The Unity of the apostates

They continually claim we are either at the edge of revival or it is already begun taking place…using the book of Joel’s quote by Peter they have created the cliché that “God is pouring out his spirit upon all flesh TODAY.” Joel’s prophecy is about the fulfillment in the Tribulation period, for Israel and their salvation. So there is no justification for putting this prophecy as being fulfilled before the tribulation, being about the church. But they use scripture in whatever way they want because they are wishful thinkers, and word smiths. Scripture is putty in their hand as they continually read out of context passages and rip it away from its cultural historical focus.

Some say that the truth without love is no longer the truth. The Truth is the truth. This is why people can at times be saved by the gospel through false teachers - the Word is still powerful enough to work on its own when there is belief present with the recipient. But giving the gospel correctly for one to be saved by faith does not validate a person who teaches other core doctrines falsely.

The natural man follows his sinful nature and is attracted to fallen creation (Rom.1) and false views of God, not to a Holy God nor his Word which exposes sin (Jn.3, they refuse to come to the light). Embracing a view of a false God, one they have made in their own imagination is what is more often seen in our day than to embrace the Word as it is literally meant to be understood.

They do not think they are doing what is right in their own eyes. Tolerance has made it a wider road, they believe their generosity with salvation is what God would want. However, hey earn the wrath of God with the wider path, not the grace of God which is through the narrow way. It is the new covenant that promises total forgiveness of your sins, not the covenant of law (the old covenant).

Counseling is now dependent on mans wisdom, our strength and wisdom. They tell you that you must be seen as being good to be counseled through your struggles or problems. We become dependent on they say we are not individually thinkers seeing us for who we really are.

Moral relativism is popular among agnostics and pluralists but it is not a view that is connected to reality but makes one of its own. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and so is right and wrong defined by our culture.

“Who’s to say what right and wrong are?” The first question that should be asked: who IS to say what right and wrong are defined as? There are only two possibilities: either man does or something outside man does. The idea that man determines right and wrong is known as "moral relativism", it changes generationally and leads to the downfall of society and when it enters the church. It takes the lampstand away faster than a candle lit in a hurricane.

Instead of mans wisdom, the answer to people’s problems should be a biblical one - die to ones self and learn to carry the cross so that Christ in you can rule over your sinful nature. Let Jesus carry your burdens, as the Scripture says “cast your cares upon him for he cares for you. ” But so many Christians want it done their way and on their terms that they give the Lord no room to work through them. If you are in a church that uses mans methods instead of the Word of God you are in a Laodicean church, a liberal church, even an apostate church.

John 17:15-17 " I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. "They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.”

Today many try to be sanctified in other ways, using means not spoken of in the Bible. The newest popularized way continually comes along, better than the last one.

Our home is heaven that is where our names are registered, that is where our citizenry lies. Yet we are temporary pilgrims in this world. We need a Word work ethic. The world has a strong gravitational pull on us to love it and its ways. We are set our minds on heavenly things (Gods ways to do his work on earth), where we will spend our eternity (if you believe in Christ Jesus). When you see a church seeking after the world’s ways, know that they are of this world. Gods church seeks his Word in truth.

Liars side with liars who continue to lie

Jude is one of Jesus’ own family who wrote about false teachers and apostasy in the church. He said to follow the prophets and apostles we already have been given, not new ones.

What matters is what the Bible says on spiritual matters. If one adds revelation to the Bible we are not to believe them over the Bible- they are puffed up in their own mind according to Paul, they have gone beyond what is written which is said in no uncertain terms, we are not to do.

Apostates can be described with many variable conditions. The most obvious is that they deny Jesus’ deity, showing they neither know the one they call Jesus, nor serve him. Instead they use his name as a cliché,

They pursue experiences and accept teachings without using Biblical discernment. Too much Biblical information causes them to think, which causes an overload.

The philosophical musing of men who cannot accept the Word of God and want their ideas to be taught to the people as being just as valid. Brian McLaren: “ This is how I feel when I’m offered a choice between the roads of exclusivism (only confessing Christians go to heaven), universalism (everyone goes to heaven), and inclusivism (Christians go to heaven, plus at least some others). Each road takes you somewhere, to a place with some advantages and disadvantages, but none of them is the road of my missional calling: blessed in this life to be a blessing to everyone on earth.” (A Generous Orthodoxy McLaren p. 113.)

Did not Jesus say unless one is born again (Spiritually revived from being spiritually dead) they will not see the kingdom of God? There is only one road, not many. Jesus said he is ‘the way’, not a way and decide for yourself what road to travel, it all goes to the same place.

Do we want God’s house of worship to be run as a Business. Have you ever wondered why the church of Laodicea is so rich? Laodicea is a church that has accumulated its own wealth by men’s authority but lacks the teaching of Word.

Take this one example of many of Generals International- achieving societal transformation through intercession and the prophetic. Out of the Box2 prophetic business conference, you will be prepared to prosper by interacting with prophets, marketplace leaders, financial planners, successful business people, pastors and more. God’s desire is for you to have the tools to prosper.

Whose the speakers, as if we need to guess. At the time it was Cindy Jacobs, Peter Wagner, Ed Silvoso, chuck Pierce, and many others. This type of teaching is repeated through so many others.

They of course have books and CD’s to prepare their followers for this new anointing they are going to dispense-

The Spiritual Dynamics of Business -a CD series will not only lay a theological foundation for your success in business, but will also incorporate powerful testimonies that show the results of understanding these dynamics.

