p.1 Does the Messiah Jesus’ return, or not?

Mike Adams' panoply of prophetic platitudes

Hebrews 13:9, “Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines.” We are to keep in sound doctrine. This becomes a concern when one is teaching what is wrong, more than what they teach is right.

Those who get teaching on prophecy wrong are because their theology is wrong. If one carries a metaphysical (new age) slant in their Bible interpretations, it will lead them to a rejection of God's literal word for nearly everything, including prophecy for Israel being saved and restored. We need to consider that if this slant affects one's understanding of the Bible; can it also be affecting teaching elsewhere?

I'm speaking of none other than Mike Adams, who continually has nothing good to say about Israel or the Jews. He makes them out to be more like the Islamic terrorists; he’s more punitive than Islam is, and yet at the same time, he ignores what Islam does.

Israel has few friends in the world, one is the US, and even that can be fickle at times.

Adams says, “so many evangelical Christians that believe the Israel that's mentioned in the Bible, especially in the Old Testament, based on texts written, you 2000 to 5000 years ago, that they think that's the same as the fake imposter Israel that was founded in 1948 by committing an ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people who were already there….” It couldn't possibly be the same Israel because the Bible, again, those passages were written many thousands of years ago, did not refer to the year 2025 or the year 1948.”  (IMPOSTERS! The Israel of 1948 - 2025 is not the Israel mentioned in the Bible)

By saying this, Adams shows everyone he knows next to nothing about prophecy in Scripture or the facts. Jews were there in Israel and they have been there for centuries.

Saying that the passages written thousands of years ago do not apply to the future, in our day, is absurd. That’s what prophecy is, but he does not believe in prophecy as it is written of in the Word.   He has his own way, choosing to accept and deny what he wants.

The second coming according to Mike Adams -- how the world REALLY ends.

“God nukes the whole planet with a series of common impacts. Nukes everybody, kills everybody. And in that process, also kills Satan, kills the beast, kills the sorcerers,… kills everybody and  everything. And then he resurrects the good people (064 - After planetary WIPEout).

No, that is not at all how the Bible describes it. His view is more like a sci-fi movie portrayal of Armageddon. It was Abraham who asked God, Will he destroy the wicked with the righteous, and he didn’t. He didn’t in Noah’s day either, but he will when he sends the last 7 trumpets that Adams says are all comets/meteors on earth.

“The stars will fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven. Now, the sign of the Son of Man is a giant comet(02 - God issued his END TIMES warning).

“Daniel chapter seven, verse 13. I was watching in the night visions and behold one like the son of man coming with the clouds of heaven.  Oh, this is like Christ on a horse coming out of the sky, but it's not Christ. It's a giant flaming rock(079 - Daniel Ch. 7 - Is the BEAST a symbol of Zionism? God destroys Israel and ends evil with the 666 weapon).

Is Adams teaching about a comet that's going to destroy us all? Yes, and this is absurd, an intentional denial of God's word, which says the complete opposite.

When it says Jesus is our rock, it does not mean a rock from space.

“the bottom line here is, again, Jesus isn't coming to save you,  and you don't need Jesus to save you, because all you have to do to be saved in your soul is to be a good person. You don't need  Jesus on a white horse. …  all  of humanity will be exterminated by God using a planetary great cosmic reset weapon system, which is impact events that destroy Earth and flatten it, literally flatten it” (God Already RESET Planet Earth in the Days of Noah)

Adams takes issue with a certain person he is quoting, saying, "Jesus will return and end mankinds madness, we know that is not exactly what will happen. God does send, … God sends something to end mankinds evil, buts its not Jesus on a horse flying out of the sky, which is the way people interpret it in Revelation (19). Rather it is a comet out of the sky which people mistake to be Jesus.”  (079 - Daniel Ch. 7)

Adams insists it is not Jesus but the last of 7 comets that strikes the earth, and this one kills everyone, both good and bad people. All done, just like the Word says, right?… not even close.

