The prophets continue to prophesy falsely and the people still love it so (Jeremiah 5:31)
Looking back in the past always helps us to know the present, to understand how
we got here and what is taking place. It can also make us uncomfortable in some
matters as look at what is, and what is not.
1994 was a key year. We find the Devil was hard at work introducing a lying
false prophecy to the Church worldwide by a major “Christian” network TBN.
“John Hinkle's prophecy of June 9 1994 - the Lord will rip evil out”
Paul Crouch: You know the bible is very, very simple. There's one test of a true
prophet - if his word comes to pass he's a prophet, if it doesn't, he's a false
prophet. So in a very real sense you've stepped out and really put your whole
ministry and name on the line haven't you John?
John Hinkle: Yes I have Paul because, well I haven't, I give my life to God, and
all of a sudden I realize that he is using me now, that the Lord himself spoke -
and when he speaks in that voice you simply cannot doubt it...
Paul Crouch: Alright...
John: it's just beyond that.
Paul Crouch: For those who may have just tuned by, one more time before we get
right into the heart of it now, what was the word of the Lord that came to you a
few days ago?
John: A few weeks ago now...
Paul Crouch: Weeks ago.
John: He said - it was about 2 o'clock in the morning, and this great loud voice
like a trumpet, and it said, I heard it inside and out clearly, very clearly,
and he said - “on Thursday, June the 9th, I will rip the evil out of this
world.”
Another interview:
John: I was awakened and the Lord spoke to me in the most awesome voice, I heard
it outside and inside, he didn't leave one speck of doubt.
Crouch: Uh huh.
John: And as I sat up, he said, “On Thursday, June the 9th, I will rip the evil
out of this world.” And I turned the calendar to 1994 and there it was,
Thursday, June the 9th, that he would rip the evil out of this world. And I
knew then that the most cataclysmic experience that the world has ever known
since the resurrection - I believe since the resurrection of the Lord - is
going to happen.
Paul Crouch: Remember, first of all, it was made clear to John this is not the
second coming of Christ, this is...
John: Absolutely.
Paul Crouch: ...not the rapture of the church...
John: Nope.
Paul Crouch: ...of Jesus Christ, it's just something is going to happen on June
the 9th.
John: It will be the cleansing out of evil so that men can see Jesus
really.
Another TBN interview:
John: Well I don't know how many of you realize that we are on a countdown...
days are getting fewer and fewer until a magnificent happening. I believe it's
10 days left now until June the 9th, I believe the climax of the greatest battle
that history's ever known is about to come forth. And that climax is a
spiritual battle between good and evil, between the devil and his forces, and
the power and the glory of God himself. And aren't you fortunate to think,
for one moment, that you're going to see the greatest event in all of history
take place. Yes I mean that. I believe it with all my heart, because on
Thursday June the 9th the Lord will rip the evil out of this world.
In another program AFTER the date had come:
Host: ...from Christchurch, John Hinkle. And you remember it was Pastor Hinkle
that got that tremendous word from the Lord about June the 9th? Ok. “Dear Paul
and Jan,” - this is dated June 13th - “praise the Lord for June the 9th, for the
veil has been ripped and the good news is coming in to us from everywhere.
People have been changed and their services filled with the new spirit and
presence of the Lord. Family relations are being healed, miracles of physical
healings are taking place all over. At first I was disappointed in not seeing a
greater manifestation of physical healings but the Lord said 'I have ripped the
spiritual veil first so that men will not return to the world after they have
been healed and filled with my spirit.' Thanks to you Paul and Jan for the world
has received a new baptism of love from the message you dared to put out and the
best is yet to come. I hope to talk to you in person before too long. God bless
and love you always, lovingly John Hinkle, Pastor of Christchurch.”
John Hinkle of Christ Church in Los Angeles made no apology for his this false revelation, in fact it solidified him in his deception. No apology was forthcoming from TBN, Paul Crouch (or Pat Robertson who joined in). None of it happened the way it was presented to the church. This went out to the whole world. Hinkle then made it into a crinkle, saying, it was a “spiritual” removing of the evil!
Evil has increased in the whole world just as the Bible said it would but Hinkle’s prophecy that so many people accepted was just the beginning as the walls of discernment that were to protect were brought down. The glory that he prophesied was leaving not manifesting; the Holy Spirit shows the truth to those who have ears to hear. Crouch said it correctly about a false prophet but ignored his won words.
Many in the church have relegated their authority and finances to this network
and look where TBN took the church. Being obviously wrong that evil had been
ripped from the earthy it actually increased- false prophets almost always have
it the opposite way. Time will eventually prove false prophecy. Anyone taught
the basics of the word knows Evil will be dealt with by Jesus when He returns,
not before. Somehow this eluded these “spirit filled Pentecostal men” who LIED
to the church publicly by endorsing a FALSE PROPHECY.
