p.2 Mike Adams New age teachings Where do we find answers? “As we were created in His image we each possess a fraction of the power of God a slice of omniscient conscious godliness we have only forgotten our connectedness … fooled into thinking we are separate from each other…The ultimate answers may already exist within us, if we find the courage to look within rather than focusing our questions in the world out there. Because quantum physics now tells us-what we find in the world around us is merely a reflection of what we are within." (Mike Adams; THE GOD WITHIN; timestamp 43:04) This speculation is found in New Age teaching; as above, so below, as within so without, which is found in Hermeticism, which is esoterism. It has elements of Greek philosophy, Egyptian wisdom, which came from Hermes Trismegistus. Why would a Bible teacher recommend ‘to look within’ for answers and not to the Word? Because of quantum physics,whichis the study of matter and energy, the behavior of molecular and sub atomic particles. Attempting to explain how everything works, i.e. the forces that govern them. Science, along with Mystics are in pursuit of discovery of a God particle; that does not exist. Adams speaks of consciousness as our connection. The Bible as our basis explains in Hebrews 1:3 tells us of Christ Jesus “ upholding all things by the word of His power.” Heb. 11:3 “ By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” We are admonished, (read this link) “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”(Colossians 2:8). God through the Holy Scriptures has told us of all we need to live by and areas we are to avoid. For “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us.” (Deut. 29:29) On a quest for human understanding, the search led Adams “ through a number of fascinating areas … the most fertile ground for exploration in the fields of quantum physics the many-worlds interpretation and the study of consciousness.” And this is what his conclusion is, “you have always been a part of God of cosmic consciousness.., unity with all the other souls and spirits that are also expressions of God.” “The fountain of the living waters, is the consciousness of God, you join with God in heaven.” (064 - After planetary WIPEout.) The concept of a universal “oneness” is the foundational lie of the New Age Spirituality. We must be aware of other spiritual concepts and systems in competition to what God has given us to live by. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work ”(2 Tim. 3:16-17.) Theosophy is a conglomeration of knowledge and wisdom gleaned from the many religions teaching that all souls are connected to the universal soul. We precede to unravel Adam’s teachings on the universe, consciousness and God to see how any of this coincides with the Scripture God has given us to learn from. Adams, The God Within from DivinityNow.com has concepts that directly conflict with presenting himself as a Bible teacher ‘of the Word.’ On DivinityNowhe says it is “is a site that is about spirituality. It's about the existence of a creator. It is about consciousness. It is about exploring reality. And no, no doctrine, nothing for sale there.…we're fighting for the future of survival of humanity.” So I know you're part of that. Join in. … This is heavy stuff. If you really understand what we're dealing with here, you can't help but be moved by it.” (ADAMS HOSTING THE ALEX JONES show) Adams speaks of this “consciousness is revealed through the realization of self-awareness which is the waking equivalent of lucid dreaming to awaken in a dream…. the waking level is to realize the existence of one's own consciousness this is sometimes referred to as being enlightened” (Adams, the god within). He rejects Hawking, (rightly so) but instead says,“every living conscious being in the universe is inherently connected to every other living being in the universe”(the god within.) “We're all connected to God. As a result, none of us is separate. We're not really separate from all the other people. We're all children of God, which means we're all expressions of God's consciousness.” (24 - 1 Thessalonians - The RAPTURE). The New Age (mysticism) has teachings of a collective unified consciousness, a sea of consciousness. Seeking to understand ones karmic scenarios from the past theyundertake “inner journey’s” to discover what is within them. Salvation, in this context, coincides with a discovery of the Higher Self, consciousness. Adams speaks of Karma often enough, especially in the context of heaven. “You have to earn your way into heaven so to speak. And you do that by having a positive balance sheet on that karmic record” (Divinity Now: Dealing with the loss of loved ones; and the immortality of the soul) “you are much more than your physical self. You are much more than your brain. Your mind is not your brain and your mind is not contained in your skull. Your mind or your consciousness, it branches out across the entire cosmos. You are connected to everything in the cosmos.…You are, in essence, one with everything in the cosmos. And part of the challenge of living in this simulation is moving forward in that journey in order to come to that realization. (100 James Ch 2 - God and Jesus teach us to free ourselves from the SELF-MADE PRISON inside the SIMULATION that is your life.) And here we find pantheism, which is the basis for the New Age teaching. A concept that is found in Hermes teaching of what is without is also within. The bible speaks of us being living souls, with a conscience, which has the image and likeness of God. All creatures have consciousness, but it is the conscience that separates man from the other creatures made before him. There is much to unravel as we move into understanding what Adams is actually teaching. Adams defined this “creative force / intelligence / consciousness is what I call The Divine.”