The Gospel that is not the good news

Another gospel that cannot save

As we look further into the teachings of the former Q leader, now bible teacher and pursuer of history and mysteries we find his Christian teaching tied up in knots.

Dustin Nemos says, “ We see that most of the ‘church’ denominations teach basically the same thing. That is: Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died, was buried, and was resurrected on the third day according to the scriptures.”

“God loved the whole world, so He gave His Son so that everyone who believes in Him can have eternal life.”

“The church was commissioned to bring this news to the whole world.”

“If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, then you will be saved.”

“By grace we are saved through faith, because it is the gift of God.” “All you have to do is just believe.”

Clearly this is exactly what the Bible says, unless you want to rearrange the words to mean something else. Which is what the non - believers in the gospel of Christ and false teachers of Christ do. Unfortunately, this is also what Dustin Nemos does. No matter what he says right, by his reinterpretations he challenges the Word that explains how salvation is actually obtained.

From Nemo’s true gospel page on: theserapeum website

What if I told you that the Gospel is not about ‘personal salvation’?

What if I told you that the Gospel is not for everyone?

What if I told you that Jesus did not die for everyone?

What if I told you that redemption, salvation, and eternal life is not for everyone?

What if I told you that the Gospel is not what the ‘churches’ are teaching it is?

What if I told you that the Old Testament and the New Testament are not two different Covenants?

What if I told you that all races did not come from Adam, or Noah’s three sons?

What if I told you that the Jews are not Israelites?

What if I told you that there is a difference between mankind and humankind and that there is no brotherhood of all races?

What if I told you that you have been believing in another gospel?

His ‘what if’s’ all challenge the Word of God, which he must distort or deny to arrive at his conclusions. Mr. Nemos does not believe that (any?) churches have the teachings of Christ. Saying they all believe the same things ‘that are not true.’ He has blinded himself to the Word that says to ‘believe’ to be saved, which is used well over 200 times connected to our personal salvation. That is what is meant by exercising faith, that has one repent, which is an individuals choice when we hear the gospel.

Even though he might say or put down on paper portions of the gospel, his writings reveal that he does not believe the Bibles gospel that the church has taught from the Scripture is true, which means he has another.

He claims the church that teaches from the Scripture does not havethe gospel (in his example), it’s his interpretation of believing that is wrong. The word belief (believe) means to have faith, to trust in the Word on what Christ did for you.

Eph. 1:13 “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

Belief is our ‘faith response’ TO receive the gospel message as taught by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; which is the New Covenant.

Jesus said to believe on him, even to his own. Which also means to believe on His Word. John 5:46-6:1 “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?" His statements of rebuke were almost always to the religious leaders who had people follow their own traditions instead of Moses’ teaching.

Mr. Nemos states,“The True Gospel of Yeshuah –[IS] Not Personal Salvation.” It's NOT?

He states further states that, “the churches’ (which exclude himself) basically teach that the gospel is about ‘personal salvation’ and that when you believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died on the cross, was buried in a tomb, and rose from the dead the third day, and when you recite the verses Paul wrote in Romans and 1st and 2nd Corinthians, then you are ‘saved’ and are granted eternal life. This is not what the Gospel is .It’s about turning back to YHWH’s ways and sinning “no more” and spreading that message to others. Christ Yeshuah died to write the law that would never pass until heaven and earth passed on your heart.”

Eph. 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith , and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”(yourselves is connected to ones works).Saved through faithis past tense, and faith is not works (Gal.2:16; 3:10). (By faith Eph.3:17, compare to Gal.3:2).

Paul says this is the gospel, he says it is not! Contrary to Nemos’ emphasis on the law, thisis the opposite of what the Gospel is.

Nemos is presenting salvation with and by the law, keeping the law is salvation by works, NOT faith. And he shows that he does not understand what faith is when he denies the command to “believe.”

He is trying to bring you back under the law of the Old covenant. Paul taught of Jesus, “through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Himeveryone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses” (Acts 13:38-39).

