Lance Wallnau is one of the main promoters of the Domionist 7 mountain mandate.

On Extreme Prophetic TV, Wallnau states,

"The Seven Mountains are - it's almost like its a template for warfare. Because the church so frequently does not have a language for how it goes about taking territory...”

Before we look more carefully at this formulation of taking the nations (and the world, transforming it to the kingdom of Christ) we need to hear of Wallnau's other spiritual ideas that fit more with the new age movement then a biblical model (particularly the human potential teachings).

 He says on video, “God has given you the desires of your heart” (referring to 1 Sam.9:19)

"The DNA of the oak tree is already in the acorn so your full destiny in its glorious fulfillment is already in the microcosm of your heart.”

Wallnau explains "He went to a prophet, today it would be like a psychic (which is absurd thing to say.)

Samuel says you came to me to know of your destiny i.e. Samuel says to Saul in your heart is a king” (read 1 Sam.8:5) claiming Samuel saw what was Saul’s destiny. Saul had no idea he was a king but the prophet could see it.

Getting in touch with your heart is the first thing you’ve got something in you bigger than you are living? “

Getting in touch with your heart! (The bible says to not lean on your own understanding, the heart of man is deceitful). Wallnau is teaching that it is already in you… Which is not what Christ teaches but what the New Age movement does.

To show how far off Wallnau’s interpretation and application on scripture is and being more in the human potential camp we need to go to the only place of record. What does the Bible actually say on Saul being king? 1 Sam 8:19-22 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, "No, but we will have a king over us, that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles." And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he repeated them in the hearing of the LORD. So the LORD said to Samuel, "Heed their voice, and make them a king."

In other words God gave the people what they wanted, it was not God's will for them but they were stubborn, so he taught them a lesson. Which becomes ironic when applied to the teaching of the 7 mountains. A king just as the other nations have, does have an applicable lesson found in it.

Wallnau does what is called life coaching, he instructs people to begin the process, by writing down the top 15 -20 things you want to be in your life, take this of list of things you never experience, never learned, that you have never seen, “when you get done with that list of what you want to see what you want to experience what you want to do or know” take the list and whittle to the top 10, ask yourself what gives me the most juice. “ He speaks of how hard it is to work with religious people on this because they want to help the poor. He says. The more spiritual and religious they are the more they mess this up. He wants them to tell him their passion, what you really want to do, experience, and be, and if that really is it we will put it in the top 10.

Wallnau explains, but many times I have to shake the tree so that they can say “I want to make a lot of money and travel and make an impact and hang out with professionals.” Once people get clear on it you feel the juice.

In other words, he convinces one who is missionary minded to do something else. What he considers more effective or powerful.

After the top 10 are listed he works them down to the top 3. “If I can get you to articulate your passion, and say it without guilt or without unbelief I can create the attraction for favor. Once you start to say who you are and what you are all about you are resonating harmonically with the design of heaven for you… every voice has a signature sound… and when your voice goes out resonating with your design and purpose and destiny even though you don’t fully comprehend it… once you speak what you are all about you attract to you the resources you need to Manifest it. You are on your way to who you truly are and what you want to do, that’s the step.

He says that he always adds one caveat for the real spiritual answer “God show me” what talents, gifts and abilities you have given me so I can leverage my life to the greatest steward of influence for the sake of others.

This may sound noble, good, and even spiritual. But it is an impossibility when you are using a non biblical method to accomplish this.

If I can get people clear on passion then favor will start to work, “Once favor starts to work “the law of attraction takes over”…, he then says that he teaches his clients to operate with the spirit realm. (citing Jesus who taught them to release peace)

In his whole explanation of his ways to do things I heard nearly nothing accurately interpreted from the Bible, only bible words. (video: Extreme prophetic - favor and influence pt.2)

The Spirit realm is something we consistently hear in the new apostolic teaching on warfare. Word faith teachers also teach on a spirit realm where you can claim all the gifts God has for you. This is not at all what the Bible teaches. Wallnau is man of many words, he is clever and can articulate the facets and goals, changes that he thinks ameliorate, i.e. as a life coach (which is not a spiritual gift) when this is examined he is not promoting a biblical way or goal.