Adams “it's not even that Christ comes back to earth to defeat evil, but rather, God sends a comet that has a name that refers to God that actually strikes the earth and ends all evil” (68 - 1 Thessalonians Ch 5 - The timing of the RAPTURE). The only comet I heard named was one of Santa’s reindeer.

“It just says there's this thing on a white horse coming out of heaven in the sky…. It's not Jesus.” (079 - Daniel Ch. 7). This thing is the savior.

It doesn't even describe Christ on a white horse coming out of the sky. What it actually describes is a giant earth ending comet colliding with earth.” (2025  Easter Sunday special message from the Health Ranger: God DESTROYS all human life on Earth).

“humankind does not get saved by God. There is no Christ on a white horse coming out of the heavens.” (ibid.)

This, he says over and over, that Christ is not coming again. He mocks the Second Coming, replacing Jesus with a comet.

“The Bible in Revelation actually never says it's Jesus. It just says there's this thing on a white horse coming out of heaven in the sky.” (079 - Daniel Ch. 7 - Is the BEAST a symbol of Zionism? God destroys Israel and ends evil with the 666 weapon)

As if scripture must name the person who comes from heaven to earth every time and place he is referred to.

Adams with pride says, “You see, a lot of Christians just believe whatever they want to believe. And you know, they're afraid. They're afraid to hear the truth about much of anything, really. So they tell themselves these just tales, these fictions, and they call it Christianity, but it isn't.” (ibid)

But this is exactly what he is doing! As he avoids the truth. This is what Mike Adams thinks of those who believe the word. Adams says, “if they think that Jesus rides in on a horse in Revelation 19, then if they keep reading, then they must also think that Jesus kills everybody and eats them.  Because that's like the next paragraph. So it's so bizarre. And as I wrote, these Christians don't even know their own scripture. They've all been taught a pack of lies by their Christian pastors who also don't know scripture” (My Job is to help you FREE YOUR MIND from delusions and myths)

And who gave you this Job Mr. Adams? Your imagination does not free anyone; it brings them into a false view that is bondage.

“Jesus is going to come out of the sky on a white horse. Okay, they are delusional. They're practically mentally ill.”(God already RESET planet Earth in Days of Noah, proving he’ll unleash mass killings to defeat evil)

Adams goes into some deep speculation about the end times trumpets, he interprets them as comet impacts. 7 comets hit Earth, until the total destruction of whatever is left occurs.

“great impacts that ultimately destroy earth … the tribulation period is this period of impacts that destroy all of human civilization” (074 - Joel, Ezekiel, Peter, Matthew and John)

God rains down some more comets. That's Jesus on the white horse with the divine army. So everybody's wiped out. Everybody's dead.” (064 - After planetary WIPEout )

Adams' interpretation,  “There is no Jesus on a white horse coming out of the sky. In fact, it's not even a horse. It's the day of the Lord. It's a comet. It's a giant white comet with an army of comet fragments behind it that impact the earth.” (God already RESET planet Earth in Days of Noah, proving he’ll unleash mass killings to defeat evil)

"As we have described is almost certainly a bright shining comet. But all the hundreds of millions of fragments behind it are called an invading army” (074 - Joel, Ezekiel, Peter, Matthew and John all warned about the final "Day of the Lord" END TIMES events)

The Saints behind him are fragments. I guess everyone is a fragment who comes from heaven that follows Jesus, the comet. When he returns, we, too, turn into comet dust.’

This thing on a white horse coming out of heaven in the sky,…I have been over this many times, its not Jesus, doesn’t claim to be Jesus. It is in fact Gods weapon against the middle east against Israel.” And that weapon is a comet.”  (Sermon 079)

Adams says, “Revelation 19:11, doesn't even mention Christ at all.  Rather, it refers to God flinging giant flaming meteors to destroy the earth. Those who sinned against him” (X post Adams on April 22, 2023). How many know meteors are different than comets?

Adams says, “I challenge anybody to tell me where it says Christ is going to come out of the sky on a white horse and save everybody. doesn't say that at all. Not in any version. I've checked. (ibid.)

