Cindy Jacobs Prophetess or Prophetmess? You decide Cindy Jacobs is known as a General in the New Apostolic Reformation, as a prophetess from the state of Texas she is co-founder of Generals International. She's also the host of her TV show “God Knows.” According her biography on her website, “Cindy Jacobs is a respected prophet who travels the world ministering not only to crowds of people, but to heads of nations. Perhaps her greatest ministry is to world influencers who seek her prophetic advice.” Prophetic advice? Advice is a description based on an opinion, God does not have opinions but speaks absolute truth. She does not, instead of her pointing to God’s Word, she points to her own. A Respected prophetess? You can’t find anyone more audacious and offensive that Cindy Jacobs who is an embarrassment to those who know the true Jesus of the Bible and what prophecy actually is. This ‘blabber mouth prophetess’ cannot control her spirit as she speaks unbiblical concepts into her prophetic words. Continually talking about and saying prophecy, prophetic in phrases does not make it so. Cindy and Mike Jacobs founded the prayer-based Generals International organization in 1985, which “exists for the purpose of changing lives and transforming nations.” Her website generals International states “ We believe in the life-changing power of God’s prophetic Word.” https://www.generals.org/history We should note that not all the Words in Scripture are prophetic, what about these other words we are to abide by that are not prophetic? Are they not life changing? (2 Tim.3:16) These are not what are taught. Her story She tells us at nine years old, the Lord called Cindy when He urged her to read Psalm 2:8: “Ask of me the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the world for your possession.” Global Prophetic Summit 2021 | Generals International https://courses. generals. org/p/global-prophetic-summit-20201 This certainly shaped her understanding of Christianity into a false view. This Scripture is EXCLUSIVE to the Son of God ONLY he receives the nations as his inheritance. So whatever she heard was not from God, especially this at 9 years of age. Ps 2:6 I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion." "I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, 'You are My Son Today I have begotten You.” (Acts 13:33) Heb.1:5 applies this to Gods Son after the resurrection. Because she has gone to speak at 100 nations of the world she sees this being fulfilled. But it is what she is teaching them shows this has nothing to do with biblical Christianity rightly interpreted. From the Generals of Intercession site of “Get to Know Us (Faqs)” part of website: “ Mike and Cindy Jacobs co-founded Generals of Intercession in 1985 with a mission of developing intercessory prayer strategies to unlock harvest throughout the nations of the world... Additionally, Cindy serves as the United States coordinator of the Spiritual Warfare Network, headed globally by C. Peter Wagner...Mike and Cindy are active members of Springs Harvest Fellowship, pastored by Dutch Sheets.” I have watched many videos and do not see the gospel that saves presented. Dutch Sheets is Cindy Jacobs pastor, both appeared on Benny Hinn's program in the early 2000's when the NAR was up and rolling out its agenda. Sheets said “the phrase that he gave me was the synergy of the ages,… this is the revelation God has been bringing to me it is a synergistic joining century defined as the combined action of 2 or more which have a greater total effect than some of their individual efforts.. the coming together of the ages which produces a synergistic multiplicated effect in the kingdom of God.”Synergism means “interaction of discrete agents, elements, or constituents in such a way that the total effect is greater than the sum of the individual effects .” Considering the concept of the global church of the world this is exactly what he is referring to as the apostles and prophets like Cindy steer the ship onto the shoals. Peter Wagner: As an apostle, I have naturally begun to develop relationships between apostles. Since I'm not a prophet, that never entered my mind until Cindy (Jacobs) started saying that she as a prophet saw the need for prophets to relate to each” (GI Newsletter Jan/Feb 2000 Joining Forces, Blazing Trails: An Interview with Peter Wagner) From the onset we see Cindy Jacobs involved in Wagner’s NAR. In fact she was one of the main influencers She began to push the gathering of prophets and brought me into it as an apostle. And then finally the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders took shape. Peter Wagner who became the head honcho of the prophetic/ apostolic movement was appointed by ‘prophetess,’ Cindy Jacobs. For example, he attributes to her, “As far as I can find back in the prophetic journal the