The apostle Che Ahn, another Latter Rain promoter form the Vineyard

After previously being part of the Vineyard Movement, formerly pastor of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Greater Pasadena the Lord apparently spoke a word to Mr. Ahn through Cindy Jacobs in 1995 that he was to "father" a new movement—a "network of networks" to train and raise up spiritual children who would reach every continent. He founded Harvest International Ministries from that prophetic word.

Che Ahn is the International Chancellor of Wagner Leadership Institute. With a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. He travels the world declaring God's Word, releasing His healing power and leading many to know Jesus. He has written more than a dozen successful book s. https://www.charismanews.com/us/54651-che-ahn-hands-over-hrock-church-to-new-pastor .

Ahn was also president of the board of directors for Lou Engle's The Call. He is one of the main mover's and shaker's in the New Apostolic and has been for many years. His affiliations, associations are the some of the more famous promoters of the Latter Rain teachings.

Ahn’s apostolic network, HIM, claims oversight of more than 20,000 churches in over 50 nations. He is broadly accepted as an apostle by many subgroups affiliated with the NAR, appearing at many conferences, including the upcoming Voice of the Apostles conference.

Ché Ahn, along with John Arnott of the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship in Canada and Bill Johnson, pastor of Bethel Church in Redding, Calif. all laid hands on the disreputed evangelist Todd Bentley approving him into their fold. Ahn is an old his friend of Todd Bentley. at the meeting he prophesied, “He has prepared you for such a time as this ... there is a Branham anointing on you and a double portion of it!” (Che Ahn to Todd Bentley (Lakeland Revival -April 24, 2008 - God TV). Peter Wagner called together this “The Alignment Ceremony” where a total of 17 apostles participated and prophesied Bentley’s success, all of them were wrong.

In Ahn's book published in 2009 When Heaven Comes Down: Experiencing God's Glory in Your Life, he speaks of wave after wave beginning with the latter Rain of the 40’s (Branham) naming other movements that came after attributing them to “ because God brings wave after wave of his glory, releasing his goodness and power, it is possible for us to ride each wave of revival until the next. ” Interpreting this as our going from glory to glory (p.117,118).

This a quote from 2 Cor. 2:18 which has absolutely nothing to do with participating in these false revivals, as he does even more damage explaining how it takes place by immersing one self in the revivals, meaning that this is not experienced if you don’t.

And he ends up in the same rickety place of bad interpretation that all the Latter Rain adherents do by quoting Habakkuk 2:14 which is a promise for the Millennium. “ For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.”

We have already heard of this so called revival taking place among THEM. They claimed it came by Rodney Browne, to Toronto, to Brownsville and to Todd Bentley…

Like many other's Ahn will quote known and accepted good Bible teachers to approve of what he himself is doing. For example he said of Tozer " Today we need prophetic preachers. ... [Those with an] anointed eye, the power of spiritual penetration and interpretation, the ability to appraise the religious scene as viewed from God's position, and to tell us what is actually going on, " wrote A.W. Tozer.

A.W.Tozer in context said, “ Today we need prophetic preachers; not preachers of prophecy merely, but preachers with a gift of prophecy. The word of wisdom is missing. We need the gift of discernment again in our pulpits. It is not ability to predict that we need, but the anointed eye, the power of spiritual penetration and interpretation, the ability to appraise the religious scene as viewed from Gods position, and to tell us what is actually going on .”

Clearly Tozer had the balance that is sadly lacking by Ahn who left this part out. In fact what was left out makes the quote say the opposite.

