p.1 The Newest false prophet, or a Christ?

The Ahmadi religion of peace and light began in the 1990s in Basra, Iraq, Founded by the Qaim of the Family of Mohammed, Abdullah Hashem, who was an Iraqi Shia Muslim leader who claims to be the pre messianic alYamani, a significant figure in Shia eschatology, and a precursor to the Mahdi's reappearance. The movement was based in Sweden but, in 2021, now having its headquarters in England, they are active in 40 countries. He gave Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq the proclamation to claim he is Abdullah, the 2nd Mahdi.

The Ahmadi are also known as the Black Banners of the East, the Ansar of Imam Mahdi and the companions of the Seventh Covenant. He is known by introducing himself, saying, “I am Abdullah,”on youtube, Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq  Here in his introduction. His name is a conglomerate of numerous religious titles, we see him using (hashem-the name in Hebrew, and aba in Aramaic), as well as applying Islamic titles. His claim is that he is from the bloodline of Prophet Muhammad. Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq’s revealing began January 23, 2015, when he raised the Black Banner of the East and through the internet, declared himself as the second Mahdi, which caught the attention of millions. In  a provocative Islamic prophecy, they say the black flags will rise from the east as a supposed sign of the Mahdi's arrival.  Many seekers across various religions took notice and were attracted to his interfaith/ecumenical message of peace which began the awakening.

Claiming to be the messenger of the religion of peace, the successor of Peter, and the true pope to be the head of the church. His messages mainly combine the teachings of Islam with Christianity, along with the intent of uniting all under himself as a new Mahdi, a universalist fulfillment of all these religions. At times he is inviting people to join his movement and at other times demanding obedience from the world, especially the West, under threat of divine punishment.

For the first time in history, we have someone who has come forward with nearly all the names and titles, to be not just an antichrist candidate, but ‘the antichrist’ as he is trying to syncretize all religions to become as one under his leadership. Let me further qualify what I just said. This does not mean he is ‘the antichrist.’ He is an out-of-context messianic-like figure who seeks to unite all. His solution is, “Let the Jews be governed by the Torah, Christians by the Gospel, and Muslims by the Qur’an.” Which is precisely what I would expect ‘the false prophet’ or a ‘false Messiah’ to say.

I cannot recall in history any one person conglomerating these religions under them. There have been unity movements like the United Religious Initiative, but never with a person as the head. Those who accept his claims say this, while he is not claiming to be Christ, he does say Follow me and I guarantee you I will establish peace between you and the Israelis. I will lead you into an age of comfort and prosperity. I swear by Allah We can build a paradise on earth.”  Which is something the bible speaks of by the antichrist.

He is always wearing a hoodie, he speaks with authority in a matter-of-fact way to convince everyone who he is, announcing, “The Mahdi is here!” He says this with a veneer of sincerity, he speaks slowly and meticulously as he draws on the various messianic expectations found in the world's religions, suggesting that they will all culminate in a revolution of change, of which he offers them.

His spiritual manifesto not only distorts theological truths in scripture but subtly undermines the authority given to the risen Jesus by the Father who sits at his right hand, waiting to return. I am Abdullah, the successor of Imam Mahisam, the successor of the comforter Ahmed, the successor of Simon Peter, the successor of Muhammad, the successor of Jesus Christ. I am the true and legitimate pope.”

The problem with his claims is that there is no successor of the comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, who is continually sent to live in only in Christians, nor is there any Pope over the church, of whom Christ alone is the invisible head.

His claims sparked outrage among many Christian leaders and theologians, both Catholic and Protestant, who saw the danger. Abdullah Hashem has been labeled as Antichrist by those online. Some say he is The antichrist others say he is a antichrist. His followers quickly came forward to try to straighten this out, but they lacked any true knowledge to do so. What really caught my attention was his personal emphatic denial that he is the antichrist. He has responded very quickly to the allegations across the world of people calling him the antichrist. He gives his own explanation about who the antichrist is, which we will get to later.

Sermon about the Antichrist “I am not the Antichrist, nor do I claim to be the Messiah.” In this sermon, he refutes that he is ‘the antichrist. As if the antichrist would admit to be him! ‘How about the spirit of antichrist?’ Or being the false prophet who identifies the antichrist? His followers say he can’t be a false prophet,... well, he can’t be a true one, with so many things said that are wrong!

He states, “The prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihiWasall told the truth and every prophet  did warn about the antichrist.” This not true at all, not every prophet in the Bible warned of him. Granted, the apostles John and Paul did, along with Jesus. While he does use the Bible and recites what is generally said, he certainly does not understand the Bible well. As he quotes from it, “But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.” “and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now it is already in the world.”

He conveniently left out some crucial words in 1Jn.4:2-3, “has come in the flesh is of God,” which according to the Bible means God came in the flesh of Jesus, as the eternal Son of God.

2 John 7“many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” An antichrist is not THE Antichrist. As John tells us many antichrists had already come, even in his day. But in the last days, near the time of Jesus’ return, it becomes far worse.