first prophecy I ever had that used the word apostle came from Cindy Jacobs.” In July in 1995, at a meeting in Colorado springs, at a voice of God conference “Cindy said “The lord would say today my son Peter I put the anointing of apostle of prayer upon you, I put the mantle of an Abraham, a patriarch, and I’m calling you forth into the land of promise. And I call you Doris, Sarah, says the Lord, and calling you forth to give you many, many spiritual children.” So that’s the first time I can recall or look up that somebody using the word apostle when they prophesied over me.” Wagner then says “a few months later in September one of our three intercessors name Margaret Mobely from the Dallas area she wrote the letter and she said an apostolic door has been sovereignly opened for you by the Lord Himself neither man nor demon will be able shut it.” (C.P. Wagner May 11, 2000 National School of the Prophets) So through prophetess Cindy, Wagner was appointed and anointed to start he false gathering Cindy Jacobs tells of when she was in Bogota, Colombia. “Mike and I were sitting at a restaurant with Peter Wagner, and the Lord gave me a word for him, that God was going to use him to do something that would change the face of Christianity . And he said, “Well, I'll probably never tell anybody that.” Oh, yeah, right, Then, well, right. That's the second part. I was gonna say that. In fact, the Lord, the Lord, and the word of the Lord said, “It will be, it will be like unto what Martin Luther did” (Cindy Jacobs National School of the Prophets, subtitled “Mobilizing the Prophetic Office May 11th, 2000). We have heard from a number of the new prophets saying the same, that the Lord told them to change the face, or the course of Christianity. Over the last several years and we have seen this course misleading many into a different cult like Christianity with self appointed men and women instead of Christ as the head. I wonder how long true Christianity the Church can resist their change? This change that has come is not the same as Luther’s call of a return to Sola Scriptura, it is instead fresh (rhema) Scriptura from today’s prophets. Indeed these people under Wagner have changed the face of Christianity. A prophetess to the nations? On Hawaii’s TBN program Ed Silvoso stated, “Hawaii has been prophesied by reliable prophets that it will be the first Christian state in the union. I believe that”(January 31, 2005 TBN Hawaii, Cal Chinen interview). He most likely is referring to Cindy Jacobs, she may be one of the most capricious, untrustworthy prophetess’ we know on Wagner’s team, but then they all are.Virginia Domligan of the Prayer Center of the Pacific stated, who practices the NAR spirit warfare said, “Over ten years ago, under the divine unction of the Holy Spirit, Cindy Jacobs of Generals Int’l stood on a platform at Aloha Stadium and declared that the State of Hawaii would become the FIRST Christianized state in the U.S.! This is the will of God for Hawaii!”(read www.letusreason.org/Popteac32.htm ) I can tell you as a witness this is not the direction the state is going, nor will it ever go. General of warfare? Cindy Jacobs is known as a “spiritual warfare specialist,” bedsides a prophetess to the nations, she is general Cindy. The Generals of Intercession are headed by Cindy Jacobs, who attends the Vineyard church with pastor is Dutch Sheets, who wrote the book, “River of God”, which was endorsed by another false prophet Rick Joyner. She has written a book called “Possessing the Gates of the Enemy,” a training manual for militant intercessors. Its forward is written by C. Peter Wagner (In it she states Wagner has been her mentor; actually she has had just as much influence on him than he has been for her.) “Today's praying Church is rising up in militant force to possess the promised land of our nations. Possessing the Gates of the Enemy is a training manual for God's prayer army. This manual is needed because a tremendous spirit of prayer is being poured out-worldwide.” (Possessing The Gates Of The Enemy, Introduction, Cindy Jacobs p. 15) Are we as Christians supposed to have a militant spirit? Scripture speaks of the violent take the kingdom by force, its not a good thing. She says this because “. . . Christ has given us back authority to reestablish dominion over the earth.” (ibid.p. 53.) No He has not! Numerous new spiritual concepts are taught like prophetic intercession to pull down strongholds in the heavenlies that block evangelism on earth. (When do these people evangelize? They have no time as they are constantly engaged in spirit Identification and war) This warfare, “carries with it not only revival, but reformation, societal transformation.”... “It's going be greater than tsunamis'; forthere is a spiritual tsunami coming to Asia,”says God.” There's a spiritual tsunami being poured out across the face of the earth.”