(the god within) Adams explains,“consciousness is a sense of self-awareness that is tied to a metaphysical existence in the world of spirit, which is God's world.”(095 God's gift of CONSCIOUSNESS - Spawning the multiverse, quantum realities and the power of FREE WILL) The New Age teaches, “When God created you He made you part of Him” (A Course in Miracles- Text, p. 100) These concepts can be found throughout the culture the mysticism of the new age in the 60’s, expressed this. The Steppenwolf song, ‘Magic Carpet ride’ “Why don't you tell your dreams to me? Fantasy will set you free Close your eyes, girl Look inside, girl…” Universal consciousness was taught by the gurus who came over to America teaching god is within us all, from their Hinduism. Eileen Caddy, a new age teacher “Seek always for the answer within. Be not influenced by those around you, by their thoughts or their words.” Eckhart Tolle, “The power is in you. The answer is in you. And you are the answer to all your searches: you are the goal. You are the answer. It’s never outside.” Creation by God Mike Adams, teaches “there's a reasonable explanation for how the Big Bang might have come about essentially the rational explanation is that God or a, a sufficiently advanced alien civilization sprouted the Big Bang by injecting a tremendous amount of energy into a single point in multi-dimensional space and we are now the inhabitants of a giant ant farm experiment the size of the whole universe this is actually one of the most promising explanations for the origin of our universe the other leading explanation and I'm not kidding, is that our universe exists as a grand simulation operating inside a highly advanced computing system of some sort belonging to an alien race of beings that is billions of years more advanced than we are there is actually some serious evidence to support this notion” (the God within) I’m continually floored by what he believes. That humanity is an experiment, adding that an advanced alien civilization is involved (even suggesting they are God). No Believer who has been in the Word for any length of time can come to these conclusions. This world is not a simulation, nor a projection, this is not found or taught in the Bible. I know of no reputable Christian teacher teaching of an alien civilization from the Bible, or giving them credit for starting or controlling the universe that is a grand simulation. This should be an obvious red light to anyone. He says this world “ is a simulation, if you will. It's a kind of matrix. (100 James Ch 2 - God and Jesus teach us to free ourselves from the SELF-MADE PRISON inside the SIMULATION that is your life). I suggest you get unredpilled from his teachings. Adams brings in“… the universe in which we live is a very small projection of all the possibilities that exist. We are in one, you might say from a physics point of view, we are in one collapsed rendition of the super positions of possible multiverses. And God oversees all the multiverses because he created them all.”(24 - 1 Thessalonians - The RAPTURE) He mentions “humankind …only represents a little blip in the history of the cosmos. One failed experiment in a universe of many experiments.” That “God's running many experiments on many different worlds.” (057 Ezekiel Ch 38-39.) “Is there a planet where a species might learn to be good, to be non-destructive? And that experiment has probably been performed billions upon billions of times across the entire cosmos , and Earth is one such experiment.” “it's all the same God here, folks. And perhaps this experiment worked on other planets. There might be other civilizations in the cosmos” (061 Human civilization is God's experiment.) Adams sums up the experiment, “to give the gift of life, grant the gift of consciousness and free will so that those beings who have free will can learn to love him and can learn to be good and holy beings. This is the experiment, apparently, of this cosmos, this 3D space. It's a grand experiment, a grand simulation .” (097 - Mark Ch 9 - Jesus teaches MULTI-DENOMINATIONAL acceptance) Mankind is neither a simulation nor an experiment, this concept belittles God’s omniscience, in knowledge, wisdom and love. It mocks the God of the bible. He is not some spirit scientist experimenting to see how things will work out. None of these concepts Adams is entertaining in his thinking are Biblical, they are rooted in ‘New Age’ thinking. He is introducing foreign spiritual concepts alongside the Bible to convince people that this is what the Bible is missing. The projection of the simulation “you think that when you go to heaven, your soul is still separate. Like you're going to walk around in heaven, like the individual person you are today. And you're going to meet other people in heaven, people that died before you. And they're still going to be the same people they were here on earth.