Later that same year Rodney Browne began to make his appearance on TBN telling
the audience about serving Joel’s wine to the church and that they were to get
drunk, so the church began to laugh hysterically, stuck to the floor for hours,
lost the ability to speak as evil was increasing.
The word drunk appears 3 times in the book of Revelation 17:2, 6;18:3. It’s not
a good thing, its spiritual fornication and the Bible tells us they kill the
saints (who are not drunk).
Rodney Howard Browne was making everyone laugh while EVIL was increasing all
around them brought in self focus feelings. He told people not to pray but just
accept what is happening to them as from God and they did. Browne convinced the
church that in Acts 2, they must have been drunk on the new wine because the
people (mockers, unbelievers) said they were drunk and filled with new wine.
This was carried like a virus in the Vineyard churches under John Wimber, and
broke loose in the Toronto Airport Vineyard under John Arnott. Vineyard churches
already was prepared for these new unbiblical manifestations as Jack Deere and
Paul Cain, mike Bickle and Bob Jones were teaching of Joel’s army (one of the
teachings of the latter rain), they look at it as a miracle working army of the
church elite that invade places all over the earth. The bible teaches this takes
place in the day of the LORD - the tribulation; it’s not a good thing.
Others who called themselves Pentecostals and Charismatics got filled with the
same spirit and the TV airwaves were filled with new spirit warriors that were
an army marching through the land to remove demonic forces and evil that opposed
God’s kingdom. Everyday a new revelation and prophesy was revealed on how the
church would no longer be the tail but the head.
Rodney Howard-Browne at a Kenneth Copeland meeting was the red light flashing as
they showed the church what they were both REALLY about, as he prophesied the
power that is coming to the church.
“This is the day, this is the hour,” saith the Lord “that I am moving in this
earth. This is the day that I'll cause you to step over into the realm of the
supernatural. ... The drops of rain are beginning to fall to the glory of God….
For this is the day of the fire and the glory of God coming unto His Church.
Rise up this day.... To drink, to drink, to drink, to drink, to drink, to drink,
to drink, to drink, to drink [tongues]. We drink [tongues] [he laughs]. O yea,
yea, yea, yea, yea, we don't worry about what other people say. No, it doesn't
matter what they think. Ha, ha, ha, ho, oooh.” Then He began to speak to
Copeland in tongues who spoke back in tongues and they laughed at each others
jokes spoken in tongues.”
Kenneth Copeland then said to him, “Take a deep drink. Take a deep drink of the
Holy Ghost.” Rodney then laughed, and the man fell down to the floor. Copeland
then spoke in tongues. Rodney prophesied again and said, “My people after
Calvary got nothing out of religion. And the Holy Ghost came because they got
nothing out of religion. Well, you silly thing. Oh you silly goose. … Look,
look, look, look, look, look, look, look saith the Lord. Cloven tongues. Look,
look, look, cloven tongues like as of fire. Look, look, look saith the Lord. It
is happening right now. 'When will pentecost [come]?' It is happening right now.
'When will the outpour[ing come]?' It is happening right now. Feel, feel, feel,
feel, feel the wind, the wind, the wind, the wind is blowing. Yes, yes, yes,
cloven tongues like as of fire. Get up. Get up. See -- see the glory. See the
shekinah. You are in the midst of angels. You are in the midst of the shekinah
cloud. You are in the midst of the fire. For the glory of the Lord has
descended, and you are beholding, yes, yes, you are beholding my face. You are
seeing into the Spirit realm.”
These men acted like they were spiritually insane, but the more meetings they
acted this way the more acceptable it became. And so they introduced the new
thing to a grateful audience, this is what we now know as the ‘Signs and wonders
movement.’ Which was a disguised revision of the Latter Rain that came from
William Branham and the healing evangelists of the 40’s. Each year more people
watched them, they gave more money, more authority, more Biblical truth in
exchange for what TBN and their ‘special guests’ were transferring. People
falling down, shaking like they have Turret syndrome or another neurological
diseases. We entered an era of a new openness to the mystical, the “realm of the
spirit.” Their audience as being converted and didn’t even know it.
The participants in the word faith movement (also engaged in Latter Rain
practices) were quick to jump in this newly formed river that eventually drowned
people in the rapids as it ran swiftly to the waterfalls edge.
Trips to heaven were advertised, visitations of Saints and Jesus on earth, and
the promise to share in the same anointing and benefits as one sows their seed
to these masters of words that manipulate reality
From a hundred dollar seed to thousand dollar to psalm numbers ($55, $83) per
month or whatever the new number is.