Nemos is telling us we sin no more, that is not what the Scripture says.Part of what the gospel does to a regenerate person is to sin less, to have control, but NO ONE stops sinning; NO ONE! We know this because Paul says he did not and he is the one teaching on this. The apostle John speaking for God agrees. John says that God calls you a liar, “If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 Jn. 1:8).

Paul says in Rom. 3:31 “the law is not made void through faith, it is established.”

In Heb. 4:2-3 the author speaks of the gospel; “but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.’ Which gives the rest God has promised his people.

In Heb. 6:1-2 the author speaks of teaching the elementary principles, stating, “let us go on to perfection  (maturity), not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.”In other words, FAITH is foundational, if you do not exercise it, live by it, you cannot be saved by the gospel.

Nemos says “We believe in Salvation through grace by faith, but that “faith without works is dead” and that if we willingly reject His law, He will reject us. We keep the Laws, and the Moedim (Feastdays ).”

Yes, faith without works is dead, but He apparently does not understand faith is not a work, or of the law. Living by faith produces works. In other words you must have faith first to produce works pleasing to God.

Does Nemos keep the law and feast days? Does he travel to Jerusalem 3 times a year for the feast days when there is no temple to go to? Exactly where does the New Testament require the feast days to be kept? It doesn’t.

Dustin Nemos also says, “Christ Yeshuah died to write the law that would never pass until heaven and earth passed on your heart.” We have no idea what he means by this, he seems to be mixing, conflating, and confusing scripture out of context in order to make himself sound like a Bible teacher who understands Scripture. Which, unfortunately, the opposite is true.

Again, Biblically, being in Christ we do not go back and live under the Law of Moses, but rather, to live free from the law by grace. Rom. 6:14-15 “sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.” Rom 7:4 “you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ.”One can read all of Romans and Galatians to understand this shift to new covenant living.

Nemos is basically saying that you can believe, but it is necessary to practice the Old Testament Law. The book of Galatians addresses the error of the Judaizers of whom Paul said “knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus.” (Galat. 2:16) Apparently he does not know, or he does not care.

The Bible asks us to believe but this believing is not a general term. ‘Beliefs’ are not the same as Faith. Anyone can ‘believe’ in something, and that something may or may not be true. But faith is more than belief, it carries inherently within it a trust, a trust in God's Word being true above all other things. We are trusting in the truth.

The Mosaic Covenant was conditional and was temporary, replaced by the new covenant (It is the Abrahamic Covenant that he denies that is unconditional and eternal.)

Paul said this was the gospel he preached and the apostles agreed with him. 1 Cor. 15:1-4 “I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved , if you hold fast that word which I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

So what exactly does Mr. Nemos say that agrees with the apostles, or with Paul’s statement?

He does not believe what Paul taught in Rom. 10:4 “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”Meaning having faith in Christ Jesus and what he did.

Rom. 10:9-12 “ if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." (The apostle Paul is quoting Joel 2:32).

Mr. Nemos does not believe that Jesus is God in the Flesh, which is the only way to be saved from sin, spiritual death, hell, and the Lake of Fire. Which only proves one cannot understand the Bible by their intelligence.

While Nemos tries to dress up his argument in Christian jargon, with inaccurate interpretations and history, he is rearranging these teachings as chairs on his own Titanic.

He states, actually he is accusing, “ The ‘churches’ have destroyed Christianity. They have created, taught, and repeated the same false doctrine since the 1800’s. They have taught you to be idle by ‘just believing’. They have replaced the True Gospel with a False Gospel that is not found in scripture.”

First,Iwill say, one needs to be more careful in their accusations and qualify this kind of statement. It is true that there are ‘some churches’ that fit his description, but he insinuates ALL (the majority) the Christian churches in the world are like this, and this is NOT true.1 John 2:21 “ no lie is of the truth” He makes the true church like the cults, and that only he has the way to salvation; which he doesn’t.

It is the cults that do this (destroy Christianity), they are those who do not agree with the truth. 1 John 2:19 “ They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us” 1 John 4:6 “We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”They hear us because we are speaking the truth, speaking the Word accurately.

