p.3 The Offense of ROMAN CATHOLIC Traditions.(The many years of traditions) “In order to attach to Christianity great attraction in the eyes of the nobility, the priests adopted the outer garments and adornments which were used in pagan cults .’(Life of Constantine, Eusibius, cited in Altai-Nimalaya, p. 94) They were noticed, much like the Pharisees were among ther people. With all these traditions ADDED, century after century they have cooked the books. But they know these must be written outside the Bible and not add these teachings into the Bible as if God spoke them. So they made up for the Pope, ex cathera. Where “authority” is appointed to both their “infallible” pope/magisterium. They quote Scripture, which is interpreted by them, so they become the mediator, replacing the Holy Spirit who was given as our teacher, for all their members in their church! "Pope Boniface IV first suggested the celebration of this festival (All Saints), when in 610 he ordered that the Pantheon, a pagan temple, at Rome, dedicated to all the gods, should be converted into a Christian church, and the relics of the saints, dispersed through the different Roman cemeteries, taken up and placed therein. He then dedicated the Church to the Blessed Virgin and all the martyrs" (Goffine, p. 905 quoted the Secrets of Romanism by Joseph Zacchello). St. Augustine (353-430) sermon 14, De Verbo Apost. writes: "Faith in Scriptures is the most Catholic mark of all." The Roman church is without this "most Catholic mark of all" because it has substituted tradition for the Bible, such as the worship of saints, the mass, purgatory, indulgences, forgiveness of sins by a priest, etc., all of which are contrary to the statements of the Scriptures by the apostle, including Peter.
Apocrypha consist of: Tobit, Judith, the Additions to Ester, the Additions
to Daniel (the Prayer of Azariah and the Three Young Men, Susanna, and Bel
and the Dragon), the Wisdom of Solomon, Ecclesiasticus (also call Sirach),
Baruch (also call 1 Baruch), the Letter of Jeremiah, 1 Maccabees, and 2
Maccabees. (Reasoning from the Scriptures with Catholics, Ron Rhodes,
Harvest House, 2000.) There are the seventy-two books found in Catholic editions, forty-five in the Old Testament and twenty-seven in the New. the seven books ( Tobias , Judith, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus , Baruch, and I, II Machabees ) and parts of books (viz: Esther , x, 4-xvi, 24, and Daniel iii, 24-90; xiii, 1-xiv, 42) which are not found in the Jewish editions of the Old Testament . There are the seventy-two books found in Catholic editions, forty-five in the Old Testament and twenty-seven in the New. Protestant copies of the Bible the seven books (viz: Tobias, Judith, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus , Baruch, and I, II Machabees ) and parts of books (viz: Esther , x, 4-xvi, 24, and Daniel iii, 24-90; xiii, 1-xiv, 42) which are not found in the Jewish editions of the Old Testament . Three hundred years after the Council of Trent . On The Vatican Council . What makes this church that is following what the Pharisees did as acceptable to the name they represent, when it goes against everything that he taught on living by the word. Matt 6:7 “ when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. Matt 24:23-24 if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it . Their Pope claims to be Christ is on earth as the Pope in Rome. Along with additions ;Immaculate Conception; assumption of Mary; Purgatory; Papal Infallibility;Eucharist Transubstantiation; Eucharistic adoration celibacy of the Priesthood;Indulgences; rosary, prayer to saints; holy water
The sacraments are at the heart of Roman Catholic religious practices. There
are seven sacraments, (baptism, confirmation, Eucharist, penance, extreme
unction, [holy] order, and matrimony) all of which are causes of God's grace
on His church. A sacrament has two aspects: the OUTWARD SIGN and the INNER
GRACE conveyed by it. The Roman church chooses what they will cite for their doctrine by The Pope having a gnosis of what to add From ‘THE Secrets of Romanism’ by Joseph Zacchello a former priest (first edition 1948) Roman Catholic Practices AND THE APPROXIMATE DATE OF THEIR INSTITUTION Baptism as a saving ordinance in the year A. The many additions added recognized dates Baptism as a saving ordinance took place 90 years after Paul wrote of faith as the entry to salvation. In 1311 Sprinkling was employed instead of immersion for baptism As many opposed the Roman doctrines that were unbiblical The fifth Lateran Council in Rome. The Papacy claim opposition to be at an end! - "No one opposes any more." 1514 A. D 1545Tradition of church made equal to Bible by the Council of Trent 1546 Justification by human works of merit 1546 Apocryphal books added to Bible by the counsel of Trent Many of these traditions as Law were incorporated at the same time by certain popes who resided in charge. The Council of Trent (1545–1563) was presided over by three successive popes during its sessions/ Pope Paul III – Convoked the council in 1545 and presided over the first sessions (1545–1547) Pope Julius III – Presided over the second sessions (1551–1552) Pope Pius IV – Presided over the final sessions (1562–1563). Many Unscriptural decrees of the Council of Trent. In the year 1545 justification by works and not by faith alone were incorporated, Tradition equal in authority to the Bible, The Apocryphal books added to the Bible. Consider how late thee doctrines were made for the church, having no connection to the original church before Emperor Constantine. Lets look at the doctrine of Mary ,300 making the sign of the of exaltation of the Virgin Mary The term mother of God council of Ephesus. 431 A. D. The Papal Council of Ephesus declares Mary to be Mother of God. Immaculate Conception of Mary came in 1854 1922 Virgin Mary proclaimed co-redeemer with Jesus by Pope Benedict XV. 1950 AD Assumption of the Virgin Mary into heaven, proclaimed by Pope Pius XII. 1965 Mary is proclaimed mother of the church by Pope Paul VI The CatholicAnswer (March/April 1993) states, "Whatever was 'officially' taught by the Church in one age is 'officially' taught by the Church in every age....Council of Trent [doctrines] are completely consonant with the eucharistic faith of the Church today." Not true. 2026 all of a sudden Pope Leo XIV has issued a new Vatican decree that officially instructs Catholics not to call the Virgin Mary the “co-redeemer” or “co-redemptrix. What we now see is a Pope that is speaking contrary to what their own church taught by other Popes as doctrine. This is no different than their traditions added and being contrary to the Word delivered by the apostles, including Peter. These are man-made doctrines just as the Pharisees distorted and TO the commands of Moses., they have no connection to what Jesus spoke and what the apostles wrote and taught, we know this because they are not contained in the word, they came hundreds of years LATER. How do they justify all theses ADDITIONS NOT IN THE BIBLE as a need to PRACTICE Christianity, added hundreds and hundreds of years LATER? By the churches authority. Now we understand what Constantine originally did. Roman Catholics listen to men who claim their church authority over scripture. |