Speaking of 3 billionaires, Copeland stated “since I’m one of them it will only
leave only 2 more”….but I’m not one of those three since I’m already am one,
I’ve already appropriated and been walking in that a looong time… now don’t tell
them senators this,… that last time we totaled it up which been some time ago
this ministry since its been in operation 41 years this month… there has been
over a billion, three come into this ministry since it went into operation
(applause). He then says he is a billionaire not because of what came in but
because the Lord said “I want you to confess the billion flow – as long as you
were in the million flow you were winning millions you go into the billion flow
you win billions” So I said yes sir , I believe and I receive it and its been
number of years ago and I have confessed that I’m in the billion flow and that I
am a billionaire In the kingdom of God” (audio on file).
This is what the church has made one of the worst false teachers in its history-
a billionaire. He has convinced himself that God told him to confess it into
reality. I don’t think I need to go into the anti - Biblical teaching he is
promoting as from God.
Copeland is one of the biggest offenders of the church and the word is someone
who claims to teach the word and its power, who is living glory that is Kenneth
Copeland. He is one who said in prophecy at his Victory campaign in Dallas Texas
that Jesus did not say he was ever the son of God. Or God.
“Don’t be disturbed when people accuse you of thinking you’re God. …Don’t be
disturbed when people put you down and speak harshly and roughly of you they
spoke that way of Me. Should they not speak that way of you?
The more you get to be like me, the more they’re going to think that way of you.
They crucified Me for claiming that I was God. But I didn’t claim I was God; I
just claimed I walked with Him and that He was in Me. Hallelujah” (Believer’s
Voice of Victory magazine, February 1987, take time to pray p. 9).
Later when he came under scrutiny for denying the truth with such an obvious false teaching he
said. I didn’t say Jesus wasn’t God, I said He didn’t claim to be God when He
lived on the earth. Search the Gospels for yourself. If you do, you’ll find what
I say is true…. He never made the assertion that He was the most High God. In
fact, He told His disciples that the Father God was greater and mightier than He
(John 14:28). Why didn’t Jesus openly proclaim Himself as God during His 33
years on earth? For one simple reason. He hadn’t come to earth as God, He’s come
as man” (Believer’s Voice of Victory magazine, August 1988, p. 8)
Thats called splitting hairs
The revealing point is in this so called prophecy is “I”, this was supposed to
be a prophecy which is God speaking to man (does God say Praise the Lord?).
furthermore to say he came as man and NOT God is a lie that he attributes to God
explaining his prophecy.
The fact is that Copeland said we shouldn’t be disturbed when people accuse you
of thinking you’re God.
And then says Jesus never claimed to be when He said he came from heaven as the
Son of God (as if this was not implied in dozens of ways) is outrageous. But the
church was already becoming numb to truth and more responsive to the false
teachers as their guides.
“I want you to know something Adam in the Garden of Eden was God manifested in
the flesh” … “You see Adam was walking as a God, Adam walked in God's class”
(Kenneth Copeland, Following the Faith of Abraham I (Fort Worth, TX: Kenneth

“Adam was just as much the Son of God as Jesus, Jesus just as much the Son of
God as Adam” (Kenneth Copeland, Believer's Voice of Victory, January 29 2001)
So if Adam was God just like Jesus then so were his offspring. Then what’s so
special about Jesus? Once you digest this theosophy of Copeland everything else
he says becomes clear.
Then when Kenneth Copeland proclaims, “You don’t have a god in you, you are one”
(Kenneth Copeland, The Force of Love audiotape #02-0028, side 1.) You must
understand the spirit that is exalting man and demoting Jesus.
What person who believes in Christ’s deity as the Bible teaches would ever say
such a thing, as if the Bible actually says this? The doctrine of antichrist has
been promoted strongly on TBN for over 25 years by these people that have made
into stars.
So when Paul Crouch discussed this with his other god friend Kenneth, Crouch
came to the conclusion: “He doesn’t ever draw a distinction between himself.”
Kenneth Copeland: “Never, never. You never can do that in a covenant
relationship.”
Paul Crouch: “You know what else that settles then tonight. This hue and cry and
controversy that has been spawned by the devil to try and bring dissention
within the body of Christ that we are gods. I am a little god.”
Kenneth Copeland: “Yes, yes!”
Paul Crouch: “I have His name. I’m one with Him. I’m in a covenant relationship.
I am a little god.”
Kenneth Copeland: “Critics, you are anything that He is” (Paul
Crouch TBN)
TBN made sure you would not longer judge what the so called prophets said in
their teaching or prophecy on their network or you were then cursed and mocked.
