How do I know I’m a sinner? Then what! Look at God’s righteous standard, His law, see how many requirements you have not kept (The first one, have no other Gods before him) That defines what sin is, transgressing not obeying his law, commands, requirements. Then look at His Son, his standard, how he lived. For he was the one who fulfilled the law perfectly to its minutest detail. This is why the Bible says Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Christ is God’s glory, he completed all the requirements of the law. Romans 3: 25 “whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. From the beginning Adam and Eve sacrificed and this was passed down to the children. The shedding of the blood is God’s provision, but it is insufficient to save us without faith. There must also be the application of the blood (by faith). Only those who personally apply the blood who will receive spiritual salvation through that blood. The way the blood is applied is by believing, trusting that it cleanses us as the scripture says. We must Believe (have faith) in the facts of the Gospel as written in the Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4: A. Jesus died to pay for
your sin: Rom 5:6-8,
