Who is being regathered into the land, Jews or Edomites? Is God regathering people into the land of Israel from all over the world that are NOT his people? There is a group (called the anti's of the bible and Israel) that says the Jews are really Edomites, this nonsense is said to demonize all the Jews. Claiming all the evil in the world is being done by the Jews, as if Gentiles have nothing to do with any evil. Evil can come from all types of people in every country and every religion. These false arguments (they call proof) are endless and are posted all over social media. The main false one used is that Jews are really Edomites, who are the people in Israel. Old Testament Scriptures are ripped out of their context, when and if they are used. The bible teaches that God disciplined Israel a number of times by removing them from the land, having them taken into captivity. That the Jewish people today are not Israelites and are cursed ... that Jews are no longer the people of the covenant? Says who? Dustin Nemos, is one who is trying to make himself the tip of the spear of the modern anti-Israel/ Jew movement. Where does all this really come from? The original replacement theologian Augustine, “we are Israel, the seed of Abraham … The Christian people then is rather Israel … But that multitude of Jews… for the pleasures of the flesh sold their birthright, so that they belonged not to Jacob, but rather to Esau.” (Expositions on the Book of Psalms by Saint Augustine) This was adopted by the Roman Catholic church in the 400's, a church that installed Popes over the centuries as earthly replacements for Christ being over the Church, (using Peter as the model, because of their carnal understanding of Scripture). They claim the Jews, those in Israel at the time of Jesus ALL rejected the Messiah, when this is not true and proven in the Scriptures that many Jews believed (thousands on Pentecost and after, even some Pharisees) They leave out the fact that these same people in the last days would be drawn from all over the world back into their land, by God who scattered them. He says, dozens of times in the Bible, I will gather MY people; not another people. The majority of Jews in Israel today are of the 12 tribes of Israel whom the Lord promised He would bring back into the land. we may not know the tribe they belong to but God does. They would come back into the land primarily as secular Jews, nonbelievers; even in God (from of over 180 nations.) The Jewish people had to be in Israel for the first coming of Jesus and, they have to be in Israel for the return (second coming). It is God's promise to them that they will be drawn back into the land of their fore-fathers of whom the covenant was given, coming from the four corners of the earth and that they would become a stumbling Stone to the entire world. In this time of the latter days when they go through the tribulation (the time of Jacob’s trouble). under a world leader that has only plans of destruction, though he speaks of peace. He will gather all the armies of the world around them (Zech.12), they will cry out to the Messiah and He will deliver them from (His,) and their enemies. So all of Israel at that time will be saved as Paul writes (Rom.11) Those that we now see drawn back into the land in the last days - are indeed His People! And God proclaims that if you bless them that you will be blessed and if you curse them you will be cursed (Gen.12:1-3)… If you disagree your argument is with God YHWH. God refers to Himself as “the God of Israel” more than any other description of any other people. Deut. 32:9 “For the LORD's portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance” Isa. 19:25 “Israel My inheritance.” Ps. 78:71 “shepherd Jacob His people, And Israel His inheritance.” Jer. 10:16 Israel is the tribe of His inheritance.” Jer. 51:19 And Israel is the tribe of His inheritance.” Not one tribe (Judah) as Nemos claims, but all 12. The question that needs to be answered is, who is Israel today? The Scripture tells us these are the same people today that God said in the past, Ps. 94:14 “for the LORD will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.” This is exactly what Paul says in Rom.11. God says his inheritance is Israel, He said he would bring them into the land in the last days as part of the covenant promise he made. If they are not being gathered into the land that is called Israel (as it was in the past), then who is being gathered? Nemos says, “Jews are not Israelites, they are Edomites. Edomite Jew of the house of Esau from Idumea….” He argument is against the word, “Just because it says ‘JEWS’ in your KJV Bible and other versions, does not mean that the Jews are the people of the Bible, because they are not. You are being deceived by changes made to scripture.” What he does is blame the Jews for changing the Word, speaking in generalities without any evidence he machine guns accusations. The fact is, the Jews preserved the Word throughout history. What he is doing along with his colleagues of destruction is bringing doubt to God’s Word being true. EDOMITES We are being told by certain deniers of prophecy that the Jews are actually Edomites. The Bible says it was Esau that sold his birthright, not Jacob, nor his seed. We find this reversal of the Jews being called Edomites a completely false argument. These broadbrush accusations to make them all guilty have been done before. Their argument is asinine, except for the fact that it is insidious, vindictive, and dangerous to the Jews, the Church and the world. They are representative rabble-rousers for the one who is to come that will sign a false treaty with Israel. How does Nemos know