I take up his challenge and publicly refute Mr. Adams' mockery as he claims to be a teacher of the word. To prove this, we will look at how Scripture interprets Scripture to give us the accurate truth. For no prophecy is of a private interpretation (2 Pt.1:20).

Let’s see who is mistaken? The Word of God vs. the word of man

Adams states, “this comet impact came with a name tag… this sent to earth to defeat evil. It doesn’t mean that Christ himself in this instance is riding an actual white horse and has soldiers that wage and actual battle. This is God sending a meteor to destroy wickedness…”(063 - God's comets DEFEAT the Devil, the Beast and the Anti-Christ sorcerer).

A comet cannot distinguish good from evil. He is constantly taking away the proper understanding of God’s wrath on evil, which he said is specifically upon Israel.

The Bible says the Lord himself descends. He does not send a comet in his place, in his name to do judgment. According to Adams' interpretation, (which he learned from Jeffrey Goodman the archeologist), he is teaching nearly every time you read of fire from heaven it is not God producing it supernaturally, but that he is using a comet. While it can be agreed that some may be comets, meteors, things from space in the tribulation -- definitely not all are comets.

“so many Christians cannot accept this;because they've been told time and time again that Jesus comes out of the sky on a white horse, which they think that that comes from Revelation chapter 19, because they've never read Revelation 19”  (God Already RESET Planet Earth in the Days of Noah

What you just heard is a man approaching the Word by his own intellect, that leads him to an unskilled interpretation, which changes prophecy (which we are all warned not to change the word in that very book he is quoting). I have read Revelation 19 as have many others. Who is this novice telling everyone they are wrong?

What does the bible say on this? Does the Bible; not just the book of Revelation not say it is Jesus?  Let’s read it for ourselves to determine if Adams is drawing his view from the scripture or using his vain imagination to reach another conclusion?

Rev 19:11-16 "Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.  And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

When John saw Jesus in heaven Rev. 19:12 “His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns.”  Like fire but not fire. This is part of the description given at the beginning of the book Rev 1:13 describing One like the Son of Man, A person who is Jesus. Rev 2:18 confirms him being “the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire” On this alone Adams is proven wrong.

The word ‘He’ (him) is used 9 times in this passage alone, showing it is speaking of a certain person.

This is not a comet but Jesus himself, He does not have two comets as eyes? This is what happens when you replace the literal with made-up allegorical interpretations; nothing makes sense. You deny an important segments of the Word. It certainly does identify this is as a person, not a comet. This person is on a white horse. Jesus is the ‘he’ all throughout these verses. The ‘He’ that is called the Word of God (Jn.1), who is faithful (1 Thess.5:24; 2 Thess. 2:13) and true (1 Jn.5:20 Jn.17:3; Jn.8:14); Jesus is called faithful and true, (Rv.1:5; 3:14).  Rev. 22:6 Jesus says to John, "These words are faithful and true” (21:5. Rv.3:7, 14).

This ‘He’ is called King of Kings (1 Tim. 6:15). A comet is not called the Word of God, nor the King of Kings, nor Lord of Lords.  1 Tim. 6:14-15 speaks of our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing, who is “the King of kings and Lord of lords” so it identifies this person on the white horse as Jesus. In Rev 17:14 identifies Jesus again,  “These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."

A good portion of Revelation 19 Adams has distorted beyond recognition.

In Rev. 6:11 we read of the saints who die who are given white robes. Rev 7:9 “clothed with white robes.” Rev. 19:11 “heaven opened, and behold, a white horse.” V14 “the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.”

The armies of heaven, which are the saint’s glorified are not comets or fragments of a comet to earth follow him to earth.

Jude 14-15 presents Enoch's ancient prophecy, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all.”

“Thus the LORD my God will come, And all the saints with You.” (Zech. 14:5) Saints are not comets.

Jesus returns in glory, Matt. 16:27 “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels.” Fire light is Gods visible glory.

Adams emphatically denies this personal coming. If he changes this one crucial point, how many others does he also change?