Did Muhammad tell the truth? Not according to the Bible which contradicts Mohammad and the Quran. Showing that he has studied Christianity and other religions, he wants this accusation dismissed as he rises to become known throughout the world. While he openly claims that all institutionalized religions are “controlled by the devil.” Does this mean non-institutionalized religions cannot be controlled as well? How about his?

He wants all to accept him as a divine messenger sent by Jesus himself to guide Christians back to the true path. but his path is not what is written! Christians need to be on guard against accepting a false unity by this spiritual wordsmith. His call to unity is to abandon the truth of the gospel for a counterfeit message that will lead all to destruction.

Mahdi Abdullah Hashem tells Christians to obey him, that Paul has led them astray. That Paul is a false teacher. He labels Paul the apostle, who was appointed by Jesus, a false prophet, calling Christianity as it exists today a fabrication by Paul. His message to the Christians, “Now oh Christian in the east and the west, hear me and obey, “I am a messenger sent to you from Jesus Christ. Salam. Paul is false and led you astray. The church is corrupt and no longer upholds the law of God.”

Abdullah claims to be the successor of Jesus Christ, denouncing the Apostle Paul as a deceiver, for he is the mahdi. Is the Mahdi the successor of Jesus? According to whom? Islam, not Christianity! Yet he says, “There is no one else but me that you are obliged to obey. May God be a witness that I have proclaimed.

He says he's the successor of Jesus himself, more knowledgeable than any false pope, and, “I am appointed by name in the will of the prophet,” says who, he says!  While many say there is controversy surrounding him, there is not, it is plain who he is and what he claims to be.

My name is also on the tongue of Isaiah who prophesied of the righteous servant.”He takes the Messiahs prophecy fulfilled by Jesus and applies it to himself. “I am also the righteous servant mentioned by Jesus when he said, "Who then is a faithful and wise servant whom his lord hath made ruler over his household to give them meat in due season. Blessed is that servant whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you that he shall make him ruler over all of his goods."

This is the very point Charles Taze Russell said of himself when he created the Jehovah’s Witnesses, a cult of Christianity. Russell also said he was the 7 th angel messenger to the churches in the book of Revelation.

Maitreya, the new age Christ, is said to be the Christ of all religions, and Abdullah says nearly the same. As the Mahdi he is bold and audacious in his claims, “I am a messenger from him at this time” and “I am Abdullah… I invite you to the obedience of the will of the Prophet Muhammad.” Yet he says he is not yet recognized by the main Islamic community, the reason could be that pledging allegiance to any man in our day is not supported by mainstream Islamic teachings. Here we see Rashid Al-Husseini Attacks Aba Al-Sadiq and the Growing Movement.

In the introduction to his book ‘The Mahdi’s Manifesto,’ he writes an appeal like Maitreya of the New Age. In his Mahdi Manifesto, the blueprint is to create Eden on Earth. With the groundbreaking lecture series, The School of Divine Mysteries, Abba Alsodic would quickly become a household name.

“The Jewish people have been waiting for the Messiah to appear and establish justice on Earth for 2600 years. The Buddhists have been awaiting the arrival of the Maitreya to enlighten the Earth and teach the pure Dharma for 2500 year. The Christians have been waiting for Jesus to return for over 2000 years. The Muslims have been waiting for the appearance of the Mahdi for 1400 years. And yet, when each does appear or when each had appeared, depending on the religion which you follow (for the Christians believe that the Jewish Messiah did appear), the establishment of justice on the Earth or a Divine Just State is not something which one man can establish alone.

He cites “God Himself states that even He does not change what is with a people until they change what is with their own selves 1.Informing us that “change begins with us, justice and equality begin with us, and a Divine Just State or a world without suffering will never be possible until we establish justice and equality amongst our own selves first.”

Imam Ali (PBUH) said, “Do not hate the path of truth because of the few that take it.” 6And so, there we see that the path of truth and righteousness is not followed by the majority, and the rule of the crowd or the mob…”Insinuating that he offers this path today.

While he speaks of various other religions, he consistently quotes from the Bible and the Quran, the Quran being far more authoritative. He shows us that he has studied up on what he claims to be. What he is preaching is a new world order under the supremacy of Allah. The gospel of the Riser Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq is about obedience to him as the Mahdi.

In the past, we have seen the Bahai religion being eclectic and trying to conform Christianity into their own concepts. 1844 Siyyid `Alí Muhammad, known as the Báb , started a spiritual reformation foretelling of a coming prophet. They had 3 principles: the Oneness of God, the Oneness of religion, and the Oneness of mankind. “Christ was the Prophet of the Christians, Moses of the Jews - why should not the followers of each prophet recognize and honor the other prophets also? ” (The Wisdom of Abdul Baha p.43). Bahá'u'lláh announced He was the chosen Manifestation of God for this age. This is being repeated by another religion from the same region, Iran.
