Christianity is the fulfillment of Judaism?

Christianity is the fulfillment of thousands of  Judaism’s prophecies, it is not a different religion but the completion of it and its promises. It is indeed the fulfillment of what Judaism spoke of by the Hebrew prophets for thousands of years prior to the Messiah’s arrival.

Isa 52:10 “ the LORD has made bare His holy arm In the eyes of all the nations; And all the ends of the earth shall see The salvation of our God.”

The Bible predicts the nations (Gentiles) will believe in Israel’s messiah along with the Jews, who were the first to believe and had established the church within the nation of Israel. You are either in the new covenant (Rom.11, Jer. 31) or not. If not, then you do not have a relationship with God. Throughout the New Covenant scriptures, it speaks of fulfillment of what the prophets spoke over 40 times. Right down to the minutest of details of his life and death.

The alternative is to believe in myths, which is exactly how many of these nation god[s]s are described, and what will become the popular belief in these last days (Rev.11). Christianity is not a separate or different religion of Judaism that Came by Abraham, Moses and the prophets, for the Messiah had fulfilled their writings.

God gave to Abraham three unconditional promises in Genesis 12.1-3. In verse 1 there is the promise of a national blessing-a national land divinely deeded to a people. In verse 2 individual blessing is promised. A promise of numerous descendants which includes a day when those descendants will be esteemed and be the source of great blessing. In verse 3 is the third promise of universal blessing redemption, both for Israel and, through her, to all the world, that is Gentile.

But because of her great sin, the fulfillment of this covenant was postponed. Jer. 2:11 “ Has a nation changed its gods, which are not gods? But My people have changed their Glory for what does not profit.”

Acts 11:1-2the apostles and brethren who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.V:18 Understanding that “ God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”

And this continued Acts 13:47-4 'I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.' " Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord.”

illustratingRom 1:16 the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

Isa. 42:6-9 "I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles , To open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house. I am the LORD, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images. Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them." (Isa. 60:1-3)

Ps 111:9 “He has sent redemption to His people; he has commanded His covenant forever: holy and awesome is His name.”His covenant with Israel is not removed, there are several covenants, not just Moses’ (called the Old) and the new covenant (Jer. 31).

As first spoken in Luke 1:68-73 " Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people , And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David, As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, who have been since the world began, That we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us, To perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant, The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:

Isa 63:16 “ You, O LORD, are our Father; our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.”

The new testament defines who that redeemer is who came from the lineage of David, just as the Scripture says.

Matt 2:6 'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you shall come a Ruler who will shepherd My people Israel.' "

John 1:11 “ Born among his people,“He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.”

Matt 2:1-2 “Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him."Balaam’s prophecy had come to pass.

Waiting until the age when one can be a priest (30), John the baptizer revealed him to all of Israel as the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (not just Israel’s).

Matt 21:42 Jesus said to them, " Have you never read in the Scriptures: 'The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.”

The builders are the leaders of Israel at the time he was revealed to Israel.

Jesus and his appointed apostles all quoted the Old Testament to prove what is taking place is true. It is the Jews who promoted Jesus, is gospel to the Gentiles.

Rom. 15:9-12 “ and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, and sing to Your name."And again he says: "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!" And again: "Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!" And again, Isaiah says: "There shall be a root of Jesse; and He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, in Him the Gentiles shall hope."

Rom. 3:29-30 “Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

Zech. 2:10-12 " Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," says the LORD."Many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. "And the LORD will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem.”

God is the God of all the earth and over all people that he made. However, Israel is different. Deut. 14:2: “For you are a holy people to the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.”

Deut 26:19: “ and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the LORD your God, just as He has spoken.”

2 Chr. 6:6-7: “ Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there.”

I King 14:21: “… Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put His name there . ”

Deut. 14:2: “ For you are a holy people to the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.”

Ps 102:15-16: “ So the nations shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth Your glory. For the LORD shall build up Zion; he shall appear in His glory.”

Isa.2:4: “ For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.”

Deut. 26:19: “and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the LORD your God, just as He has spoken

Deut. 32:9-10: “For the LORD'S portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance….he kept him as the apple of His eye

YHWH -Yahweh calls himself “the God of Israel,” He is NOT called the God of any other nation, Ps 33:11-12: “The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” The God of Israel is key to the gospel and the end of the age.

Zion is called the city of God. Isa 60:14: “and they shall call you The City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of IsraelDeut. 32:9-10: “ For the LORD'S portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance. “He found him in a desert land and in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; he encircled him, He instructed him, he kept him as the apple of His eye

Zech. 8:3: Thus says the LORD: 'I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem.”

Ps. 135:21: “ Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem! Praise the LORD!”

The Bible has over 700 references to Jerusalem- called “the City of our God” (Ps 48:1, 8). Jerusalem is called the city of the great King ” (Matt 5:35). YHWH -Yahweh is called “the God of Israel,” He is NOT called the God of any other nation but the one he had made. Ps. 33:11-12: “The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”

The God of Israel is key to the gospel and the end of the ages. This is why there is so much turmoil in the region.
