Pt. 2 A tribulation is coming
For all those who have the spirit of the age, who love this world and hate Christ and Gods people, The Tribulation is coming. There is no escape, we are now on a fast track to the end of the age that is predicted in the Bible by the only God, the creator of all things who knows the end from the beginning. The Church is to be looking for the Lord coming to remove u from this planet ravaged BY SIN that is increasing daily. This article is addressing and to make clear scripture on the many who are confused of last day timing. The early church and prophecy Whatever brilliance sen by certain early church writers ( the pastors, apologists and evangelists, i.e. Ireneaus showed on his arguments on the nature of God against others like the Gnostics/ mystics that opposed Jesus as God the Son; he nor others couldn’t know all there is about prophecies of the end, no teacher could back then. We are told by Daniel the prophecies were sealed until the time of the end. That would not be near the beginning of the churches dispensation but in the latter time of the last days. We are in this time period today There were all kinds of opinions in the early church, they were not cemented into a single block. Some believed in a pre trib rapture others in post trib, still others in none (which is especially wrong). However, none believe the tribulation already took place. What first changed the believer’s prophetic outlook was the Church in Rome, Ignoring its spiritual influence They made the church a political force and have its rule in the world made it look like we entered the millennium. Teaching the church replaced Israel, that Rome was the new Jerusalem the holy city, that Israel forfeited their covenant. All one has to do is study the passages of the Day of the Lord called ‘Jacobs troubles’ Jer.30:4-7 relating to the Jewish people to understand what must take place first . From the Old Testament and see that it is a day (a time set aside by the 70 th week) of continual destruction, it is God judging mankind it ends with what is called The war of the great day of God almighty. This time of distress - tribulationis associated with "the day of the LORD" (Zeph. 1:14-17), called "the time of Jacob's trouble" (Jer. 30:7). For God intends on using it to have the covenant nation repent. The Tribulation starts with the rider on the white horse whose intent to bring about peace and safety, a deception: (which Paul explains when the world agrees this has arrived, sudden destruction comes instead). The rider carries a bow but does not use arrows. For this false Christ will promise peace and make an agreement, many see this as the peace treaty with God’s people Israel (Daniel 8:25; Daniel 9:27) that will affect the world. When ‘the Antichrist’ comes to his time to have power, he will deceive the entire world by his intentions and using satanic powered false signs and wonders (2 Thess. 2:1-12). They will look authentic. For those who do not exercise discernment from the word they will not be able to distinguish them. We read of the people of the world being forced to receive a mark by this Counterfeit CHRIST figure. At this point all who are Christian are being heavily persecute, there are no more new Christians for time. How The Tribulation commences “But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” (1 Thessalonians 5:1-3) Let’s look at v.3-4 For when theysay, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape .” Notice the requirement is ‘they’ (the world is saying Peace and safety .) There is number of reasons why the world would say this. The first and foremost reason is Israel needing to have peace with those who are her enemies; those who surround her. This has them sign a peace treaty which is a trap. We need to understand “they,” that this time period comes upon them, not us. What comes- is sudden destruction –God’s wrath on those who are children of darkness. The apostle Paul previously addressed the resurrection and rapture in chapter 4, now he is addressing the end of the age. But we are not those of whom the apostle writes in 1 Thess. 5:4-9 “ But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath , but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” This salvation he speaks of is the redemption of our bodies (as spoken in Romans 8), having the spiritual salvation we received at first is to be completed by the resurrection/rapture. The Day of the Lord - another name for the time of Jacob’s trouble, is the “Great Tribulation” (Zeph. 1:14-17; Jer. 30:7; Dan. 12:1 time of trouble- Mt.24:21) “Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! For what good is the day of the LORD to you? It will be darkness, and not light. It will be as though a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him! Or as though he went into the house, Leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him! Is not the day of the LORD darkness, and not light? Is it not very dark, with no brightness in it?”(Amos 5:18-20). Chapter 24:1-13 depicts the earth into utter desolation because of the judgments of the tribulation:In verses 19-20 the earth is pictured as staggering from the judgments of the tribulation which have fallen upon it because of sin: “ The earth is utterly broken, the earth is rent asunder, the earth Is shaken violently. The earth shall stagger like a drunken man, and shall sway to and fro like a hammock; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon It, and It shall fall, and not rise again.” Isaiah 2:10-22 describes a Day of the Lord that will involve the sixth seal described by the Apostle John in Revelation 6:12-17.
