p.2 Sounds of The John the Baptist multiplication theory “We are they that are crying with a sound in the wilderness “Prepare ye the way of the Lord!!” There is a sound that is ringing out in the whole earth, and “suddenly, He will come to His temple” and take up residence in his people, and with this sound we will see an awakening in this earth such as we have not seen since the beginning of time. It is the early rain and the latter rain in one month! It is the knowledge of the glory of the Lord covering the earth!! Can you hear the sound?? Can you hear the river?? Can you hear the worship?? Can you hear the King of Glory coming in?? Get ready because “suddenly”, it will happen and this is our time!! Shhhh!! Listen there is a sound!!!! (by Jo Ellen Stevens https://www.hiskingdomprophecy.com/with-every-move-of-god-there-is-a-new-sound/) Is the second coming, or the rapture described in this way? No it is not. This is Latter Rain prophetic talk, which imediately disqualifies it. Bill Johnson says "I am convinced that as His government and Kingdom rule increase on this earth. The Church will receive revelation like we've never known." On-going revelation and encounters with the power of God launch us into understanding of things we've never understood before." Again, these fresh revelatory words are necessary to move the church into a new paradigm, and away from the old - the Bible. John Welton in the physics of Heaven states, “Now we are beginning to hear more and more revelation that is in line with what New Agers have been saying all along and we are hearing more and more teaching about Christians “taking back truths” from the New Age that really belong to citizens of the Kingdom of God.” The New age never received truths from God. Considering their thesis that the New Age has counterfeits of the truth they should find it in first the Bible not a false counterfeit movement of other gods and forces. Exactly where are these revelations are coming from? Not the Bible, but from the same source as the New Age movement – the world of the Occult, other worldly voices. Spirits are at work to transform Christianity through those who are ungrounded in the word to bring in other spiritual concepts. This new Toronto type experience is being spoken of by many. What we are hearing has similarities to Eckankar, New age spirituality. Enkankar is known as the Ancient Science of Soul Travel, a Religion of the Light and Sound of God; which teaches a variety of occult exercises by which the ECK student could tune into this ethereal sound of God. An initiation has the individual linked to the what they call the Sound and Light of God. They claim a personal experience with the Sound Current will attune you to God, return you to the heart of God. HU is the Sound behind all sounds, woven into the language of life. It is a rushing wind and is accompanied with a light. What we are hearing from these teachers have these same concepts. Being healed through light and sound frequencies from heaven is exactly what Bethel is proposing in their teaching. John Burton says, “The Tone of the Groan” (CD) “There is a new sound that's coming to the church. It's a sound of revival that explodes from deep within. This groan in the Spirit will break death and depression off of desperate people. This message will rock your spirit as you encounter a corporate advance into breakthrough via the supernatural groan of the Holy Spirit.” Brian Simmons in the forward of John Burton’s book “The Coming Church” writes, “The anointing of John the Baptist is being restored to the Church! ... There is a company of men and women who will turn the dark night into a bright light-daybreakers are rising to bring the dawning of awakening to the nations!" (underline mne) I'm thankful for men like John Burton who hear a sound coming out of heaven, a trumpet sound, calling this generation to something more than good meetings and life as usual. We need men and women who are more than echoes of the past, but voices who prophesy what is to come. I believe those men and women are being prepared to arise and take their place in human history. A message of The Coming Church is needed more than ever! The Holy Spirit has anointed this message, and it will roll on throughout the nations. The call of God is gripping hearts of awakeners to leave the predictability of the church and move into the reality of the ever-fresh kingdom of God!” (Forward ~Brian Simmons Stairway Ministries & The Passion Translation Project) The anointing of John the baptizer is being restored? Where have we heard this before? Not from revelation in the Bible but from William Branham, straight out of the heretical Latter Rain movement. daybreakers are rising to bring the dawning of awakening to the nations" is an uncomfortable phrase, too similar to new age concepts. As Satan (Lucifer the light bearer) is actually called the Daystar in Scripture. It is he who brings a dawn to awaken (new consciousness). This does not have the same meaning as the only place this word is found in the Psalms 57:8 and repeated n Ps 108:3 O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.” Gordon Lindsay Editor of the Voice Of Healing who spoke of Branham to be Elijah, as a new John the Baptist. He said He sending forth this evangelist [William Branham] and others like him to move the people and prepare them for His second coming” (William Branham A man sent from God By Gordon Lindsay Editor of the Voice Of Healing In Collaboration With William Branham p. 105). Brian Simmons agrees with Lou Engle“For the last 20 years, God has used TheCall to gather hundreds of thousands in a John the Baptist type movement to fast and pray in preparation for a 3rd great awakening.” Lou Engle “I realized I was in an Elijah-Elisha moment myself and that for the next stage of breakthrough in America I needed to focus my whole being into double portion sons and daughters. I felt that I could not move forward, unless like Elijah to Elisha and John to Jesus, I myself passed my spiritual mantle on to those who could carry it further than I ever could” https://www.thecallannouncement.com/Engle