… What if when the souls in Christ are caught up together to meet in the clouds with the Lord, what if this is a recalling of the souls back to the great union of our creator? And that's when we become one with the creator, which is where we started. ” … what you have experienced on this earth as being separate from other people, that individuation fades away. And in joining with the Lord, we are joining with all the souls that he allowed to have the adventure of life on earth as a projection, a little tiny sliver of the consciousness of the mind of God.” (024 - 1 Thessalonians - The RAPTURE) “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people. God himself will be with them and be their God. This is talking about the merging of the human soul consciousness with God. That's what this is. This is a, is a merging together of consciousness and spirit.” (081 Entering Heaven is CONDITIONAL) This certainly is not Christianity, but can be understood as having elements of Buddhism, Hinduism, and other occult hypothesis’ all which are found in the New Age teachings of our day. We do not interpret the Bible with ‘what if’s.’ We are not all merging, melding into God from where we came from. This bears repeating, as this portion in his philosophy of life is drawn more from Hinduism, not the Bible. “So if you wake up into a world without a memory, which is part of the agreement of when your soul appears here , let me back up, … this is my belief, this is a testing ground for your soul, but your memories are taken away from you, because part of the test is to discover who you are. …your entire soul history of where you came from and what you did before, so it wouldn't count.” (Mike Adams The Power Of The Contagious Mind INSPIRED Interview) “it's the same thing at a multi-dimensional level if you are unclean at the soul level You're not allowed to rejoin with God's spirit.Which means you cannot reconnect and so you spend eternity in separation From he who created you”… he says after this is the way he sees the rapture but he welcomes other interpretations, “I do not claim to have you know the one and only explanation This is difficult stuff. You know, … these are metaphors a lot of these depend on your philosophies belief systems Or your knowledge of the Bible and many of you listening may have far greater academic”(024 - 1 Thessalonians - The RAPTURE.) These are not a metaphors, and the Bible does not allow for philosophies to interpret the Word. The Word of God interprets the Word; what is made known in the Word is explained by the Word. It’s called biblical Hermeneutics. However, when you merge other outside beliefs to interpret God’s Word (which is a closed hermeneutical system), you will no longer have any semblance to the truth. This may be the way Adams sees it, but it is not the way God has explained it. This man is not a Bible teacher, as he mixes so many ‘other spiritual beliefs and concepts’ that bend, distort, and change the plain meanings of the Scripture, truth has drifted off into the ether. This next quote confirms the new ageinfluence he is espousing,“you want to drink from the water of life, you want to become enlightened to merge with the soul of God . This is the pathway to doing it. Through heaven is how you rejoin with God . And through that you have eternal life with God. …you would no longer be associated with just your limited sliver of consciousness, you wouldn't just be the you that you think you are now. You would realize that you have always been a part of God of cosmic consciousness .”(064 - After planetary WIPEout ) This type of enlightenment (a self-realization) he explains, a returning where we came from, uniting with the creator is found in Hinduism, not Christianity. Interviewer John Nolan asked Mike Adams about Christ consciousness, can it mean, “the actual manifested man, … when one embodies Christ consciousness… what if this physical return is really a return of Christ consciousness ? And what if we all have the innate ability to open ourselves up to that Christ consciousness? Is that something that it could be a possibility that we are maybe through translations and over time and maybe even deception have misunderstood this concept? Adams' response: “Oh, absolutely. I think you really nailed it. Again, the literal interpretation is that a physical human looking being named Jesus Christ is going to return maybe out of the sky. But as you say, you know, the Bible speaks in abstractions so, so often, most of it is actually just a metaphor for something much larger. So the return of Christ is, I think you're right, the return of Christ consciousness.” (Spiritual People Need To Prepare, The New INSPIRED Mike Adams Interview) So Adams agrees with the new age Christ consciousness, and also speaks of cosmic consciousness. both are part of the New Age Movements' definitions for another Jesus. Adams does not believe in a literal second coming. The Jesuit Mystic, Pierre Tielhard de Chardin, taught that humanity was moving towards an Omega Point in which all would become "Christified" conscious of the Christ-self 122within, (Tielhard de Chardin, THE DIVINE MILEAU.” He also taught I can be saved only by becoming one with the universe.” And Who is this God Adams speaks of? Divinity now is where he expresses his views, some of these he has held for many years (site is apparently taken down.) “you'll find this on Divinity Now, … Our universe was created by a Creator. Speaking of physics “before the Big Bang and what created the space-time fabric into which the Big Bang expanded and so on, …, sooner or later, there's gotta be a Creator, there has to be a cause to have an action. And the cause