The current climate of hating life in the womb If Jesus were born today would Mary be shamed into having an abortion? If her friends were like those today she would have a lot of social pressure to comply with the current consensus of the culture, the spirit of the age. We live in a time when certain people are wanting to see population control implemented by whatever means available. They see this as a necessity to curb the overuse of land and to have sufficient food. They use this argument for their unholy actions. More often called by its scientific title of an embryo or fetus they avoid the identification term of child, baby or human. They change the wording to purposely hide the actual activity of life to soften the impact. Ending a life by calling it Health Care is probably the most obvious and insidious way to obfuscate the meaning. In 1869 the Catholic Church declared abortion a sin punishable by excommunication. No longer is this endorsed. From 1900 until the 1960s, abortions were prohibited by law in America. Since the 1973 US Supreme Court decision of legalizing abortions, approximately 1.3-1.4 million abortions have been performed annually in the United States. Abortion is one of the most common medical procedures performed in America each year. It has been reported more than 40% of all women will end a pregnancy by abortion at some time in their lives. It is a decision often made within the first 3 months. 78% of abortions occur prior to the 10th week of gestation; 92% occur prior to 14 weeks’ gestation (CDC report 2018). It is reported that 40% of minors having an abortion that neither parents know about. There are schools that hand out male contraceptives as prevention to children as young as 12 years old. Parents are told this is a necessary precaution because they are sexually active at this age. Pills are also used to cause a chemical abortion for the mother to more conveniently expel the child. Are we Murdering infants to obtain fetal tissue for vaccine research ? Dissecting body parts from the babies. Dead baby parts are worth big money for all kinds of reasons in medicine. Not since the Mayans have we seen such sacrifices, selling the body parts without the potential mother’s knowledge; how low can you ethically go? Glimpses of the Tribulation are upon us as we watch man’s fallen nature on display as it reaches towards its zenith. If one compares COVID-19 deaths which has brought a scare, hysteria to the population to actual abortion deaths, there really is no comparison . One person is born every eight seconds, and one person dies every twelve seconds. In the US one every 38 seconds (nearly 62 million children were prevented from living by an abortion in the USA since the Row v. Wade decision in 1973) From what I can estimate, worldwide abortions are more than worldwide births and deaths. These are terrible numbers if one considers the ramifications for humankinds future. Nearly 25% of the population that was supposed to be born in the last 40 years has been aborted. Life in the womb is the most hazardous place for a child; a developing child before their birth. Over 61 million abortions since Roe v. Wade. Does a baby get human rights, or do they have to be cognizant of their own existence for this to be applied? We are being steered toward judgment because most politicians who introduce and pass laws on this no nothing about morality, ethics, science or Gods Word. This is an issue that God is going to have to directly confront this generation and the Church with. Some examples, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) signed legislation that repeals the state’s last pro-life law by allowing minor girls to obtain abortions without their parents’ knowledge. A Virginia Democrat promoted her bill removing all restrictions on late-term abortion, even as the woman is dilating (bill 2491 puts to death a baby about to be birthed) On the other hand there are those like Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) that signs a law that requires doctors to try to save the life of a baby who is born alive after an attempted abortion or face criminal charges. In the new health plans introduced, they want everyone to pay for abortion, forcing people who are aghast at this to support their unborn homicide. When a society promotes abortion, it also endorses the immorality people participate in to arrive at this decision. They become accustom to this option, it is giving them an excuse, a way out. Worse, it eliminates any change to occur in the society’s accepted wrong behavior. The world has no principles on these matters, and this contributes to a growing lawlessness. The world system is opposed to God, it is an enemy of God’s ways, not considering the consequences for their actions. But even if God is not included it goes against the natural law of humanity. The immediate sexual pleasure overrules anticipating an inconvenient pregnancy. 10% of women live with a man unmarried, however women who are not married account for 25% of abortions. 23% who get pregnant say they can’t afford a child; 25% say they are not ready to have a child; 19% are done having children and do not want another. Then there are those who do not want to raise a child as a single mother (8%). The so called health problems of the mother or fetus fall below 4%, not a major factor. Those aborted in 2016 - 874,100; in 2017-862,000. Planned Parenthood committed more abortions in 2019 than ever before. The 2019 annual report , shows they aborted 345,672 unborn babies — an increase of 3.88% over the year prior. Guttmacher institute reports that the District of Columbia has the highest abortion rate in America 5,820 abortions in 2014, about 38% of total pregnancies. Actually these are on the low end of calculations. The total number of abortions in the U.S. 1973-2018: 61.8 million + have met death before they were born.
With the exception of Florida, all are Democratic run states. As of September 1, 2021, there were 39 states that had released abortion statistics for 2019. Seventeen states reported a decline in abortions from 2018, while 21 states reported their abortions increased. Only 39 states currently enforce parental consent or notification laws for minors seeking an abortion:AL,AK,AR,AZ,CO,DE,FL,GA,IA, ID, IL , IN,KS,KY, LA, MA , MD,MI,MN,MO, MS , MT, NC , ND , NE, NH , OH, OK, PA , RI , SC , SD , TN , TX,UT,VA, WI, WV , and WY. Here are a few of the states that have gone up; Arizona up 5.3; Delaware 23.3; Georgia 7.4; Iowa 25.2; Kentucky 14.4; s. Carolina 9.8; Florida 2.4. Those in the minus category Alabama down 7.3; Indiana 5.0; Missouri 49.9. NY and California are among those not reported. Those who want the right to choose another person’s death over life. With abortion as a way of life (actually death), not all lives matter in our day, especially babies in the womb. My body my choice is ignored for a vaccine. It is especially applied to abortions for women (soon to include men as they too can now get pregnant! So we are told) The issue is life or death for those who do not Have a voice on their own behalf. God says “ He who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death." (Prov. 8:36) The simple interpretation --if you love death it is because you hate God. Choosing the death of the innocent child for the mistake of your convenience proves you hate God, you are devoted to deaths outcome under the disguise of choice. There is no reason for one to continue being guilty of this, because they can change. As believers we should know “ to refuse the evil and choose the good” (Isa. 7:15). This may not be an easy decision for some but easy or not, it is still the right decision. Abortion robs the child of the gift of life more than those killed in battle. This has led to a breakdown of society and the worth of human life has been diminished. If continued we will come to the point of spiraling down to the very bottom of humanity so fast it will make our heads spin. Our choices we make are God given, because humanity is made in the image and likeness of God, both men and women when formed have a conscience. It is our sin nature that has corrupted us from making good choices. Solomon once the wisest man in the world wrote Ecclesiastes 11:5 “ you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything.” Going back to the beginning of this article, on Jesus being born. Thank God he was not aborted, for without him we would not know the meaning of life.