We speak the true gospel in the Scripture and have seen lives changed. And this gospel has the person of Christ as God sent from heaven to become a man. 1 John 5:1 “Whoever believesthat Jesus is the Christ is born of God.”Christ- Messiah is God that became man.

Our believing ‘does not change the gospel,’ the message of salvation. The gospel is eternal. We teach to have faith, which is more than just believing, it means to wholeheartedly trust in Christ's work. To put one’s full weight on what is spoken, on what He did as the gospel message. The crucifixion and resurrection, both, AND, this most importantly includes who He is that died for you. For if he is only man, then you do not have salvation (which is what Nemos believes).

Believing the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ changes us, we beciome his workmanship, it is process. As we believe, (the biblical way through faith (Gal.2:16), we are recipients of God’s gift of salvation to us PERSONALLY. Each of us make are to make a decision, it is God’s provision of Salvation. Anyone who comes up with another way, a different concept is anathema.

We see examples of salvation made clear all through the Scripture. In Acts 16:30-31 " Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved."

Was Paul lying when he wrote Rom. 10:9 “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”That is Individually. Acts 2:21 “whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved,” that is individually.

Jesus is introduced as the lamb who takes away our sin, which the people in the Old Testament sacrificed individually for. Its all an individuals choice.

Nemos denies all this and says, “You can examine the evidence. You can learn the truth. You can know the real Jesus. You can know the True Gospel that is Never Told in the ‘churches’ . You can learn who you really are and Whose you are.”

His accusation of the Church is 100%UNTRUE,Jesus is introduced as the lamb who takes away the sins of the world. The Apostles were given the mandate to preach the gospel to all people throughout the entire world (Jn. 1:29, also see Lk.8:12; Jn.5:34, 10:9).Jesus commissioned The Apostles to write to the churches the gospel in order that as many as possible would be able to enter the Kingdom of God (Acts 2:21, 4:12, 11:14,16:30). Using terms like Never told in churchis a bold-faced false accusation. True biblical believers in Jesus preach the Biblical gospel today. Nemos is rejecting the true church to build his own religion, gathering followers after himself by claiming he knows the true way, at the same time rejecting being part of God’s Church that continues today from the apostles, those who believe in the Son of God, who is God incarnated as man, in the person of Jesus.

Jesus said, “ unless you believe I AM, (God’s eternal name Ex.3, who is The Creator of Life, the Savior of the World) you will die in your sins. ” Nemos rejects these words (and others) that declare His deity. If Jesus was only a man, then nobody will ever be able to be saved, and we are all lost, and all without hope. According to the Bible Jesus is the only one who raised His own body after he died, which proves He is God (Jn.2:19).

Who are you really? A sinner; like all mankind. One must believe the correct gospel to be “in Christ.” We are all adopted as children, both Jews and Gentiles, although the Jew who ‘believes the gospel’ is a natural branch in the covenant, and a Gentile is a wild branch grafted in.

Nemos actually states, “Jesus did not spend His time teaching ‘personal salvation’. He didn’t even mention it once, and He only mentioned ‘salvation’ two times. He mentioned the Kingdom about 115 times.”

This is a specious argument and is also UNTRUE.

Nemos instead says, “… Jesus Christ taught Kingdom theology, not ‘personal ‘salvation.”

What he believes is that Jesus taught the man-made teaching of Kingdom now theology, and not the gift of personal salvation offered to all. So why did Jesus often ask individual persons if they believed what he said to be saved?

“The ‘churches’ teach that the Gospel is about the work of Jesus for the ‘church’ and that it is a New Testament Covenant.”

Yes, the gospel is the New Covenant. Not sure where he is learning this, but he is defining this wrong. The gospel is for the unsaved --to be saved; then they become the Church.

Jesus said you cannot see the kingdom unless you are born again. We are told how this takes place in John 3:4-6 when Nicodemus asked Jesus a questionon being born again. Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”That being born of flesh is not the same as being “born of the Spirit (see Lk.8:12; Jn.5:34,10:9)Jesus commissioned his disciples, who became the apostles to give the gospel so one can enter the kingdom spoken in Act 2:21, 4:12, 11:14,16:30; Rom.10:9.