So the prophets continued rolling out the words they claim to be from God… as
gods.
This Prophecy is by Kenneth Copeland to the Body of Christ at the Helena, MT
Victory Campaign on May 10, 2002: Speaking of miracles “ by the end of June you
will begin to hear of super-miracles, mega-moves of God that startle human minds
and thinking”… There will be manifestations of the Holy Ghost suddenly appear on
streets and in stores and in churches and different places around the world.”
“There's going to be a major change, major change. It's not going to be just the
same old, same old. Major change is about to happen in the Middle East. Major,
major change is about to happen in the Middle East, and don't even try--you
can't figure it out. I'm running this, saith the Lord. That's my territory and
that's my town and I'll run it how I see fit.”
“I've taken over the politics in case you didn't know.”
Yeah, I'll do that, Lord...
”We're in the greater works time right now. Right now, praise God, right now.
And where a thousand got saved, there will be a million saved. Where there were
ten thousand, there will be ten million. There are going to be days, single days
before this year is up, where there will be over a million a day being brought
into the kingdom of God as easily as before when a thousand people a day came
in. And before the end of the year, it's going to be into numbers you can't even

Copeland continues to prophesy and boast for God by giving people what they want to hear, it does not matter that he includes a time element that does not come to pass.
“But There are going to be multiplied millions upon millions there’s going to be close to a billion people that have been trapped in that religion, that over the next few months are gonna to come into the kingdom of God. That’s gonna happen, you watch and see what I’m telling you (cheering) Because its been…I’m telling you Satan’s fat is in the fire he pushed it over the line, and God has moved… I’d to get in there and walk around a while but I don’t have the time but I can tell you this, that thing has come to an end, its over, I’m talking about Islam and every, all that that stands for. That’s over with.” (Word of Life Christian Center Honolulu Hawaii, dedication celebration service, evening service, Dec.2, 2001)
“This war, particularly the way you know it now, is not going to last as long as
everybody thinks it is because the major parts of it will come apart and fall.
The deathblow has already happened to the nation of Islam. In My eyes, saith the
Lord, it's already fallen and it is no more.” (Kenneth Copeland December 31,
2002 Eagle Mountain International Church)
Ask yourself- is this true? Is Islam waning, are millions if not a billion
saved? There are no excuses that can be made for these blatherskites that
deliver a modicum of truth with an overflowing abundance of mendacious lies.
They abuse the tithes and offerings and make it self aggrandizing for themselves
to live in opulence. It doesn’t mater what they teach on prosperity or even that
they claim to be gods. The very thing that the antichrist will claim and do does
not make them or their listeners blush. Here’s the modern neo evangelical church
in all its glory. Anointed by the cherub (Ez.28:14) that covered and fell,
speaking the same words because they are shaped by his image. They cannot hear
the words of Jesus accurately because they listen to another.
Today a whole new set of lying religious prophets has inherited the legacy of
the Latter Rain movement, and the process of deterioration continues at even a
faster pace. For those of us who have been around when the seeds of inception
were planted we are watching it bear its fruit to maturity (Mt.7:18-19) and it
breaks our heart. Some of us have watch our own churches accept and become
involved in these deceptions.
So what has become of the church? There was no immediate cataclysm that brought
her demise, but a slow but continual barrage of false teachers that damaged the
house so that the occupants have to move.
She, the church will survive, not as a powerful entity that she began as, but
will be pristine though fewer in number, her quality of holiness will be seen
and noticed. Paul teaching on marriage between a man a wife gives us the
spiritual meaning of the mystery of the church and Christ “that He might present
her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing,
but that she should be holy and without blemish” (Eph 5:27). Preparation has
begun for those who will be cleansed of their sin by the lamb (1 Pt.1:19) keep
to his teachings and willing to be content, live their life ready to do the will
of the Lord.
Walter Martin warned the church as this was going on before he went to be
with the Lord what was actually taking place.
I remember that I used to get many angry letters on my articles and programs
from the people being loyal to TBN. But along the way something changed and the
people started to see the deception. The peoples eyes were being opened because
they honestly wanted to know the truth. TRUTH is hard to digest when one has
swallowed the falsehood for so long and enjoyed it. Join with us in prayer that
people will be rescued from the deepening deception that is pervading the world
and encroaching in the church.
Jesus warns that there will be many who brag on the miracles and power they have
and the works they did in his name. Matthew 7:21-22: “Not everyone who says to
Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of
My Father in heaven. “Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord…”
That day is assuredly approaching. May the Lord use us to liberate those who
follow the multitude of false teachers in our day by the truth that has not
changed.
