p.2 The Many Words of the false prophets 1 Peter 3:10-11 “Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.” Prov. 10:19 “In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.” Those who constantly talk and elicit your attention (men and women) by saying they have a prophecy or a dream, or a word from the Lord. Ps. 73:8-9 “ They speak loftily. They set their mouth against the heavens, And their tongue walks through the earth.” They prophesy over this country and that country, this city and that city. There is no end to their telling you what will take place in the future, they have vision, a dream and a fresh word, it is constant, like a running faucet “For in the multitude of dreams and many words there is also vanity.’ (Eccl 5:7) Are you continually running to hear what they have to say, do you look at the Word that is actually from God, that is truth, that would give you awareness at what your ears hear, that would expose the unfruitful work of darkness? Do you care for your spiritual life, your soul? Some actually believe they are being led by the Spirit speaking these revelations. Others who give ear to them think they too are led by the spirit, when they are being led to destruction. Isaiah the prophet faced the same attitude among the people (59:2) “No one calls for justice, Nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.” Are you paying attention listening to the other side, those who care for the truth and are balanced on their feet, who do not fall. Latter Rain revivalist Lou Engle in his book “the Jesus Fast: the Call to Awaken the nations” speaks of atomic power. He quotes favorably on the Latter Rain repeating Branham “the revival would never have been possible without the restoration of this great truth through our good brother Hall.” (From Digging the Wells of Revival, Lou Engle) Franklin Hall was the one that was an influence on the greatest false prophet in the church William Branham, and his contemporaries. We need to pay attention to those who quote favorably those in the Latter Rain and avoid them at all costs. At an event for Lonnie Frisbee Lou Engle tells those present pray the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers into the harvest field, he then comments of Jesus, “I think he was possessed he saw the limitations of his own Carnation, of his own incarnation realizing he needed millions like himself, just like Lonnie needs a million Frisbees flying, I'm not kidding you I believe that dream that he wants that anointing to roll across California again.” He’s not speaking of those Frisbees you throw and catch but the one who Left Calvary chapel and influenced John Wimber into a starting on a course with a different Christianity, first establishing the prophets and apostles in his church which Peter Wagner his associate picked up on, continuing it after he died. Engles says “… He saw Lonnie Frisbee walking down the beach and heard a voice say Lonnie is a friend of the Holy Spirit this is his dream he dreams this and then suddenly hundreds of literal frisbees of different shapes and sizes started flying from Lonnie all over California beaches up to Canada and down to Mexico I believe this was a prophetic glimpse of what God is getting ready to do and that we are in a new hour of a manifestation of Jesus the Evangelist.” Engle further speaks of his dream, walking through the city lifting his eyes seeing a Calvary Chapel in the distance and all “the love of God came off of that Calvary Chapel in the dream slammed into my …I knew the Lord is saying I'm going to give another love song to California I am I'm going to give another Jesus Movement.” (September 29th, 2019 an event was held in Anaheim honoring Lonnie Frisbee’s life) This is not what the Church needs, this is what the Church needs to avoid! Engle’s who is saturated in the Latter Rain cannot see what is Biblical or not. What away to interpret a dream, typical allegorical imaginations. The Frisbee anointing? 27Lonnie Frisbee tells us about his mentor Kathryn Kuhlman “Before she died in 1976, she laid hands on me in a prayer of impartation.” “In fact, I believe that the anointing that is resting on my life.” I’m sure Benny Hinn would be jealous, however, if you look at the full disclosure of Frisbee you would be shocked. If you accept Frisbee you accept all that he said about Kuhlman and others. This is what he said about his anointing, he spoke of himself, that his calling was apostolic, that he was a prophet, that he was a mystic with infused prayer (as the Catholics have), and he was a seer. I would say that his view of himself justified the irreparable damage he had done. But it does a relationship to his testimony which everyone should know before they buy the advertising on him by the Latter Rain practitioners. 7 mountain mandate dominionist John Enlow chimes in with his Frisbee revelation this “The Lord has shown me that there is yet a proper honoring of Lonnie Frisbee that is to come on earth. As much as people may be aware of how he failed the Church, if people knew all the truth, they would be aware that the Church failed Lonnie more than Lonnie failed the Church.” “Nevertheless, I believe the Lord is about to release 50 "Lonnie Frisbee" mantles and these will operate again initially and primarily outside the four walls of the Church. These will be those new leaders who march to the beat of a different drum, love the unlovely, and burn with a passionate fire for God's Kingdom to be released on the earth. They will be known by great authority over demons and an unconditional love for "sinners." Church, watch out … That’s right ‘watch out,God help us. Having just one more Lonnie Frisbee is one to too many, not just 50 or more! I Find what is being said as more than insidious, this is like hero worship. I don’t care about these men’s opinions who claim they hear from God, it’s their imaginations driven by their own twisted desires of their heart. And this is why they cannot control their tongue that speaks falsehood after falsehood. This has taken place before. Jeremiah 9:5 “ that I might weep day and night For the slain of the daughter of my people! Oh, that I had in the wilderness A lodging place for travelers; That I might leave my people, And go from them! For they are all adulterers, An assembly of treacherous men. "And like their bow they have bent their tongues for lies. They are not valiant for the truth on the earth. For they proceed from evil to evil” That is God’s word and it takes us even deeper into the situation. These men are deceived and deceiving others, “And they do not know Me," says the LORD. "Everyone take heed to his neighbor, And do not trust any brother; For every brother will utterly supplant, And every neighbor will walk with slanderers. Everyone will deceive his neighbor, And will not speak the truth; They have taught their tongue to speak lies;” They weary themselves to commit iniquity. Your dwelling place is in the midst of deceit; Through deceit they refuse to know Me," says the LORD. Isa 59:19 When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. The enemy is about lies, falsehood, Gods standard always has to do with the truth The only way to avoid being swept away in this flood of lies is to“Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.”(1 Tim 4:16) |