Che Ahn has been deeply involved with the false revival of the “Toronto blessing.” He says, The 1994 revival in Toronto restored the office of the apostle with the birth of many apostolic networks, including John and Carol Arnott’s Partners in Harvest, Rick Joyner’s MorningStar, Bill Johnson’s Global Legacy, Heidi and Rolland Baker’s Iris Ministries and or church’s own Harvest International Ministry.“

In his book Spheres of Authority: Apostles in Today's Church (Wagner Publications, 2002), he lays out his doctrine that apostles are in charge of "spheres" (called "mountains" by Lance Wallnau), Wagner uses Che Ahn as an illustration of a "Functional Apostle" (a made up term), writing: "... of Che' Ahn over TheCall, arguably the most dynamic youth movement of our day ..." (p. 91). Che Ahn says of Johnny Enlow’s 7 mountain prophecy book- “ This book is on the cutting edge of God’s plan for city transformation.

While the Bible speaks of separation Che Ahn speaks of unity, with some who carry a very different gospel.

He associates like Kenneth Copeland, Mike Bickle, Che Ahn, Lou Engle, Cardinal Daniel DiNardo and John Arnott, to name a few. In 2017, Kairos, a conference hosted by United in Christ met in Kansas City, Missouri, to celebrate major milestones in the international church. Kairos 2019 continues at Christ for the Nations Institute, Dallas, TX.

Their intention is "To promote reconciliation in the body of christ. so let us come together with one heart, one purpose, and one language to see the fullness of christ's love manifest in the earth and the fullness of his great commission accomplished. a goal that cannot be agreed upon because of the different gospel messages.

What we find taking place is a strong promotion of ecumenism and a forced unity without a basis on doctrine.

June 10, 2016 leaders in the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) including International House of Prayer founder Mike Bickle, apostle Ché Ahn (Harvest International Ministry), and prophets Kris Vallotton (Bethel Redding) and Stacey Campbell (Wes and Stacey Campbell Ministries) attended a private meeting with the Pope. along with dozens of other Protestant leaders from North America and Europe. This new alliance pattern for unity allows for no separation on doctrine and destroys exercising discernment.

Apparently at this meeting Mike Bickle asked the Pope if he believed that Jesus was the "only way" to heaven. the Pope did not hesitate to say, " We might be surprised by who we meet in heaven. BUT the only way into heaven is through Jesus Christ. There is no other way into heaven ."

That is a very clever open ended answer. Pope Francis has previously spoken as a Universalist, denying the biblical manner of Jesus being the way necessary for salvation.

This meeting with the Pope is one of many attempts the participants of the New Apostolic Reformation have to unite with Catholics, all in the name of “Jesus.”

At the “Azusa Now” held at the Los Angeles Coliseum, attended by 100,000 people the NAR evangelist Lou Engle (founder of The Call and organizer of the event) and a Catholic leader each took a turn kneeling on the platform and kissing each other's foot to show the new reconciliation and unity between Christians and Catholics.

Christianity Today article, Engle specifically invited Catholics to the event "because he wanted to bring all followers of Christ together 'for the purpose of unity, miracles, healing, and the proclamation of the gospel.'" Again Che Ahn is very much involved with Engel and says "Lou Engle, my prophet friend and covenant brother."

The OneThing conference hosted by Mike Bickle who said, " We have so much to learn from all over the body of Christ-Catholics, charismatics, non-charismatics, denominations, anyone who loves Jesus." Which Jesus needs to be asked, for the Bible speaks of another Jesus (2 Cor.11:4)

Under the leadership of NAR apostles and prophets unity of all is the goal, strength in numbers; which is the very opposite of the unity portrayed in the Bible.

We can see by those he is affiliates with and the doctrines he upholds that his apostleship is outside any biblical norm and his teachings are not drawn from the pages of the bible.

As an apostle of the new apostolic movement we can expect big talk. In this article Ahn wrote in Charisma, titled: Che Ahn: It's Time for Bob Jones' Prophesied Billion-Soul Harvest

https://www.charismanews.com/opinion/55184-che-ahn-it-s-time-for-bob-jones-prophesied-billion-soul-harvest

He states, In Indonesia—the largest Muslim nation in the world—40% are now born-again Christ followers.

