The History of Israel is one of the most important subjects of Scripture that Christians must understand to know prophecy. Without understanding the covenant to Israel you cannot know how God deals with humanity and how the last days culminate.

What we do know is that The Day of the Lord is the Day of salvation to Israel (the remnant), it occurs on the last day of the Tribulation. On this day God deals with ALL the evil in the world, he ends the world government that is in place, by the man  a counterfeit Christ ruling over the deceived citizens. And he deals with both Satan and the saints directly. It is the day when all of anti-God history is removed and the saved enter the kingdom of Christ on earth called the Millennium.