that everyone that calls themselves Jewish is not a Hebrew or Israelite? When did the Edomites become the Jews according to these men? The 12 tribes were dispersed in Asia according to James and Peter. Yet they claim the Jews were Edomites even in Jesus' day. Nemos claims the Jews tampered with the bible, changed the Bibles words, they inserted the word Jew into the Bible translations in the 18th century AD. (or earlier, depending on their point). By whom? Where are the manuscripts that were changed? Do they prove the changes from the prior manuscripts or just speak ad hominem attacks to make accusations? The fact is, they can’t prove when or by whom, because it did not happen as they describe. This is an absurd statement showing dishonesty, and terrible research, regardless of his bragging about how well he researches subjects. He also believes there are far more than 66 books to the Bible, pointing to the Ethiopean Bible and “I consider the Dead Sea Scrolls to be scriptural” (Interview with Mike Adams Nov.2, 2024). Nemos says in this same interview, while comparing the Koran to the Bible “the Bible, the full Bible Old and New Testament are the untouchable, incorruptible Word of God,” but he goes on to say it is corrupted by the Jews in his various statements elsewhere. The Jews are identified as Hebrews, the word is used 38 times in the Old Testament, 14 times in the New Testament. The word Jew is in the Hebrew vernacular of Yehudi, it means the same thing. But these people argue that all the Jews are strictly Edomites, making them the majority of Jewry today, when Edomites are a very few. The word "Jew" is the common English term. The Old English Iudea, comes fom the Latin word Iudaeus. Which is transliterated from Yehudi in the Hebrew. the word Jews are used in Luke 7:3- Ioudaíoon. In Luke 23:3-4 Pilate asks Jesus, Are You the King of the Jews (Ioudaíoon)?" Jesus’ answer, "It is as you say." Jesus is saying he is Israel’s king, Nemos is calling them Edomites. Jesus is not the king of Edom(ites), nor is he king of one tribe (Judah, but all 12, the nation of Israel. Jews belong to a nation called Israel, who were originally called the Hebrews (through Abraham). No one is called a Hebrew in the New Testament except when Paul used it for himself and the nation. And it is used in Acts 6:1, as the disciples multiplied, there arose a murmuring against the Hebrews by the Hellenists.” From a trustworthy source: “The Edomites were then incorporated into the Jewish nation, and the whole province was often termed by Greek and Roman writers “Idumaea.” Immediately before the siege of Jerusalem by Titus, twenty thousand Idumaeans were admitted to the Holy City, which they filled with robbery and bloodshed. From this time, the Edomites, as a separate people, disappear from the pages of history.” (Ungers Bible dictionary) Let’s settle this matter with the Scripture itself, for all Scripture is inspired by God, it’s called the Word of truth, which means this is what God has to say on all this matter. First, after his birth “wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, asking, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews” (Matt. 2:1-2). Here it is mentioned Jesus is their king; of the Jews. A king can only come from his brethren according to Moses (confirmed in Acts 3:22). Is Jesus king of the Edomites? What was said near the beginning is also said at the end. Luke 23:38-39 “And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.” So any argument of theirs is going against the Scripture, which makes it apparent they do not believe it. Paul was from the tribe of Benjamin, who stated in 2 Cor. 11:22, “Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I.” Paul who calls himself a Hebrew, an Israelite, and also calls himself a Jew in Acts 21:39; being born a Jew, Acts 22:3. This proves Paul understood all three terms identify the same people at the time of Jesus. John, an Israelite, refers to the nation and Jesus as Jews. What does Jesus say in the Word of God? In John 3:1-2, Jesus speaks to “A Pharisee named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night...”Jesus says he is the ruler of the Jews? V.10 Jesus answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, not know these things? Jesus affirms Jews are of Israel by calling this Pharisee a Jew, a teacher of Israel. Mr. Nemos and others argue from their prejudice, not from the actual Scripture. They pick and choose whom to quote only if it will further their agenda. For example, He argues all Jews are inhuman, Nephilim, that they are liars (among calling them every name he possibly can to dehumanize them). Yet he quotes Arthur Koestler's book the 13 th Tribe. Koestler was a Jew, (and a communist), he uses him to prove Jews are Edomites from Esau (even though his book is not accepted by most scholars.) Nemos teaches “Seir was a mountain range sought of the Dead Sea and was also known as the ‘land of Edom’ (Genesis 36:21). The Seir mountains were the home of the Edomites for nearly a millennium.” So were the Essenes Edomites too? Because Nemos approves of their Dead Sea scrolls… They lack consistency and logical arguments. What God has done and is doing Jeremiah 31:31 –the Lord made a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Juda h," which is in effect today for the Gentiles to be saved through Israel. He also promised in Jeremiah 33:7 "And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return , and will build them, as at the first." Israel / the Jewish people, have been removed from the land a number of times. These times of discipline were temporary, for they were brought back. Deuteronomy 4:27, 28:64a ,32:26; Zech. 36:19 