God's wrath (Zeph. 1:14-15), it is evident that the Bible associates tribulation with the outpouring of God's wrath. Similarly, Romans 2:5-9 and 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 links tribulation with the future outpouring of God's wrath on the unsaved who are in rebellion. Isa 13:9 “Behold, the day of the LORD comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger.V.13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth will move out of her place, In the wrath of the LORD of hosts And in the day of His fierce anger. We the church are told“to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come” ( 1 Thess.1:10). The day of the Lord is the most common biblical term for the Great Tribulation. Jer.30:4-7 called time of Jacob’s troubles relating to the Jewish people. As it was Jacob who wrestled with the lord until the lord touch his hip and he then walked with a limp Isa.40:1-2 The policy God has set forth is that Israel always receives double for her sins During the coming Great Tribulation, God will preserve a remnant of Israel to spread the great commission. This is the second purpose of the tribulation is to bring about a worldwide revival. This purpose is given and fulfilled In Revelation 7:1-17. and then among Israel Mt.24:14. At this time there will be tremendous persecution of the saints (verses 9.10), Revelation 6:9-11 those who have been slain ask in heaven when they will be avenged The Great Tribulation will end when Israel's rebellion against God ends, at Armageddon. According to Daniel 9:24, Israel will not stop its rebellion against God until all 70 weeks of His extended program for that nation complete their course ("to finish the transgression" the word translated "transgress “ meaning to rebel).' In other words, Israel's rebellion will end when the 70th Week ends by their national repentance. We see a great number of Believers dying, innumerable, as there are those being saved by the144,000 who are sealed Jewish believers that are protected through the tribulation to evangelize. 144,000 who evangelize are protected. Notice its not the church giving the gospel in the Tribulation but Jewish believers, a separate group of saints. Jesus says When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith [lit. `the faith'] on the earth?” (Luke 18:8) Jesus knows He is not returning to a Christianized world under the church. In fact there will be very few believers left that survive the antichrists onslaught of elimination. We see a great number of Believers dying. Rev. 7:14, " These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Matthew 24:43-44 numerous times Jesus said “Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man comes. The emphasis of the second parable is on readiness: therefore be ye also ready. Again, being ready can only be obtained by means of salvation, bring preserved by the holy Spirit.
This separated time period (of the 70th week) is to make an end to wickedness and the wicked ones Isa.13:9 Isa.24:19-20 this include both Jews and gentiles. What the tribulation will really be like
If you are not looking for the coming of the Lord you read of what is coming to the earth at your own risk. This is the Bibles view that is being denied, even by many Christians today. We are told God tests us with his eyelids. Which side you decide to be on is important, for it will determine your destiny. Basically we are being held at 1 minute to sunset, where the spread of darkness that overtakes the world is next. (1 Thess. 5). Many live in non - reality, in a world of what they think it should be like, usually made in their image of not understanding. Technology has them captivated and captive instead of to learn what is truth. Mankind has allowed our sins to rule and influence our choices and sin has nearly reached its zenith point today, it certainly will saturate the world in the tribulation like in the Days of Noah. The day (time) of DARKNESS Isa 13:9-12 “ Behold, the day of the LORD comes,Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger,To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not give their light; The sun will be darkened in its going forth, And the moon will not cause its light to shine.” "I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir.”
Isa 26:21 “ For behold, the LORD comes out of His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; The earth will also disclose her blood, And will no more cover her slain. Isa 24:21-23 “ It shall come to pass in that day That the LORD will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth. They will be gathered together, As prisoners are gathered in the pit, And will be shut up in the prison; After many days they will be punished. Then the moon will be disgraced And the sun ashamed; For the LORD of hosts will reign On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem And before His elders, gloriously.” Isa 30:26 “ Moreover the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun , And the light of the sun will be sevenfold, As the light of seven days, In the day that the LORD binds up the bruise of His people And heals the stroke of their wound.” Isa 30:27-28 Behold, the name of the LORD comes from afar, Burning with His anger, And His burden is heavy; His lips are full of indignation, And His tongue like a devouring fire. His breath is like an overflowing stream, Which reaches up to the neck, To sift the nations with the sieve of futility; And there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, Causing them to err.” Ps 68:17-18 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, Even thousands of thousands ; The Lord is among them as in Sinai, in the Holy Place. 18 You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts among men, Even from the rebellious,That the LORD God might dwell there.” The world wants Christianity gone. But removing Christians off the earth brings to them to their own judgment, fulfilling the very prophecies they do not believe in. Jesus said “ For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.” (Matt 24:21-23 This has not taken place, it is yet future (as all prophecy is at the time written) and will happen just as Jesus said it would. Yet today many say there is no rapture, that there is no tribulation and that we are transferring into the kingdom, or, we are already in it. Having a post millennial view. The way the majority of the bible is used today is in single words, not in its context of what it means in sentences or paragraphs. Misapplied (slightly or greatly) it can mean whatever the person wants it to mean. The Tribulation does not begin with the rapture, it begins with a peace treaty to be signed that is fraudulent on its promise. We find this in the book of Daniel explaining of when the Messiah comes (And after the sixty-two weeks) and dies (shall be cut off, but not for Himself). Jerusalem the city and the sanctuary is destroyed as a flood (Titus and his armies 68- 70 ad). It then turns to subject of the far future, “And till the end of the war desolations are determined. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week. He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate." ( Dan 9:26-10:1) This is confirmed by Jesus in Matt 24:15-17 " Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” Paul writes of this event, 2 Thess. 2:4 “who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” Jesus in Mt.24 continues V. 21 “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.” So we are not in the tribulation yet but the CLOUDS OF DARKNESS are gathering. We read in Mt. 24:23-25 a continual counterfeiting on confusion breaks out in history where “ false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.” The signs and wonders Jesus warns of in the last days are to deceive God’s people, not by God’s people. John addressed the religious leaders who came out to him in the desert "Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance” ( Matt 3:7-9) John never did a sign or a wonder but had a message to bring an action. V:32-35 “ Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near--at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” |