states “There’s an Elijah generation that’s going to be the forerunners for the coming of Jesus.”Can you see how all this is integrated. Bill Johnson’s says a great end-time revival is to be initiated by an “Elijah generation.” “We will carry the Elijah anointing in preparing for the return of the Lord in the same way that John the Baptist carried the Elijah anointing and prepared the people for the coming of the Lord” (p.184, When Heaven Invades Earth). This is the same as a John the Baptist anointing. All this is Latter Rain speech for Manifest Sons of God group that they are trying to have manifest that was promoted by William Branham. Bill Hamon of the NAR calls this a John the Baptist group “God revealed to me that there are 10,000 PROPHETS on the North American continent alone…. This COMPANY OF PROPHETS will come forth in the power and spirit of Elijah. (“Prophets and Personal Prophecy”). John Wimber taught of “a mystery God is about to reveal, an incredible incarnational enduement of God's Spirit and we will see the Elijah's .... This End time Army will be made of the Elijah’s of the Lord God.” Bill Johnson was influenced by John Wimber, who he attribute to shaping his teaching. He adopted John Wimber’s model that was developed by the integration of the Latter Rain prophets into his Vineyard church, some who are now of the NAR and working alongside Johnson today. Johnson says of himself and associates: "We will carry the Elijah anointing in preparing for the return of the Lord in the same way that John the Baptist carried the Elijah anointing and prepared the people for the coming of the Lord." The last Old Testament prophet, the one called to be a voice in the wilderness spoke words for people to understand, he did not usher a sound or a vibration and the message is still, and will always be “repentance.” If it is something other than this, than it is not Christianity. God sent a sound and continues to send sounds In the book, “the coming church” by Burton, He refers to the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. Acts 2:1-3 He asks to read that passage in Acts chapter 2 one more time. …. When you compare this passage of scripture with descriptions of the modern-day Church as we know it, it seems like we are comparing apples and oranges, or even the living from the dead. Mighty God, I pray the burnings of your Spirit would be transmitted into your friend’s heart. Give them a glimpse into the supernatural yet strikingly real realm of the Church. Give them the capacity to release old paradigms, structures, traditions, mind sets and cultures as they come alive to the reality of the Church as you see it. Amen. Okay, go ahead and read the passage in Acts chapter 2 one more time. Is it becoming a little bit easier to understand just what the Church should look like? You see, as God designed and then launched the Church, it was literally blowing and burning and every one of those in that upper room experienced it. As we begin to embrace the truth that passages like this are not science fiction, and that they communicate actual phenomena that are expected to be normal for us as believers, it will become easier to leave behind what we know and press toward the soon coming Church. We will suddenly find ourselves so deeply dissatisfied that any thought of maintenance becomes quite ridiculous. It should be noted and understood that this rushing wind and fire above their heads at Pentecost was not repeated among the apostles or the church ever again, but that point is purposely ignored by today’s spirit revivalists who speak of even a new and greater Pentecost, a revival of unprecedented proportions as described here. “KINGDOM CHANGE IS COMING TO US You know what the light and sound is going to change? It’s going to change those who have been addicted to revelation without application. Because now, the application is coming by the power of the Spirit and we are going to be able to see and hear Heaven, and we are going to be able to do what we were created to do. We are going to become part of the sound. We are going to become part of the expression of His voice in the Earth. That is part of what the sound thing is about.” (Becoming part of the Sound Ray Huges October 2, 2010 Saturday Morning Session U. S. National Conference – San Jose, California Women’s Aglow) Sounds like some kind of symbiotic change of nature. Claiming to see and hear heaven is not coming from the Spirit of God, but a false spirit. These people really believe this just as the new agers who teach the same believe it. But your belief does not make it true. Being in agreement with the Word of God correctly interpreted makes it true. In his book “Sound of Heaven. Symphony of Earth” Ray Hughes says, “The more I researched and mined the truths for this book, the more I realized there is much we don’t yet know about sound and its relationship to the unveiling of God’s glory. By no means will I attempt to convince you that I am a scientist or an educator. However, I believe that the Holy Spirit has given me some of the pieces of the puzzle to heaven’s sound.” (p.3) How can the Holy Spirit reveal heavens sounds when this is not mentioned at all in Scripture. 