What will the return of Jesus look like? Jesus IS going to return, you can bet your life on it. And it will not matter how good a person you are, or what you call yourself, even a Christian. His fury and vengeance will devour all who are against his Word, for he is called the Word made flesh, and he knows your heart. Fear will overcome the majority of the world for they chose to be against him! He comes in Gods glory as the whole world is able to see his return Luke 21:27-28 “ They will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory “. and they are dismayed and upset. And they should be. Two particular scriptures mention this. Matt 24:30” Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Luke 9:26 ‘whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory , and in His Father's, and of the holy angels.“ It will be clear when the world is in the tribulation, there will be no doubt that everything has changed and something unusual is taking place. They will be in fear of their life because of Rv.6 when they begin to understand the judgments prophesied have begun. Rev 6:12 “ I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood . Joel 3:15- 16 “The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will diminish their brightness. The LORD also will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; the heavens and earth will shake; but the LORD will be a shelter for His people, and the strength of the children of Israel. Matt 24:29 " Immediately after the tribulation of those days (meaning after it begins) the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken .” Isa 24:20-23 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall totter like a hut; its transgression shall be heavy upon it, and it will fall, and not rise again. It shall come to pass in that day that the LORD will punish on high the host of exalted ones, and on the earth the kings of the earth. They will be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and will be shut up in the prison; after many days they will be punished. Then the moon will be disgraced and the sun ashamed; for the LORD of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem and before His elders, gloriously.” Isa. 34:5-8 “For My sword shall be bathed in heaven; Indeed it shall come down on Edom, And on the people of My curse, for judgment. The sword of the LORD is filled with blood.”V.6 “For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah, And a great slaughter in the land of Edom . Their land shall be soaked with blood…” They people had no fear of the Lord, none! Which is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom. One has wisdom, seeks him, the others avoid him. They at this time will have chose the counterfeit Christ and they have his insignias on them to prove it (called the mark in the Bible). There is no changing of ones mind, for their hearts are fully corrupted. Given over to deception. This is one of the main reasons universalism is wrong. it is time to judge the nations by one man, the Messiah. At the Areopagus, Paul said “He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained” (Acts 17:31), that He “willjudge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom”(2 Tim 4:1) Isa. 26:21-27:1 “ For behold, the LORD comes out of His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; The earth will also disclose her blood, And will no more cover her slain.” Jesus says When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith [lit. `the faith'] on the earth ?” (Luke 18:8) Jesus knows He is not returning to a Christianized world under the Church. In fact there will be very few believers left that survive the antichrists onslaught of elimination of Jews and believers in christ throughout the time of his rule. To the chagrin of the world, He’s coming back to rescue Israel. Israel IS God's timepiece for mankind’s history. THE key to prophecy for the last days is vital to Jesus' return. God will first rescue the Jews in Bozrah -Petra, southern Jordan where they have gathered destroying many of the armies there; to stop the antichrists Campaign of Armageddon. Secondly, He will then rescue the Jews of Jerusalem; As a result, He will destroy the final portions of the armies just outside Jerusalem in the Valley of Jehoshaphat Jesus comes back as a lion As Jacob was nearing death he pronounces a prediction over each of his sons. The focus is on his fourth son Judah, referring to him and his tribe's future; the children of Judah. He is called both a lion’s cub and a lion (Gn. 49:9). Jacob blesses his children, and promises to Judah that his brothers will praise him, they will bow down to him, as he will have authority, dominion, and the obedience of the people. The tribe of Judah was assigned to the East side of the Tabernacle , with his kinsmen Issachar and Zebulun (2:3–9; 10:14). The same entry way as given in Genesis to the garden that was guarded after the fall. Jesus is called the LION of Judah who is spoken of as having strength, veracity (Judg. 14:18; 2 Sam. 1:23), courage (17:10; Prov. 28:1.), and ferocity (Gen. 49:9; Num. 24:9) of a lion. Th4 lamb was the son of Joseph and 5th3 lion is coming as the son of David, the king. Rabbinical authority says, Judah’s symbol is that of a lion Jesus is called “the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David” (Rv.5:5-8). Jesus himself says, “I am the Root and the Offspring of David” (Rv. 22:16-17). Jesus is as a lion once, in his return The lion was symbolic (24:9), of the tribe of Judah (Gen. 49:9), Israel, of Gad (Deut. 33:20) and Dan (33:22, “a lion’s whelp”), of Christ (Rev. 5:5), of God in protecting His people (Isa. 31:4), of God in executing judgments (38:13; Lam. 3:10; Hos. 5:14; 13:8), of the boldness of the righteous (Prov. 28:1), while the roaring of a lion is used to characterize a king’s wrath. You do not wnat to have a view of this from the earth but be safe in the sky with the return of asll the saints and angels.Isa. 34:1-2 "Come near, you nations, to hear;… For the indignation of the LORD is against all nations, And His fury against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them over to the slaughter." Num. 24:8-9 God who took Israel out of Egypt and says, “He shall consume the nations, his enemies; He shall break their bones And pierce them with his arrows. 'He bows down, he lies down a lion;And as a lion, who shall rouse him?' V.9Blessed is he who blesses you,And cursed is he who curses you."Refers to Gn.12:1-3 which is still in effect and Balaam is used as the example in his prophecy Num. 24:17 a Star shall come out of Jacob; a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, And batter the brow of Moab, And destroy all the sons of tumult. v.20 out of Jacob One shall have dominion, His return is a bloodbath on his enemies God has spoken that the land of Israel is His land, (Lev. 25:23), and every nation involved in dividing His land will be punished. He says he will punish them for their mistreatment of Israel (keeping them from returning) AND dividing his land (this includes a two-state solution). Zeph. 1:14-17 “I will bring distress upon men, And they shall walk like blind men, Because they have sinned against the LORD; Their blood shall be poured out like dust, And their flesh like refuse.” The bloodiest battle in human history will occur in this place, at this time. Zech. 14:12 “And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.”V.15 the plague will also be “ On the horse and the mule, On the camel and the donkey, And on all the cattle that will be in those camps.” Israel IS God's timepiece for mankind’s history. Separating the sheep from the goats The seating of the king, takes place after the battle of Megiddo,before he enters inJersusalem with the saints. As he judges , he separates the sheep from the goats, the sheep enter his kingdom as promised by the prophets and goats are cast out into the fallen kingdom of angels who rebelled. The main criteria is they will be judged for (since the mark has been issued for the false Christ)They too treated his people like the Antichrist did. Matt 25:31-26:1"When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.' "Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' "And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'( they did what was natural to their human nature to help his brethren without a second thought.) "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." 2 Thess. 1:6-11 ;He “ to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God , and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.”
Matt 13:42-43 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” Its not about knowing there is a God, but knowing him having a relationship by being forgiven by the blood he shed for your sin. That you have become part of the family of God spiritually. His last appeal to humanity, Rev. 22:12-17” And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last." Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star." And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” |
