p. 2 The seed war- the blood war There are those who have invented a seed (blood) war that claims that when God speaks of the days of Noah, they say it means the return of or about Nephilim, i.e. or an alien invasion, or some other variation taking place on earth in the latter days. Since we know the woman’s seed is Christ (singular) we can determine there are no seeds but it is singular. Is there a literal seed of satan? A few have proposed that the demons on earth all came from dead Nephilim in the flood, or after. Others go further and say there is a seed war of mankind against the Nephilim who are demons; still others go even further, saying specifically that the Nephilim are a certain race of people, whom they claim are the Jews (meaning that no gentile can have demons – which certainly unbiblical). And it is by these accusations that it becomes apparent who the source of blame is coming from, the one who causes confusion and division, who challenges the Word. And He accuses Jew’s of what he himself is doing (a Hegelian dialectic tactic). The real war, is a spiritual war on the truth. There is absolutely nothing mentioned of the seed war in the New Testament as they describe, at best one is using their imagination to apply Old Testament Scriptures to Jesus statements for our day. Scripture tells us the good seed is sown by the son of man, which needs good ground to grow in (Mt.13). The enemy sows tares among the wheat, which are left until the harvest (Matt 13:25; summed up in Mt.13:37). Luke 8:10 Jesus said , "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that 'Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.' The “Satanic seed” mentioned is taught to be a literal, physical, and biological. The “Serpent Seed,” one that is genetically passed on to successive descendants by the devil and his supposed actual physicaloffspring. The numerous Nephilim concepts are similar to the “serpent seed,” as descendants, they are said to be sub-human or hybrids who are on planet, planning their worldwide takeover. Much like theories that came from the Latter Rain via William Branham. Eve begot Cain, from her relationship with the serpent. Today's serpent seed conspiracy is a more refined falsehood. As the offspring of the watchers (whom they identify with the sons of God) or has had their DNA altered. (‘watchers’ are mentioned in Dan.4:17, not spoken of in Genesis. They are angelic guardians Dan. 4:13 calls them holy ones in heaven.) Those promoting this:Tom Horn; Steve Quayle; Chuck Missler; Dustin Nemos; Mike Adams; Gary Stearman; LA Maarzulli; Douglas Hamp (who has better explanations than most, but still the same), and so many others who want to make sense of the Spiritual/political conspiracies they see taking place today. Trying to make sense of this broad and convolutes topic cannot be resolved in any single article. What I can do is point out the main non biblical theme throughout this. What they all have in common; they all rely on extra-biblical books, upon mythology for their unbiblical seed theology. The days of Noah The image of God in man that was moral likeness was no longer operating as it should. The earth was said to be “corrupt before God” and was “filled with violence,” men’s violence. God pronounced that “all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth” (in Ps. 78:39 and Is. 60:5). This wickedness prevailed and caused the breakdown and ruin of human families and society. Genesis 6:4 notes that “There were giants” (and here is where the reader encounters the Hebrew nephiyl, i.e., Nephilim) “in the earth in those days,” i.e., in the days of Noah. And afterwards… does the Bible imply anywhere of this invasion event being repeated? No, it does not. Writings of Rabbis, Josephus and the early church viewed the sons of god as angels-demons who came down and possessed men who took wives, man cooperating. The products of those unions were a one-time event. Regardless of whom you identify the Nephilim as, Scripture says it was the sons of God who had offspring (the Nephilim) from woman, not the offspring (Nephilim) having more offspring. The flood drowned all but eight people. The Septuagint translates the original word in Hebrew as Gigantes in Greek, which literally relates to human-born men, extraordinary-sized men (not women). But “Giant” does not express the full and accurate meaning. Gen. 6:4 speaks of "mighty men", known as conquerors, or oppressors, some known as heroes to the people. They were said to be superior, physically in power and mentality. In that time when mankind was being corrupted, they may have worshiped them instead of God, practicing idolatry. We find the legends persist thousands of years later in Europe and Asia of ‘the gods’ coming down to earth; being worshiped. Those who promote this current seed war use the book of Enoch, Jubilees, the book of Jasher, and the book of Giants (all which are non-accepted books for the canon – and for good reason. I will cover these in detail showing the contradictions). All of these are used to prove their theories of this war between humanity and ‘demonic humanity’ continuing, (the Bible teaches all are under sin, and all are offered the way out. None are excluded.) These obscure accounts in Scripture are now corrupted by the current false teachers' distortions (within and without of Christianity), where they teach numerous exaggerated, invented myths as truth. They venture into what the Scripture does not say to explain it more thoroughly. They present their views as Biblical but they are far afield from the biblical record using these books and myths, legends from other religions and history. Within this faction of teachers who present their opinion as truth, they say these creatures, as hybrids did experiments, merging animals with humans (centaurs, minotaur’s etc.) that man was far advanced (Which is only partially true). Let me pause on this to look at the Scripture. This may upset some but we must understand the truth from the Word. Long before Noah (and sons) built this huge boat, an invention no one had seen before by Gods instructions. We read of Cain, who after murdering his brother, “built a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son--Enoch” (Gen. 4:17-18.) He built a city, not a building; how did he do this? What we need to understand is that mankind, closer to Adam's time, even with sin present in his nature, lived far longer and was far more advanced in intelligence and ability than humanity is today, it's not evolution but devolution. Blessing and cursing in Scripture After the flood, on the renewed earth, Genesis 9:26 focuses on Shem, by a blessing and cursing. Noah gives the blessing: Blessed be the God of Shem . Shem who acted morally in the situation of Noah being drunk,possessed the knowledge of God and passed this on. Therefore, the Seed of the Woman will come through Shem and not through his two brothers Ham or Japheth; it is Ham’s offspring that is cursed. Turning to the end of our Bibles we see that the first sin by our parents in the Garden, resulted in a curse placed on what was under man's jurisdiction. In Revelation 22:3 we read that when God creates everything new again, “ And there shall be no more curse.” So, from the first few pages of the Word of God where the curse begins, we have it continuing throughout the Word of God, but in the New Jerusalem, to the new heavens and the new earth, God says there is not going to be any more curse. It will all be over with for eternity. The conflict that began in Genesis then continues to our time spiritually, not physically. We by our faith are the spiritual seed, Gal 3:29:“And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.” This is how the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan are in constant conflict. The spiritual seed, is one who has faith in the Messiah who is forgiven of sin that has plagued mankind. And this can only come by the Word, which is called truth. 1 Peter 1:23 “ having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever” Peter explains how we, born of humanity are corruptible (1 Cor.15:53), with sin present. But the seed he explains is spiritual. This shows it is not about a bloodline, as it is interpreted, for that was settled with Jesus. 1 Cor. 15:53 “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” By the resurrection death is then defeated As we believe in the gospel something supernatural occurs, we are Born of God- regenerated by His Spirit. The seed is the Word that produces fruit in those who understand it (Mt 13 and the parable of the four soils). And the word cleanses us and gives us the growth in our spiritual life, Eph. 5:26-27 “ that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word , that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” Our faith is connected to the Word which is where we find truth, from which we get our spiritual nourishment; understanding it and applying it. There is no ‘seed war’ between mankind and Nephilim today; Christ’s seed is singular. And it includes both Jews and Gentiles who believe the gospel, the Spirit is given to all who believe, who are born of the Word. |