Preparing the Way is a CD series of mike Jacobs with God given revelation, the processes involved in preparation for God to visit your city and region. Learn the purpose, calling and anointing of those called as forerunners of revival.

They call themselves generals but the apostles who already built the foundation of the church called themselves servants. The use of the term General certainly means leader s over sergeants, colonels and privates taking orders under them. This is something specifically Jesus told us not to do. No doubt some people who have not been exposed to these type of heresies will be sucked in to their gravitational pull of these personalities.

Preaching prosperity as faith, seeker friendly using worldly methods to attract people and then there is the Emergent church movement which emphasized interfaith practices. There are churches whose lamp has gone out from practicing these. They made a fatal mistake by following the template from their mentors, Nicolaitens, not Jesus.

Jesus said if Satan’s kingdom is divided it will fall. But it is not divided, it is diversified and strengthening. Just as it did the first time Jesus came where demonic activity increased in Israel, so it will be before the second coming. And with it all comes confusion.

We find people everywhere losing confidence in their government, much is justified. Yes we are to be salt and light in a corrupting culture. But Salt that has lost its savor is left to be trampled by the very ones they want to associate with. Because of a lack of education in its laws a country can find itself dying and it is the same with the church not knowing the word.

Focusing our eyes off our trials to look to Jesus is exercising faith (like Peter did on the water, until he didn’t). God uses men and women to accomplish his will, but not always. To trust in man as we trust in God is a snare. The most stupendous events are by Gods direct hand of intervention.

Be Prepared…God is making sure all the eyes of the world are focused on Israel so they know he is their God. For He is soon to do something the world will be stunned by.

In the meantime, the Church has mostly ignored the calling of the gospel to rectify sinners with the holy God. We are like children playing with toys to see what we like to replace it.

As this becomes more powerful we also find a unity developing among the many people that are involved.

The world has ripened for a world leader unlike any other time. The spirit of antichrist has been in the world working against the purposes of God, its main way is to detour people from believing His Word. First as the only way for salvation for unbelievers, second as the only way for a believer to grow spiritually. Satan always influences an apostasy from the Word of God, for he will removes the word from being spoken in its context, and he distorts the meaning to feed our selfishness and promote our pride. There is no better example than the prosperity movement that is one of the main tenets in the word of faith philosophy.

They promote helping the poor and needy to justify their own hypocrisy of luxury. This becomes the number one issue preventing the gospel being given to avoid a soul from judgment, and give them a new life of hope.

We should all be concerned about what is taking place in the world, it but what about the house of God - The church? exactly where does the people who come out from the worlds ways go to

“For the New Reformation to take place the West must acknowledge what is now obvious for all to see: There are two Christianities in our midst. One worships a Punitive Father and teaches the doctrine of Original Sin. It is patriarchal in nature, links readily to fascist powers of control, and demonizes women, the earth, other species, science, and gays and lesbians. It builds on fear and supports empire building. ( p.20 A New Reformation Matthew Fox)

Fox represented many on this matter, and it has become a giant of an issue. He is speaking of churched being updated on its doctrines to be in agreement with the world.

The United Religions Initiative (URI) is a growing global community dedicated to promoting enduring, daily interfaith cooperation, ending religiously motivated violence and creating cultures of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all living beings. It is an organization for global good rooted in shared spiritual values

Preamble

“We, people of diverse religions, spiritual expressions and indigenous traditions throughout the world, hereby establish the United Religions Initiative to promote enduring, daily interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence and to create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all living beings.

We respect the uniqueness of each tradition, and differences of practice or belief.

We value voices that respect others, and believe that sharing our values and wisdom can lead us to act for the good of all.

We believe that our religious, spiritual lives, rather than dividing us, guide us to build community and respect for one another.

Therefore, as interdependent people rooted in our traditions, we now unite for the benefit of our Earth

The world is going toward unity, which includes religion. It will continue to develop until it is completely fulfilled in the Tribulation.

So many want to reinvent Jesus, shape Him to what they want him to be. Just name the name of Jesus, be sincere and we accept you. They have purposely lowered the standard of true unity, however The Book of books doesn't let you do that. Our faith is rooted in a decisive revelation in history called the Bible. ... It is the revelation from the Scripture, that lets you grasp the holiness and majesty of God and know who the creator of all is.

At the present much of the church is desensitized to false teaching. Unless we see the difference from error and truth we cannot expect to make the right choices.

Those who use his name are not doing God’s ministry without being committed to His Word. The Scripture is to be our source for life, not men or their wisdom. As you read the Word and understand it, the fog is lifted and God reveals the meaning that is in the Scripture. It is the truth of God that gives people discernment and gives the church power to do the work.

Going through the Bible on our own book by book teaches us the character of God and his will for us. To do this one needs education, it is not like a topical message with a couple of scriptures sprinkled in.

Jesus made it clear in the Parable he gave in Mt.13 about the sower who went out to sow. This parable is key to understand why those who profess Christ do have trouble makingit to the end. Out of the 4 grounds three departed from what they heard.

Matt.13:4-9 " And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. "Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. "But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away."And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.

"But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

The good ground is your heart, the soil that received the seed (the Word).

Matt. 13:19-23 explains this further, “ the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. "But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; "yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. "Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. " But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it , who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."

Understanding the Word accurately, living it out is what keeps a person from stumbling or falling away.