is the Creator.” “And the Creator could be lots of things. It could be a God-like, super-intelligent being . It could be, in fact, a God-like advanced civilization, billions of years more advanced than us. And some physicists have even said that our world is actually a giant physics experiment that has been set up by another advanced race of intelligent beings.” (Divinity Now: Dealing with the loss of loved ones; and the immortality of the soul) he teaches that “physical matter is actually a little an organized wave of probability computations a fact that becomes more apparent the more closely we examine what matter is made of this grand computer simulation explanation also explains God rather nicel y and all-powerful omniscient intelligence that presides over the universe that would of course be the programmer of the simulation we now inhabit there is no logical reason why God himself could not be an emissary from a highly advanced alien civilization that created our universe” … He then speaks of Sim City as an example of us being characters, if they can have consciousness, how God would look to them. As he creates things and they realize they are in a simulated game (waking up), wanting out of the simulation. This SimCity equivalent of enlightenment “is probably how some transcendent meditation masters appear to the actual creators of our universe but if an advanced alien civilization gave rise to our universe either as a grand computer simulation or as a quote real phenomenon sprouted out of nothing through the Big Bang then why would such an intelligence stop at merely one universe if God is all-powerful in other words then clearly he's powerful enough to create more than one universe it follows then that a sufficiently advanced alien civilization or God if you will would seed multiple universes in much the same way that we might seed a flower bed with a handful of seeds each one of those universes …”(The god within) Let’s understand what he is presenting - that God himself is an emissary from an advanced alien civilization? The programmer of our life on earth? Using words like, maybe, could be… what if! This is more than speculation, it is a fantasy; the Bible calls this ‘vain imaginations.’ What is perplexing is that he elsewhere brings up Applegate, “the cult they thought that they were all gonna merge with the alien starship on the other side of Haley's Comet? (God already reset planet earth in the days of Noah.) The Deliverance from the Simulation "little by little, if you grow up and you have some wisdom and you read scripture, you'll figure it out. And when you figure it out, it's that big aha. It's it's the cosmic red pill. It's the realization that this is a simulation. This isn't real. I don't know. Feels real. Seems real. The senses make it real. Your mind makes it real. Not real. It's a cosmic simulation put here by God .” (064 - After planetary WIPEout) This he describes like the illusion that Hinduism speaks of, that even death is not real. He’s teaching what the Beatles sang, ‘Strawberry fields,’ (nothing is real) as if that is what the Bible teaches. If nothing is real (which is basis for eastern mysticism/ religion/ the new age) What of Jesus crucified, dying for our sin? Is not our sin real? If not why die for it? He’s certainly not finding any of this taught in the Scripture! Remember, he is supposed to be teaching his church the bible. He is not avoiding confusion but creating it, as he mixes new age beliefs with the Bible and claims it is the Bible. (That’s the reality that he is creating). He is teaching we existed before we were put in our bodies, that we came from God. “Your soul is sent here to enter your body, along with the wonderful gift of losing all your memory when you're born so that you get to figure it out.”(Mike Adams 099-gods multiverse and how to be the architect of the future you want) This means Scripture teaches that your soul exists prior (it doesn't) instead of it being created with your body. Adams postulates, “This is some kind of cosmic prank from God. Well, a test, actually. It's like, hey, we're going to send you to this testing simulation called Earth. You know, we're going to put your soul into this newborn baby here at conception . You'll actually live the first nine months of your life inside another person's body.” “Yeah, it'll get boring in there, but when you get out, it gets interesting real fast. But we're going to wipe your memory just to see if you can figure this out . But we're going to give you a user guide. It's called the Bible. If you read it, you'll figure things out. If you don't read it, you'll never have a clue. You'll be memory wiped and lost, spiritually lost. You'll have no clue. And even if you read the Bible, we're going to write it in riddles.” Whose the ‘we’ that is doing all this (it's not God). Wipe our memory, which is the concept of Karma in Hinduism, where one cannot remember their former lives (there are none). The Bible is the user guide, but is it in riddles? To Adams whose decoding it, it is. How far afield can one get in their explanations? What kind of Bible student or teacher comes up with ideas like these? If he does this with the Bible, God’s Word, I have to ask, what else is he doing this to? Here’s what he says the Bible is, “essentially the Bible is a document that is a giant collection of cheat codes for how to win life, how to graduate from this world and transition into the real world, which is beyond this