I have seen exaggerations but this one takes the cake.

https://factcheck.afp.com/no-30-percent-indonesians-are-not-christian

Christians in Indonesia actually make up less than 10 percent of the country’s population according to the most recent census data .

https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2019/04/01/the-countries-with-the-10-largest-christian-populations-and-the-10-largest-muslim-populations/

The fact that Ahn also uses his friend, a disgraced so called prophet (from the Kansas city group of prophets under Mike Bickle) who has been more wrong than right and taught some of the most crazy doctrines not in the Bible to people as if they were in the bible shows an utter lack of discernment and care of what he speaks.

The article ends with him stating “ Smith Wigglesworth prophesied that 110 years after the outpouring of Azusa Street there would come another great revival—greater than Azusa Street. That is why we are digging the wells of revival at Azusa Street. We are praying for a visitation of God unlike any other."

Does God visit us for revival to occur or do we need to be obedient to Jesus’ command first. We are told God is with us, He dwells in the believers and he has told us to go and give the gospel. That is where the power of God is for salvation, it is in a message. It is up to us to present and explain the gospel and God will honor it with power to save.

Many of these revivalists of the Latter Rain teach to wait for a supernatural event to occur, thus a visitation is claimed. what do we see in Acts 2 or Acts 10? The Spirit comes to the people when they exercise by faith in the Message. The Latter Rain teachers will encourage people to travel thousands of miles to receive an impartation from them, “catch the fire,” and experience some sort of manifestation at the hands of the supernaturally gifted apostle and prophet. None of this is biblical.

While one will find this statement of faith as basically accurate. Though there is a problems with no.8:

"In the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and the expression of all the gifts of the Spirit as valid and relevant for today, as well as apostolic ministry, prophetic ministry, women in ministry, renewal in the Holy Spirit, and worldwide revival or awakening in the end times. HIM was formed within the context of Spirit-filled fivefold ministry and revival, and we have vibrantly embraced these values ever since our beginning.'

Claiming they were formed by (their interpretation) of the five fold ministry which brings revival. So  when the Bible speaks of gifts of the apostles it is not limited to the apostles who set the foundation of the church, it is for everyone. That is what the latter rain heresies are all about.

HIM’s MISSION https://www.harvestim.org

They describe themselves as a network of apostolic centers operating around the world. Recognizing and strengthening apostolic centers is important in preparing for the great spiritual harvest emerging today....The reformation of the modern Church is an apostolic movement, applying biblical structure aligned for a billion- soul harvest.

This means little when they have a very different interpretation of how to conduct church according the the Holy Spirit's instruction in Scripture.

If you had any question of where they are Restoring the Five Fold Ministry they are associated with Wagner University. Impartation from apostolic leaders is expected. They speak of a 5 fold ministry being active through the new apostolic and prophetic. Ahn like other Latter Rain promoters believes and practices that the anointing can be transferred to others through the laying on of hands.

Apostle- Apostles guide and commission the development of heavenly blueprints and the implementation of divine strategies to advance the Kingdom of God.

Prophet -Prophets release God’s perspective and provide Spirit-inspired insight into spheres of influence that launch, sustain, and develop Kingdom direction.

I think I will stick with the Bibles definitions and not our modern day revisionism by Latter Rain interpretation and teachers.

Recently Che Ahn stepped down from being the pastor and turned it over to his son. Stating  "Bob Jones prophesied over Gabe when he was 12 that he would function in all five-fold ministry gifts—and that is very true," Ahn told me. "He is very apostolic, very prophetic, very pastoral, et cetera .

So Ahn’s son will be liken to Paul? With the record of numerous failures from Bob Jones what can we can  expect except more of the same.

On the importance of being “the head and not the tail” on the mountain of government, Ahn speaking as a representative of Latter Rain dominionism reiterates what Lance Wallnau says, “If we share something concerning Christian values, we are persecuted because we are not at the head. Once we do get to the head, all of the sudden we can make decrees and declarations and we can influence that whole mountain.”

Scripture verse for this authority - NONE.

How can he or they speak for God when they do not rightly handle God's Word accurately?