are few scriptures on their being scattered. This means after 70 AD when they were dispersed until 1948,they are being brought back as God had spoken in Scripture. Ezekiel 37:15-28 speaks of the future, the two sticks are brought together; Verse 19 - "Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand." Isaiah 11:12 "And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth." Jeremiah 3:18 " In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers." Jeremiah 50:4 "In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God." Deut. 30:3: “He will gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you”V.5 “And the LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it.” (Lev. 25:38) God said he would regather HIS PEOPLE in the last days, and this is what we see today, or, he has lied and is not regathering his people as these anti-Semites are claiming (Exod. 6:8; Deut. 30:3,5; Isa. 43:5, 65:9 Jer.29:14, 30:18, 31:8; Zech. 8:8.) God has promised in Isaiah 54:10-11 "For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed. ” There are literally hundreds of Scriptures that promise this, repeated over and over God says, “ Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, to which they are gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land (Ezek. 37:21,36:24: Jer. 30:18, 31:8; Isa.43:5.) Deut. 4:30-31 “ in the latter days, you will return to the LORD your God and listen to His voice. For the Lord your God is a compassionate God; He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.” Gn. 12:1-4 gives the provisions of the Abrahamic Covenant that continues to his offspring, to Isaac, to Jacob, to their offspring. This promise has not been rescinded, it is still in effect today. God has promised to Abraham and to his offspring, (nearly 2,000 years before Christ) a land, and a nation. Declaring, “And I will bless them that bless you and curse him that curses you.” Israel cannot be cursed or removed in God’s eyes, in fact, they are called “the apple of his eye” (Gn. 32:10; Zech.2:8). Israel is the focus of God’s vision. Through the prophet Zechariah God states that, “he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of [God's] eye” (Zech. 2:8). God warns the nations and people on what they say or do to Israel, will result in blessing or cursing to them To say that the majority of Jewish people are not Hebrew, Israelites is to curse them. Which means what according to Gn.12? You don’t want to provoke God whose eye is focused on Israel. When anyone says all the Jews today are actually Edomites, its from a complete ignorance of the Bible, and history. They are speaking from prejudice and animosity. You cannot change the Scriptures. The Jews are now being brought into the land (most who are currently secular, not religious) will face the time of JACOB’S trouble, called the tribulation; a time of testing upon the whole world (Rv.3), not just Israel. The Seir mountains the home of the Edomites for nearly a millennium, it is mentioned 60 times in the Bible. Esau received Mount Seir as an inheritance, but Jacob (whose name was changed to Israel) was given the Promised Land. The Edomites are not spoken of in all the New Testament. The last time they are mentioned as a people is in Malachi 1:1-5 The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi. " I have loved you," says the LORD."Yet you say, 'In what way have You loved us?' Was not Esau Jacob's brother? "Says the LORD." Yet Jacob I have loved; But Esau I have hated, And laid waste his mountains and his heritage For the jackals of the wilderness." The Lord says of Edom who say of themselves, we will return and build the desolate places," Thus says the LORD of hosts: "They may build, but I will throw down; They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness, And the people against whom the LORD will have indignation forever. Your eyes shall see, And you shall say, 'The LORD is magnified beyond the border of Israel” (Ezekiel 25:13, 35:7; Isaiah 34; Jeremiah 49; Obadiah 18). Nowhere does the Bible speak of Edomites becoming a majority, disguising themselves as Jews and put in charge of the reborn land of Israel. Who is YHWH bringing into the land called Israel from all over the world? God has told us he will gather HIS people into the land in the latter days, not his people’s enemies. Has God made a mistake, has God been deceived? Where does it say the land will be taken over by counterfeits called Jews who are not Israelites? Clearly the majority of the Jews today do not know their own Scriptures , (Stan Telchin explains this in his testimony). They are entrenched in the Talmud which has but a few statements of Biblical truth from the commentators. They learn more from the rabbis, which is removing them from hearing God’s actual word that would lead them to know the Messiah and nurture a relationship. Satan knows once the temple is commenced his time is short, he is doing all he can to turn people against God’s covenant people, the Jews. He has his disciples of division everywhere. Nemos and his comrades are just some of these. Scripture states, We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem; not for their destruction. Yet Nemos suggests “if it were me I would unite the world against Israel and take it out…”(Nemos' interview with Mike Adams Nov.2, 2024) Who wants Israel destroyed? Satan! We (who believe) are instructed to Pray for peace. You either accept the Bible and God's covenant of Gn.12 (found in Jer.31:31; Heb.8:8) that is still in effect, or you are against it. If you do not accept it, you become an enemy of God, and God is not mocked, he is for his people Israel, and He will come against those who oppose them.