He also falsely claims,“Scripture teaches that the Gospel is about the work of Jesus for the Adamic race of the children of Jacob Israel and is a racial covenant theology, a kingdom theology, and began from Genesis and goes throughout the whole bible to Revelation.”

This is another example of how Nemos jumbles and bumbles the Scriptures.

The truth, is that the Gospel is for a multi-racial world promised to all nations in Gn.12:3, “In you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”As inTitus 2:11-12, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.”

He conveys his misunderstanding; the Work of Christ is for the entire World. “for God so loved the world “(Jn.3:16). The gospel is offered to all who are condemned, John 3:18 “he who does not believe is condemned already.”The covenant is offered to everyone, it came through Israel, to the Jews and then to the Gentiles (Jer.31:31).

Jesus invited everyone, saying, “believe” and “Follow Me” over and over again, Jesus calls out to the entire World to follow Him. And warned all mankind, all of us as individuals will stand before him, as the Lord in judgment.

He confuses this more by stating, “ The OT is not a separate book or covenant from the NT. It’s all one covenant with the same people. The only change from the OT to the NT the priesthood, Christ was sacrificed and was risen and became our High Priest.”

No, it is not one covenant, even the term ‘new covenant’ shows it is different. Don’t let him confuse you. God says he will make another covenant. Heb.8:8 quotes Jer 31:31-32 "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah -- not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke” ( see also 2 cor.3:6 Heb.9:15, 23:24)

This man is intentionally distorting the Scripture because he has an agenda.

Nemos says, “The ekklesia is not a building, or a group of denominational believers.” (we agree with this.) “The ekklesia is an Israelite who is called out of ignorance and given the gift of understanding and lives according to the Word”(We DO NOT agree with this.)”The body of Christ is the assembly, or congregation, of called-out Israelites”(We DO NOT agree with this.) “It’s a condition you embody, and your actions edify and prepares for the kingdom as it is to come in glory.”(We DO NOT agree with this either, because this is not what the Bible teaches).

This is nothing more than the racist teachings of replacement theology. All believers are not Israelites unless they are of the lineage of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Apparently, he thinks he is an Israelite. Gentiles do not become Israelites/Hebrews. This is the replacement teaching the Roman Catholic taught, codified by Constantine and is not sound doctrine but confusion. Gentiles, (non-Jews) do not become Israelites. Wild branches do not become Natural branches; they are grafted into the covenant for blessing (Rom.11). This would be saying one is Jew when he is not, which is what Rv.2 addresses as being the Synagogue of satan.

“If you are a ‘church-goer’, or you subscribe to any of the 33k denominations of churchianity, then you are not the ekklesia. You are still deceived and lost. This is also why you identify as a Gentile, and why you worship a Jewish Jesus.”

Again Nemos jumbles and bumbles the Scripture. Jesus is from the Lineage of David and he is a Jew, who is a Hebrew, an Israelite. Speaking of David “From this man's seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior—Jesus” (Acts 13:23 ) Yet he “A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles ,And the glory of Your people Israel."Luke 2:32) Both.

He declares “The ‘churches’ have everything backward.” No, Mr. Nemos you have things backwards, and inside out. You aretaking peoplefrom the narrow road off a cliff. The complete opposite is true. Jesus is a Jew, Mary was of Jewish (Hebrew) descent, the genealogies prove this or Jesus could not be qualified to be the messiah unless he was from King David, the king over Israel.

You have become a judge over every person’s decision who embraced the true gospel of God that alone puts them in the body of Christ, the Church. Who are you to judge everyone like this, when only God can? Claiming All the church, denominational (or not) is deceived and lost? His statements on ALL the church shows he is not part of the church, nor wants to be. He and others have invented devious devilish doctrines in place of God’s truth!

As far as I’m concerned Dustin Nemos is utterly incapable of interpreting God’s Word correctly, and certainly should not be judging the lives and hearts of ALL the other people in the Church today and throughout history. According to the Bible, only God fully knows who is his, and only he is able to Judge the intent of the human heart of man.

We can know who is of God by their agreement with the Word, for they have been born through the Word (1 Pt.1:23), that is the truth.
