The newest book that reveals the secrets of the Bible It was bad enough what Joe Kovacs wrote in his previous books, showing he misunderstands the Bible in crucial core teachings. A number of years ago he came out with The Divine Secret: The Awesome and Untold Truth About Your Phenomenal Destiny. You can say this book is based on that concept of unwrapping secret messages, (symbolism parables) in all the stories of the Bible much like Rosicrucians do. He continues to makes himself an expert at unique bible interpretations, stating “ Yes, God is indeed a family. Jesus is the Word and He’s one member of the God family, and God the Father is yet another member of that same God family. It may sound strange to your ears to hear about the God family, but the bible itself, using the exact phrase, states that God is a family in heaven. ” (Kovacs, The Divine Secret, p.24). A family has to do with physical relations of flesh and blood. The body of Christ has to do with the members of the church, our being his physical representation on earth. “ What are the children of God? They’re Gods. They’re going to be in the God family. (The Journal, Issue No. 150, 7/27/12) we’re actually created in the God kind.” (Journal Issue No. 150 July 27, 2012) Those who challenged him on the bible --- doesn’t say you are gods. Well a matter of fact it does, twice. They all say you are gods, this is what we are. It is the Devil that wants man to be called ‘gods’.We are not gods for there is ONLY ONE God, that’s what God says. To understand what he means “he claimed this is our ‘divine destiny’ We will no longer be human beings but we will be among the eloheem of the Bible. The bible says we are all eloheem. (Palace radio Interview) underline mine Speaking of Jesus and salvation “ examining the hearts and minds of His own children and studying their actions to determine who is worthy of the astonishing reward of eternal life as members of God’s very own family .” Is Eternal life a reward? No, the Bible says it is gift, received by those who believe, exercise faith in the gospel. Kovacs is an anti-Trinity promoted by Joseph Farrah of World Net Daily. He teaches “God looks like us, and we look like God” “God has a head, fingers, feet, legs, hands, eyes …” Which agrees with the great false prophet William Branham and Joseph smith and the prophets of Mormonism. He even says ‘we'll be ruling from Christ's throne. This is exactly what the Bible says and it calls us the children of God. God is having children. God is reproducing Himself after the God kind ."(this is posted on WND.com Kovacs has a propensity to misread and misinterpret Scripture to fit his aberrant (deeper) conclusions; there are those that identify what is said as Hebert Armstrong doctrines ( https://goo.gl/m1zk1C ). I think it is far more serious. Now that we know he is teaching an Occultic (secret), Gnostic view including word faith concepts, we look at how he is advertising his newest book. His new book ranks #1 in "Musical Philosophy & Social Aspects" Spiritual Self-Help on Amazon. “Reaching God speed” is almost here, get your wallet out. He claims his book “it reveals the secret of everything, which means not just from the Word, the Bibles point of understanding… on ‘everything’. What is in the Bible and life he claims to unlock. The hidden secrets of God are now revealed (these are those God says are not for man but held by him kept hidden - Deut.29:29), Kovacs found them. His Ad asks, “Has the divine code finally been cracked? Which tells me this is not of God at all, especially with this kind of boasting and merchandising. Is there a divine code hidden in such a way that any man can ‘crack the code?’ If you are using Gnosticism there certainly is. " The secrets become revealed when we make the jump from using our five physical senses, or 'human speed,' to applying the very Spirit of God Himself, reaching what I call 'God speed, '" says Kovacs. Can anyone ‘apply the Spirit of God’? Exactly where is ‘God speed’ mentioned. In old-fashioned terms it wished one success in their endeavor, a term meaning goodwill, blessing as found in (2 John 1:1). But this is not what he means, this is not found by word, nor is it found by concept. The book opens with an in-depth probe of the most popular songs of all time on the radio, revealing the hidden messages they're all voicing," Kovacs describes this further “ there is something extremely important we've all been missing. It holds the key to everything good-the key to life, success, happiness, peace of mind, and understanding beyond our wildest imagination. It's perhaps the best-kept secret in the history of mankind and it packs a staggering, invigorating message that can change your life for the better-improving understanding, eliminating anxiety, and helping to extend your living years indefinitely. All we have to do is open our eyes and ears. it is the