... (CINDY JACOBS: God says, “I'm Raising Up a New Generation of Revivalists Such as the World Has Not Seen” (The ElijahList, 9/18/07)Jacobs incorporates the Latter Rain teaching of the “overcomers,” that their endtime church will birth the manchild, which is a worldwide revival (the only biblical precedent for this revival is in the tribulation, spoken of in Rev.7). the rest spoken is just fantasy doctrine. Jacobs in her usual boisterous fashion pouts, “We tear down the imaginations of man that oppose the laws of God, that would distort the laws of creation, and we say, “No,” to it in Jesus' name. We take authority over every spirit that has been assigned to bring it to pass. And we forbid it and stop it now, in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah.” (Cindy Jacobs, National School Of The Prophets-Mobilizing The Prophetic Office, May 11, 2002) The Bible does not give us this kind of authority. Only Jesus Christ has the authority to bind Satan, and will only do so at the beginning of his millennial reign when He returns But as a, or THE NAR general she teaches it is up to us to have this control. “We are the enforcers of His will in the earth today as we use His name and pray His will through His word . . . It is critical that intercessors in America rise up and enforce God's will in our nation. The Church must go to the war room in prayer to stem the tide of sin and decay that has come upon our land.” (Possessing The Gates Of The Enemy, Cindy Jacobs, p. 56.) How about being salt and light as Jesus said? How about giving the gospel to the world? Ever hear that from her mouth or her comrades in the NAR? Prayer is seen as a weapon according to Jacobs. Not to God in asking him, but To be used to force whatever she thinks God's will is on everyone! Shove it down everyone's throats! Because that's what real Christians do isn't it? Fight, war push and shove. Prayer is a weapon in that we ask God We tear down these imaginations by explaining the truth, we counteract the false spiritual ideas philosophies by speaking the truth. This is a spiritual battle that is won a person at a time by convincing them of the truth so they can understand the false they believe in and the truth will set them free (the gospel?) But these people are incapable of doing this Instead they pursue discovering demons, pull them down, curse them, bind them and supposedly throw them into the pit of Hell. There are no verbal rebukes, declarations when the apostles entered a city nor did they have a prayer meeting to pull down its strongholds. General history or history of generals? Generals! There is no such thing in God's government, this position is found in man’s and Satan’s governing. God only has servants and one cannot be a true leader unless they are serving the people in a way that pleases him. The new prophetic movement fostered on the church by Wagner’s apostles and prophets, of which Cindy Jacobs is part of, does not serve the body but divides it from the truth. They teach to get very involved with politics with the idea that they can save the U.S. by a Christian leadership that will rule over a non believing country or world. In other words dominionism! The 7 mountains mandate is promoted by her and the apostolic/prophetic network (which was a revelation given to the founder of YWAM Loren Cunningham in the 70’s, they were kingdom now). This movement teaches the church is to take back the dominion over the world that Adam had lost in Genesis 1:28. Peter Wagner pronounced on the 700 Club in 1999 that 2000 was the year that God was to appoint a new government under new apostles and prophets to lead us into a new era, as “super, or superior apostles.” The church coming under their leadership is to create God's kingdom on earth for Jesus' return. Their reception of new revelation has their focus on unbiblical supernaturalism rather than the Bibles Word. Which is extremely dangerous to those who put into practice their revelations (mostly on how to defeat Satan in the heavenlies. Which is unbiblical) Chuck Pierce stated, “The VIRUS Cindy Jacobs prophesied to me on January 3, 2020 that in the first three months of this year, I would have to be cautious in how much I travel. I had gone 570,000 miles last year and was weary from all the travel and warfare. This is God’s Earth!'“ (NAR prophetess Cindy Jacobs. Mar. 2, 2020) Chapter and verse for believers having ALL authority? It’s NOT there. It’s Not there because it is only Jesus that was given this by the Father. Even in the Millennium we who are glorified and serve UNDER Jesus Christ, the only messiah, as one who rules the earth with a rod of Iron. We do not. Regardless, she claims the virus is illegal when Jesus himself warned of the increase of diseases at the end of the age, its perfectly legal. p.2 Her prophecies
