Joel Osteen's church is full of surprises Lakewood Church was burglarized of $600K reported on March 9, 2014. Pastor Joel Osteen who teaches on the power of positive speaking and materialization never was able to get the money back after it went missing. 7 years later…. A plumber reportedly found envelops of cash and checks in the bathroom wall of Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston, seven years ago $600,000 was reported stolen from a church safe. Which led to the find on November 10, 2021the Houston Chronicle reported. The plumber recently called the Morning Bullpen radio show on 100.3 The Bull to share the story of this discovery. The plumber told the host of the show he was called in to repair a toilet in the church. “There was a loose toilet in the wall, and we removed the tile,” the caller told the show on Thursday, per KPRC. “We went to go remove the toilet, and I moved some insulation away and about 500 envelopes fell out of the wall…” he then notified the church’s maintenance supervisor and turned the envelopes in. What is strange is that checks this late afterwards would not be viable, however this was all part of what was missing including money orders. Someone put them there but never went back to retrieve them. How is that possible, and how did they put it in the wall? this is really strange, did somone want the church to get investigated? The Houston Police Department is still investigating the seven-year-old case with a $25,000 reward. |
