11), they will claim to be Christ (the anointed), or the Messiah himself. Jesus said do not go after them. Yet too many do already. Why? Because they are not listening to the real Jesus, but to men of our day who are misled and misleading others, they are being trained to think unbiblically, by distorting the words of scripture. The most repeated warning sign for the end times is FALSE PROPHETS. And they obviously fulfill it and people follow unquestionably, willingly. Paul writes what happened to Israel is for our example, the prophet Jeremiah says in 29:8-9 “thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you , nor listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them, says the LORD. John tells us “the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world” (1 John 4:3). This spirit challenges the Holy Spirit who wrote the word. Paul writes us, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” (Rom 8:14) We are led by the Word y understanding in’context’, led by the prophets of the word, not by ‘new prophets with new words.’ This is where the deception is occurring. The lawless one who is to come is currently being restrained but his deception grows. 2 Thess. 2:9 “the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders.” V.12 “Among those who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” There is a strong delusion developing that will lead people to accept the antichrist to be Christ. This includes those who claim Christianity if they are not careful and discerning and distinguish what is written from what is not written.. An example of this is William Branham. He made the case that he was the last messenger of the church, 7th angel to the church, who is also Elijah,... the prophet. That was himself. So why do we have so many prophets today? They believe Branham’s message of the Latter Rain but not of himself, they draw what they can from his teaching on the Latter Rain to mimic him. Branham spoke and they repeat, “The latter rain's being poured out in these last days: power, signs and wonders.” (56-1002A, Father, The Hour Has Come, Lane Tech High School, Chicago, IL) This is what Branham said of himself. “The last age is a prophetic message to the church, calling them back to the original Word. …? Malachi 4 said so, and others, Revelations 10:7 and on down.” (63-0321, The Fourth Seal, Branham Tabernacle, Jeffersonville, IN) Branham forced a reinvented typology for a a prophetic succession of Elijah. Yet Branham would continue to say, a “Light come down from Heaven, shining down above there, like a Star falling from the Heaven. A Voice said, As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Christ, your Message shall forerun His second Coming, into all the world.” This day this Scripture is fulfilled.” (65-0219, This Day This Scripture Is Fulfilled, Park View Junior High School, Jeffersonville, IN) That he was Elijah! Bill Hamon, who went through the Latter Rain period (late 40's-50s) believed the false prophet William Branham who was leading the charge. He echoes his agreement with Branham. “Jesus will come back to earth and be given the Kingdom that has been won for Him by this “manchild company.” “The Manifested Sons of God doctrine teaches that these sons will be equal to Jesus Christ: immortal, sinless, perfected sons who have partaken of the divine nature. They will have every right to be called gods and will be called gods.” (Prophets and the Prophetic Movement Bill Hamon). How far away from the Scripture can these representatives of the Latter Rain get in the name of Christ and as prophets? These are those who are trying to lead the church away from understanding Scripture in its context (Bill Johnson is one of the heads of this deception of the Latter Rain). Paul Cain who worked with and accepted what Branham spoke on his Latter Rain view was known for the introduction of the “New Breed,” a term describing the Manifest Sons of God theology originating from Branham. “God's raising up a new standard, a new banner, if you will, that's going to radically change the expression, the understanding of Christianity in our generation...God has invited us to have a role in establishing a new order of Christianity...God is offering to this generation something He has never offered to any other generation... beware lest old order brethren rob you and steal this hope from you.” (Paul Cain, “You Can Become the Word!” 1989, Vineyard Prophetic Conference) Underline mine Cain taught that certain believers become immortals on earth before Jesus comes. If you don’t believe, than you are the old order brethren. Todd Bentley became the surrogate for this message. He is connected to Bill Johnson and those who are runaway charismatics from Scripture that promote this same concept as Branham. Why do they listen him and other like him, they lack the love of the truth! They want power, experiences to be their teacher.

breed. How far away from Scripture can these modern day prophets lead the
church, when will the church see this for what it is, false teaching, as
accepting as strong delusion instead of the Spirit of truth from the Scripture. Todd White, “start to gain their identity through what they do instead of what they are. But when sonship is established, you are doing the miracle because of who you are. You are healing somebody through the power of God through you because Holy Spirit flows through you just like He did through Jesus because of God’s love for them.So God will flow through you no matter if your garden is clean or not, but you are a steward of your own heart. Todd White has made himself well known by bringing a camera everywhere he goes on the street to embellish the stories, manipulating the participants for public consumption through social media, and it has made it quite profitable, just look at the house he lives in. Why are we tolerant of blatant false teachers. Wasn’t there something said about this in the Bible, yes there is. It was called the Pharisees. Tony Kemp watched Sid Roth’s ‘Its supernatural so much that he began to absorb all the tall tales from Sid Roth’s interviews. He tells of 2 ancient looking angels coming to him after each meeting he was in, and even Jesus comes to him. 2 Angels Came to Me with an URGENT MESSAGE! Anyone who watches Sid Roth should know a high percentage of what is said is just unbiblical, stories of peoples imaginations, fantasy and deception. Discernment must be exercised. Now when you hear someone give numerous supernatural stories happening to them you need your discernment to judge, there will always be a clues as to whether it is true or deceptive. Along with numerous 2 angelic APPEARANCES Kemp says, “I had an appearance of Jesus and an angel.” When asked by Sid Roth: Why do you have all these appearances? Kemp says: All I can tell people to do is, just watch "It's Supernatural!" they'll get a revelation and an impartation.” He goes on and steps further off the cliff by saying “you're getting an impartation, and you're getting an introduction into a realmwhere you can experience what that prophet experienced,what that apostle experienced, because it's for all of us.’ The interview has Kemp say we are featuring a book, "Manifesting the Glory," and exclusive 3-CD audio teaching, "Holy Spirit Mantles Unveiled: Ascending Heavenly Realms." Roth: Why did you write it?”
Kemp says: “It
was born out of spiritual hunger. I just was struggling-I began to have my
spiritual eyes opened, my spiritual ears opened, and my heart became more and
more sensitive to the manifest presence of God. I found myself having
supernatural visions, heaven encounters, visitations of angels, and it literally
has transformed my life and my ministry” This is the Christianity of our day, telling people the apostles/prophets were not specially appointed, we can have and do all they did. People are being fully deceived into another Jesus with a different spirit, they seek power. These deceptive stories are being posted everywhere and people accept them as truth. These wayward false teachers can be very convincing, because they act so sincere. They can have you believe an orange is an apple, that what is false is true. See to it that you are not deceived! Do Christians await the return of Jesus the Messiah to fulfill all the prophetic promises written or Does Jesus wait for the church to take its place to rule? Claiming Jesus is ruling as king now from heaven through the Church. Is this not the same thing the Devil did when he tempted Jesus. The Devil wanted Jesus to become a king at the wrong time, to claim what is his. He wanted Jesus to break with the prophetic plan of God. Jesus rightly refused to become king at the time, then referring to the Word. The Cross comes first, the crown comes later. You can no longer afford to be biblically illiterate in these latter days. A Soft, convenient, tolerant Christianity will be swallowed up by the delusion that is growing stronger daily. The question is will you resist this delusion or become part of it? Along with Jesus warning, Paul wrote Eph 5:6 “Let no one deceive you with empty words”; Col. 2:4 “with persuasive words”; 2 Thess. 2:3 “by any means.” John also writes in 1 John 2:26 “I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.” 1 John 3:7 “let no one deceive you.” |