Jesus will return just as the angels said he would to his disciples. Acts 1:11 “this same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

Adams says, “Now out of his mouth goes  a sharp sword that with it he should strike the nations. Clearly, this is the same thing. Same thing. Out of the mouth of this comet that comes as a white horse is a weapon that strikes the nations. It continues, And he himself will rule them with a rod of iron. Iron is the most prominent element that is in the core of many meteorites, unless they are comets,  which is mostly an ice core.” (063 - God's comets DEFEAT the Devil, the Beast and the Anti-Christ sorcerer)

‘a sharp sword’

2 Thess. 2:8 describes Jesus' second coming, where the lawless one “the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.”That would be like the fire seen in the Old Testament. The brightness is his glory, not a comet.

Rev. 1:16-17 “out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.”

Rev 19:15-16 out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. …He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Rev 19:21-20:1 “They were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.”

We all understand that the two-edged sword is used to represent the Word, who is the person of Jesus and what God speaks.  “The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword” (Heb. 4:12). The Word is what he speaks at his return, which slays the antichrist and his armies instantaneously.

‘Rod of Iron’

The New Testament says in Rev. 2:27 “He shall rule them with a rod of iron.” This is the same he from the Old Testament in Ps 2:7-9 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You  The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron.”

Scripture says He rules the nations with a rod of Iron not destroys them with the rod of iron. Rev 12:5 cites to us, “a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron.”

The nations are the Son of God’s inheritance, not a comet.

Adams explains, “that he himself will rule them with a rod of Iron: What is a rod of Iron to Adams? “In biblical times the rod is a weapon that you use to strike with, you strike someone with the rod.” (Mike Adams Sermon 063 - God's comets DEFEAT the Devil, the Beast and the Anti-Christ sorcerer).

A rod is mentioned in various ways. A rod was what a shepherd used to throw at the sheep, to stop them from going astray, off a cliff; it is not used on people (The shepherd would guide them along using his staff). David said in Ps 23:4 “your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Rev. 2:27 speaks of Jesus, 'He shall rule them with a rod of iron.” Meaning, by strength and in justice, and will have a response for any wrongdoing quickly.

Adams does not find any recourse but to skewer himself further. As his reinterpretation completely changes this great scripture on Jesus’ return. That is because he is a last-day mocker, not a Bible teacher like he claims. One should recognize his conclusion as Inane, invalid, insipid and incongruous to the rest of the Scripture.

Adams emphatically states, “it's not even that Christ comes back to earth to defeat evil, but rather, God sends a comet that has a name that refers to God that actually strikes the earth and ends all evil, destroys wickedness across the planet” (68 - 1 Thessalonians Ch 5 - The timing of the RAPTURE).

Not only does he deny a literal second coming of the savior, but he also eliminates the rapture and the Millennium (a 1,000 years) of Christ as king on the earth, ruling from Zion with the transformed church ministering as eternal kings and priests to the world under him. He can’t have Zion, Jerusalem nor Israel exalted because of all the name-calling he has attributed to them.

Using vain imagination, he reached another conclusion about comets.  I have yet to hear this type of interpretation from the worst of cults. He stands alone in this.

What is not in question is that there may be comets hitting the earth during the tribulation, but to claim this particular event IS a comet and not Jesus returning. The Bible says the Lord himself descends triumphantly, gloriously, coming with his saints and angels to earth.

2 Thess. 1:7-10 “ the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe

Jesus returns personally, it is not a comet with his name.  He comes to  judge the wicked from the righteous, the sheep and the goats.

Acts 17:31 “He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained”

Matt 25:31-32 that day is, “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another

2 Thess. 1:9-10 “These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe”

Adams has a whole different “end times going on.”  In fact all through the New Testament it proclaims Jesus’ return, which apparently Adams does not want to accept. The day Jesus returns (Zexh.14:2-4) He fights in the day of battle And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east." which means Jesus does return, comets do not have feet or stand.

Matt 24:30 “they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Jesus has identified himself as the son of man, not as a comet.

Jesus is teaching of HIS return, in Matt 24:36-38 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”  Jesus ends his treatise in v.42 “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.” The Son of Man is the Lord. Only those with no biblical understanding can conclude what Adams and his colleagues have come to.