simulation , as a person who passed all the tests.He mentions the Ten Commandments, “basically we're given the answers to the final exam of life. We're given the cheat sheet. That's essentially what the Bible is .” (Mike Adams 099-gods multiverse and how to be the architect of the future you want) No, this is not what the Bible is. That is a very worldly, unbiblical way to understand the Bible and life. This view separates one from the reality that we are all living in. This is a man-made philosophy he is teaching, not God’s Word. He is doing much the same that the Pharisees did with their own traditions, adding to the Word that made of ‘no effect;’ null and void (Mt.7:13). “… Great news, isn't it? Isn't it nice to know the rules? That's half the battle right there. You know, you're born without a memory, like you're brought into this world and sort of the cosmic messages, hey, welcome to Earth. Now you figure it out. And you're a child like, what? What, what, what is this? What, what am I doing here? You figure it out, you know? Well, guess what? The Bible helps you figure it out …” The bible that I’m reading does not help you figure out what he is presenting as Christianity, He goes on to say, “we're kind of decoding it here together. We've got to figure it out. You know the rules, you know the so-called cheat codes now, you know how to win the simulation, you know how it ends, you know all that stuff. You realize how far ahead of the masses you are now? You realize how much more advanced you are in the knowledge of how this goes compared to mainstream Christians who go to mainstream churches that don't even teach this stuff . You have the answers. You've, you, you broke the code.” Of course, Bible believing teachers and churches do not teach this New Age syncretism which is teachings and philosophies taken from various religions, other spiritual systems, conglomerated with the Bible. The appeal is that you have a way of advancing yourself spiritually that others do not, by listening to his eclectic teachings that no other church offers. The reason you do not hear what he is teaching elsewhere is that God’s church stays in the Word. Adams is constantly outside it, merging other foreign spiritual concepts with it. Even to the point of repeating what happened in the garden, challenging what God said. “…the Bible. God gave you that gift. That's why John was told in Revelation, don't you dare change a word of this? If you do, you're going to be punished. Didn't it say like, if you change a word, like we'll cut off your hands or something like that ? Don't even change a single word. Why? Because every word matters. That's why that message was communicated because this is the code book for how to, how to win in the simulation. … it's how to do what God sent you here to do. And then when the simulation ends, you will be so happy that you did.” (89 - Psalm 75 - God DISSOLVES the earth). A code book to have us released from the simulation that God made us trapped in? Isn’t he doing the very things Revelation is warning of when changes the meaning of Scripture? And by the way here is what is actually said about changing the words If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book. ( Rev. 22:18) Mr. Adams needs to pay attention, for He is doing violence to the Word of God. The Simulation will End “So if you were God, and you were running a billion experiments across the cosmos, and you would let these experiments play out … you would judge them and see, you know, who's good and who's bad…” If people are“ really, really bad, wouldn't you pull the plug on that experiment?” (061 human civilization) “it appears that God is going to end the simulation, which is something I spoke about earlier in previous sermons. God's going to end the simulation for Earth. In his mind, he's like, well, it was a, you know, it was a nice experiment …”(100 James Ch 2 - God and Jesus teach us to free ourselves from the SELF-MADE PRISON inside the SIMULATION that is your life) “It's a cosmic simulation put here by God. And God ends the simulation at one point, literally just wipes out everybody. But it's not really death because it wasn't real. Your soul is what's real and your soul isn't killed. Adams teaches, “when you physically die from this world, which is not really death anyway, because it's a simulation. It doesn't even matter” (064 - After planetary WIPEout ) Sin is real, and it brought death into the world, which is also real and called an enemy by God (Rom.5:12; 1 Cor.15:26). Earth is the real world, just as heaven is real. In Genesis God pronounced everything good 6 times. Gen. 1:31 “Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.” All was good until sin took place. Then man knew of “good and evil” (Gen. 3:22) Adams is teaching fantasy, new age with Science fiction as he attempts to interpret the Bible. “The real world is beyond this world. And then you are judged. And if you are judged worthy , then you join God in heaven, which is really, I think heaven is a name for the real world, the transcendent reality from which you originally came.” “So you're simply going home. You're going back to the real world when you leave this world. This world is a simulation.” (100 James Ch 2 - God and Jesus teach us to free ourselves from the SELF-MADE PRISON inside the SIMULATION that is your life) I guess instead of singing worthy is the lamb we will be singing self praises to ourselves for finding our way out of the cosmic simulation.