means by which we can truly decipher virtually everything with which we're presented in life. It provides the ability to make the unseen visible, the unheard audible , and the complex simple. It carries the secret message on every frequency and every wavelength. It is a level of understanding that operates much faster than human speed. It's infinitely quick and alive. It's present in our favorite songs and movies, the stories we tell our children, and even in every commercial campaign! The secret is broadcast in famous news stories including the coronavirus pandemic, the sinking of the Titanic, or the collapse of the World Trade Center on 9/11. It's in ordinary life activities such as breathing, sleeping, waking up, traveling, sex, and getting married and changing one's name. Wow, Kovacs is presenting himself like a spiritual Einstein who has revealed ‘what God says in everything?’ This means we can truly decipher virtually everything presented in life. This God speed he claims ‘ provides the ability to make the unseen visible, the unheard audible .’ He explains how God embeds hidden messages forecasting the future in the physical, historical events recorded in Scripture and music and ‘many other places’… For example in music; not Christian songs but the songs he is speaking are “ the biggest hits in history, songs we all know and love, from top artists and bands including the Beatles, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Adele, U2, Frank Sinatra, Don McLean, Lady Gaga, Pink, the Cars, Simple Minds, the Doors, Rod Stewart, Bonnie Raitt, Led Zeppelin, the Bee Gees, Madonna, the Who, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, the Cranberries, Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits, Aerosmith, Paul McCartney and countless others." " Scores of songs have been decoded using the Spirit of God to reveal what millions of people have missed when listening to their favorite tunes on the air . It's astonishing to understand who the true Author of these hits actually is, and the inspiring messages .” Now anyone who has a modicum of experience in listening to the songs or researched the musicians lyrics and inspiration knows that God is not involved with many of these artists or their songs, In fact the artists themselves say this. Let me pose this to the reader, is both God and the devil in the same song? Does the Devil have no influence on music? Really; even with those who say he does for their inspiration... no, it’s really God! This is an absurd view of the world and music. Certainly musicians can include truths of life in their songs without it being attributed to influence from God? ‘Hundreds of ancient mysteries and prophecies are instantly unsealed as the master key that unlocks the mystery of everything is now in your hands. ‘(what he has unearthed and is now available to everyone.) All this is now available through the book he is selling as he says He found the master key. Do you recognize this man’s intellectual spiritual prowess. He even claims ‘With clarity three of the greatest mysteries in Scripture, unveiling the surprisingly simple meaning of "the beast," "the number of the beast" and "the mark of the beast" But this number is of a man who is not yet known, in a time (the tribulation) that has not yet come. But Kovacs with the secret[s] to the Scripture says he knows. Is he now the world’s greatest prognosticator. His interpretations are just like those who claim Peter had a catch of 153 fish, interpreting this as each fish representing one for each nation (which is untrue but sounds like a clever insight). Just like finding meaning by how far they were from land 200 cubits (Jn.21) or why they Cast the net on the right side of the boat, instead of the left to find fish. Can we find a deeper meaning in Mark 5:13 Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand)” Someone’s imagination can make these into something they are not. The book ‘reaching God speed’ is not a concept taught at all in the Bible. Kovacs claims he is ‘ cracking ‘the divine code ‘on hundreds of Bible passages – both well-known and obscure – to reveal the higher meaning of the verses, going beyond the obvious physical meaning to shine light on what God is broadcasting on the Spirit level, what he calls the incredibly quick and alive "God speed." Kovacs speaks of verses broadcasting concepts that, once linked together, allow people to make the jump from the human speed of understanding to what he calls “God speed,” another way of referring to the spirit level of divine wisdom. ” While there are passages that are interconnected and give light to others, solidifying doctrine, this is not a theme for all the Scripture. Can everyone without the Spirit can understand the Spirits workings and what the Word means on a deeper level? Using terms out of context and a Gnostic slant one can find God in and outside the Bible. That “ our minds accelerate to an incredible new speed.” I can’t begin to state all the assumptions and misunderstandings of Scripture that have wrong interpretations, so let me point out a few that are obvious. All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them : Interpreted by Kovacs as ‘everything is a parable.’ Not just a human, physical meaning John 16:25. (which were used to give a spiritual lesson from their everyday life) Matt 13:3 “Then He spoke many things to them in parables” (Mk.4:33) but not everything was parabolic. Jesus told (approximately) 22 parables recorded in the book of Matthew, 10 parables in the book of Mark, and 10 in the book of Luke. Most scholars understand the gospel of John does not to contain any parables. In fact the Scripture introduces when his sayings is a parable nearly each time he spoke one. He quoted the Old Testament, and the prophets often, which are not parables. Jesus also stated " These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.” Figurative language is not a parable which is a story lesson from everyday life. Mark 8:31-32 we read of him speaking of his death and resurrection plainly and openly. Kovacs: Once these dots are connected, the author says, it becomes fairly simple to decode virtually anything, including the hidden message inside our human breathing. He decides ‘ to everything, there is an additional meaning on the spirit level of God speed.” Kovacs teaches us that God declares 'the end from the beginning.' What this indicates to him is that God is telling us the end of the story, the conclusion of all things, right from the start. But this is not what is meant by this Scripture, or others. Isa. 46:9-10 “ For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done .” This does not mean ALL things are declared but the things he is sharing with us in Scripture, what he allows us to know; he has not told us all. The Scripture is pointing to God as being different than any creature, than the soothsayers, that only he knows the end even before it was created. Isa. 41:26 “ Who has declared from the beginning, that we may know? And former times, that we may say, 'He is righteous'? Surely there is no one who shows, Surely there is no one who declares, Surely there is no one who hears your words. ” Declaring the end from the beginning shows he is all knowing, the creator of what he has directly made. Isa. 48:3" I have declared the former things from the beginning; They went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it. Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.” He is telling us that he fulfills what he says. He does not say everything that has a beginning has the end declared to us but only what he has he has made known to us. Isa 48:5 “ Even from the beginning I have declared it to you; Before it came to pass I proclaimed it to you, Lest you should say, 'My idol has done them.” God is showing that he is not a creature, nor something made of men’s hands but the creator of all and knows all. All the Scriptures need to be reads in their context. Isa 48:16 ‘ Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning” On certain matters he has not, especially on his existence and his interaction with mankind. See all the claims Kovacs can reveal at https://reachinggodspeed.com/ Kovak has taught unbiblical explanations for the Word, twisting literal interpretations of Scripture, like we become gods, added to a God family; a cultic teaching that he claimed he revealed. This is all exercises within the framework of a Gnostic interpretation. We can know the truth by having the Holy Spirit teach us the Word in its context, accurately, literally. The Word has certain mysteries, things that are, or were kept from man. Some God has revealed because it’s part of his plan that involves mankind. The main portion that was kept secret and revealed in the New Testament was the gospel (Rom.16:25), which was made known by the apostles. The parables he explained to the apostles as well. His premise, his concepts on revealing secrets is so wrong, I really do not know nor care to hear his arguments he uses to convince his readers. To be gods means duplicates, or added to the Triune nature (he calls a family) when there is only one God. The same Scripture used (Ps.82) also says to those gods you will fall like one of the princes (That would be the Devil who wanted to be as God) and die like mere men, showing what it really means in context. Being an expert in the hidden meanings of the Bible is a Gnostic type of interpreting, what the Rosicrucians and Mystics use, which is not really accurate Bible interpretations, but Bible misinformation that does not illuminate the Words actual meaning. This why Gnostics wrote their own gospels in the early days of the church giving very different interpretations. “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32) |