What’s the common denominator in all this “I”, “I”, and “I” even though it is not presented as this the priority is centered on you. He speaks about the law of attraction, which is part of The Secret that was promoted by Oprah and other spiritual practitioners involved in the new age (and religious science). This is not anything Biblical found in the Bible. We do find it Christianized in word faith teaching as faith being a force, that what you believe and speak you can have.

My concern is that all the new age speech, in both terminology and practice is being invited into the church. For example, Wallnau saying these descriptive words such as, “resonating harmonically with the design of heaven for you” tells us a lot of where this man’s influences are coming from. Hardly the same as Eph.2:10, which is neither the same in word or meaning. ‘For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

We do not use human potential methods to birth these, they are found in Christ Jesus.

People wake up, the new age movement is in your assemblies, discern what you are being taught!

As far as refuting Wallnau’s way to grace: The Bible says Favor is grace, it comes from God, it is not something we can create an attraction for. Want to have God’s favor? Walk by the word. Paul says we are to walk in it, it’s always there for every believer. And one does not need to learn what he is teaching to receive it.

Wallnau on his website teaches “Favor, charis (pronounced khar-ece), is a word revealing a two-fold operation of the law of attraction. The first definition describes an attraction of God to you and the second describes the release of an influence through you that inclines other people to trust, like and assist you in your assignment.”

Was Jesus full of influence for people to trust and assist him?

Grace is favor from God, not an attraction to you. Rom. 5:15 the grace of God is given freely, 1 Cor. 1:4 "the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus.” Rom. 5:2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand. This the biblical way to understand it.

And we should consider Rom 11:6: "And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace.” If you are doing something, some method to get God’s grace then you are not experiencing actual grace. It is his unmerited favor toward those who believe the gospel and walk in the spirit.

So how does this work (on his website)

1. “Spirit”_CONTROLS matter. All “things” were created by the Spirit through the “Word” spoken and are under the authority of the Spirit. So SPEAK OUT BOLDLY what you are wanting to authorize to show up. 

He further describes UNCOMMON UTTERANCE — it is the power of a prophetic proclamation! Speaking forth and legislating an aspect of the reality you have faith to create.”(underline mine)

This is not teaching the Christianity of the Bible but making a hybrid from the bible, it is word faith teachings with new age concepts. There is so much error in this, speak to manifest, to create reality is not something taught to the church in the epistles. But it is found in other religious systems that are akin to the occult.

Words that are constantly used are: adjustment, shifting, expanding, convergence, alignment, activate etc. these are new age connotations that are not connected to any biblical meaning.

Complete nonsense. We are a kingdom of priest, and only if we are giving out the gospel, for it is God who saves PEOPLE, that is our priestly orders. And the gospel is made known by speaking, not by manifestation (whatever that means). This takes place all is through the tribulation period (Read Rev.7). Because of these dominonists leaving out the most crucial of prophecies, Daniels 70^th week the time of Jacobs (Israel's) trouble they have a different end times that changes prophecy.

Wallnau tell us, “the gospel of the kingdom presents a greater vision: it is the salvation and transformation of the systems of this world so the house of the Lord can be established on the top of these mountains it applies to more than geography.”

This is describing Isa.2:2-4 when Jesus returns. It takes place after the Tribulation, which does not seem that Wallnau or others believe will happen. Instead they skip this part of the last days and make the world a place for the church to rule prior. That is what the dominionism of the 7 mountains is all about.

Is the gospel of the kingdom a greater vision? He cleverly includes salvation in this because he knows there can’t be two gospels. So how can the gospel of the kingdom be greater? Greater than what?

Where does the Bible say the systems of the world gets transformed by the gospel? To be accurate there is the world system and God’s kingdom and they do not unite, converge nor transform. It is people who are transformed by the gospel and God makes them new creatures by giving them his Holy Spirit to abide in them. People need to think from the Bible what these men are offering them.

Paul said Gal 6:14 world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” That is the world system, which is fallen and is going to be removed one day. Not by us, by Jesus.

I Jn 2:16-17 “For all that is in the world-- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-- is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” (See James 4:4)
