Resurrection questions that Jehovah Witnesses cannot answer or refuse to answer

The JW will tell you what they are taught, not what the Bible teaches. That Jesus was raised a spirit creature and that when we die we all go out of existence.

If you ask the JW what was the common denominator for every resurrection? They are puzzled. Because they do not believe in a bodily resurrection.

All those who were all raised back to life were in the same body physically. The Bible gives consistent teaching on every resurrection. All resurrections are physical. Did not Lazarus come back in his same body? Did not Jairus’ daughter come back in the same body? She did not come back a spirit creature. Why is Jesus’ resurrection different than all the examples in the Bible?

If you ask if Jesus went out of existence when He died, who then who rose from the dead? The Watchtower says the Jesus who came afterward was a copy of the original because he was non - existent at death. The scriptures answer; It was disposed of by Jehovah God, dissolved into its constituent elements or atoms.” (Watchtower, p.518 Oct.1, 1953) “What will be resurrected? The body? No, for its gas disintegrated and its atoms have become parts of other living things...” (Watchtower 6/1/1959 p.346)

He was made into a living spirit creature when he was raised. Michael the archangel.

If the spirit of a man (what they call the life force) goes out of existence when it leaves the body, why does Stephen say to Jesus just before his death, "receive my spirit"? (Acts 7:59)

How could Jesus receive Stephen's spirit if his spirit ceases to exist when his body dies?

Why does the Bible teach in Heb.1:3; 10:12 “But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.”

1 Tim 2:5 “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.” (Heb.9:15)

In Rev. 14:13, The JW version of the Bible (NWT) says happy are the dead who die in union with the Lord. How can the dead be "happy" if they do not exist after death, they would  have no consciousness!

So their own theological teachings have internal contradictions with itself, not just the Bible. they don’t care because they can’t think it through to understand their own contradictions.

"For the man Jesus is dead, forever dead.”(Studies in the scriptures Vol.5, p.454 1899) “Jesus as a man must remain dead for ever.” (Government, p.110 1928)

If the man, Jesus, ceased to exist at His death, as taught by the Watchtower Society, and he became Michael, an angel again,  why does Luke 24 tell us that when Jesus (not Michael appeared) to the apostles after his resurrection (not re-creation), they thought that he was a spirit being. He corrected them in what they were saying by giving proof that he was really the same man, Jesus, whose dead physical body was resurrected from the tomb. He said, “See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; feel me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones just as you behold that I have” (Luke 24:39).

Nowhere does the Bible mention Michael in relation to his resurrection. If he is Michael, He never told them, Was Jesus confused about his own identity, why did he have the apostles believe that they were witnessing Jesus in his same physical body that was resurrected? If Jesus’ body did not rise from the tomb what is the significance of the empty tomb?

If the disciples did not believe in the resurrection of the same body why did they run to the tomb to investigate the report of the resurrection from the women?

“Our Lord's human body was, however, supernaturally removed from the tomb; … We know nothing about what became of it, except that it did not decay or corrupt... Many Christians have the idea that our Lord's glorious spiritual body is the very same body that was crucified and laid away in Joseph's tomb: This is a great mistake.” (Time is at Hand, p.128)

Why does Paul say in Romans 8:11 the spirit would make your mortal bodies alive? The body is indeed mortal until it is resurrected into immortality.

The resurrection is the most important event for mankind as it proves that Jesus is who He said he is, that He can save us, and transform us. If you do not believe he was raised from death how can you believe He died for your sins.

Rom 10:9 “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved

This is the gospel that can save one from the penalty of their sins. But the Jehovah Witnesses do not believe in the actual resurrection which then negates the whole gospel message, it has no power to save.

In conclusion, the man, Jesus, is not dead, no longer existing as Jehovah Witnesses claim. Nowhere can you find this in Scripture. He rose from the grave in the same physical body of flesh, (now glorified, never to die anymore) on the third day after his death.

What does Jesus teach us Jn.2:19-21 about the resurrection?   “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up again in three days “…” he was speaking of the temple of his body.” Did Jesus lie or misrepresent what he would do. Not only does he say the same body will be raised up but that he will do this. How does one accomplish this fact if they are out of existence? Remember according to the WT “he was out of existence

It is Jesus who is alive after death, not Michael. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator, not Michael.

Let the Bible have the last word for these people who claim to have God’s message

1 Cor.15:11-15: “Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.  And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up-- if in fact the dead do not rise

Stating if in fact the dead do not rise. Paul is directly addressing their last day’s organization filled with deniers of the gospel.

The Jehovah's Witnesses are not saved, nor do they have a message for salvation because they deny the very Gospel that can save them. So how can they give the gospel to another?

If they really want to be saved they need to believe the Bible message.