2 Cor. 12:4-5 Paul “heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” He was not allowed to repeat what he heard, only John was later. And he was the last of the apostles living. In Chapter 7: Sound of Heaven, Symphony of Earth Hughes shares how God released heavenly sounds each time He interacted with mankind in a significant way and He has created each of us to make a unique “sound” that reflects His glory on earth.” The day God chose to create light was the day music began.” Did he separate the light from the darkness by singing? (Gen.1:3) where did this music come from? There is nothing in Scripture mentioning this. What Hughes is doing is using a little science to interpret what the Bible does NOT say. “We are the only ones made in His image. We are the creatures God chose to give free will to accept or reject His sound breathing in us. The wind does not have a will, and neither does fire nor water. Man has been given a will, because man has been given a soul. Therefore, we have a choice to align our sound with the sound of heaven” We have no instruction like this in the Bible – however nothing will stop his speaking of this new revelation that is not in Scripture. What sound is breathing in us? Hindus’ speak of Om as the sound of the universe, but Christianity has nothing of a sound in us. “Sound through God’s creation becomes individual and therefore, dependent upon the instrument. With our hope for glory—Christ dwelling in us—we produce a sound that’s been in us since the beginning of time. We bring to life the full meaning of Emmanuel—Christ with us, Christ revealed in us. “Then it was revealed in my hearing by the Lord of hosts.” Christ will be revealed as we hear His sound and release our individual, God-appointed sound as His unique instrument.” This is definitely expressing a new age view (not a bible view), which I recognize by once being involved. Scripture for any of this is missing but that will not stop his theological course crossover the line. “Because of Christ dwelling in us—we produce a sound that’s been in us since the beginning of time.” How can we produce this sound when we did not exist from the beginning of time? Exactly what Scripture is given to explain any of this? None! They do not use Scripture for their explanation, and if or when it is used, it is out of context. For example: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1: 27). The word “glory” means “lightified.” From this, we can deduce that Christ in you is the hope of being “lit,” or the hope of being “sounded.” Christ is your hope of producing the sound that has resided in you since the beginning of time. He goes on to say we are instruments to be played before God. To say this is all misleading would be an understatement. According to the Bible, glory, K’vod in Hebrew, means "weight”, heavy. So not only is he adding his own concepts but he is changing the meaning of the Word. In of the Physics of Heaven Chapter 2: Extracting the Precious From the Worthless Ellyn Davis quotes Jeremiah 15: 19, God says, “If you extract the precious from the worthless, you will become My spokesman.” In this chapter, Ellyn Davis shares how we may have to delve into areas we previously considered off-limits to extract the “precious” from the “worthless” and recover lost truths that belong to the people of God.” God did not say what she says He did. In the Hebrew this is a play on words, to "return. And when read in the fuller context is made clear. Jer. 15:19 "If you return, Then I will bring you back; You shall stand before Me; If you take out the precious from the vile, You shall be as My mouth. Let them return to you, But you must not return to them.” Jeremiah was to separate what was holy from the corrupt, he was to confront their sin but now he needs to repent to be restored as his spokesman. This about separating from what is evil not about discovering good things from what is corrupt as Davis interprets The sound of sounds “The sound God desires to release will chase religion from the church and bring truth. He desires the sound of many waters, the sound of mighty thunders, and the sound of His glory and authority in the church.” Does the Church not have the truth? Is not the church the true religion? The Word, which Jesus said is the truth is given to the church! We do not listen to sounds but his voice by the Word. But apparently these men do not believe in this so they speak contrary. Actually his promotion of this sound that he is speaking of will MAKE a new religion on earth, and it has nothing to do with Christianity. The only place[s] we read of a sound of many waters Ps 29:3 “The voice of the LORD is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The LORD is over many waters.” Whet the bible means and what they say it means are two completely different things. Ezekiel describes living creatures, and the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a tumult like the noise of an army” (Ezek. 1:22-25) and in Rev 14:2 John says “I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters.” When God speaks audibly it does not sound like man, and it certainly is not ever attributed to the church. But Ray Hughes says "we have been given the creative ability to release the sound of God.” Says who? How does he know This? They are teaching that God wants to release this sound, by new revelation, not by what is written. “In that blest age the human race will see without the aid of carnal eyes; will hear the soundless sound; will know the Spirit-God.” “And I will show forth wonders in the heavens above, and marvelous signs in earth. Sounds will proceed from heaven and voices will be heard that men will fail to comprehend.” (THE AQUARIAN GOSPEL of JESUS THE CHRIST) Is the Bible is sufficient, apparently not to the modern mystics, we need new revelation on the hidden mysteries of God, this is something we will hear (no pun included) more and more as these revelations from the 2nd heaven gets stronger and increases. Nowhere are we told to look for a sound, or produce a sound. Yet Hughes insists, “Throughout history, just about every major move of God and every extended season of outpouring has carried with it a specific "Sound" unique to what God was doing in that day. It was often this preceding "Sound" that prepared the way of the Lord and in many ways prophesied into what Heaven was releasing into the earth during these appointed times and seasons.” (Elijah list Ray Hughes & "The Sound of Revival" Co-Sponsored by the Elijah List) This is such a twisted interpretation referring to Scripture. Where does one begin addressing his assumptions and presumptions? One of the writers explains his vision they had in which they observed God the Father at the beginning of time witnessing him creating. In the vision they heard him say, "let there be light.” The first words God spoke. Not even Moses who received the words of Genesis to write this had a vision. again one can find these same type statements from William Branham. And that is not a good thing!
