Some things to consider on the unborn How we know this is the last of the end times. One of the most apparent ways is the cruelty and violence we see taking place. The age of violence found in Genesis before the flood is now repeating, just as Jesus said it would be in the last days before His coming. It is not just from Islam in the religious sphere but within humanity and its culture involving children. The abortion advocates believe it is a right of freedom, and it is their choice alone. The cliché it’s my body is the theme of their movement. If it’s your body why are you eating for more than one? If it’s “your body” then you can take drugs and drink with a child developing. But the child will be affected also, a body that is developing will be affected different than your own. Why stop one from doing this destructive behavior even when they are not pregnant, after all it is there body? This tiny life called a fetus is composed of hundreds of thousands of cells, that develops a protective hormone to prevent the mother’s body from rejecting it as foreign tissue, because it is foreign tissue! It is not its Mother, it is another! After a baby is born we do everything we can to make them comfortable and save them from harm. Aborting after birth used to be considered is murder, however, we now have 10 states approve the law against born alive. That a mother can decide for another body what they will do, let the child live or die. Life does not begin when a parent chooses life begins. Once a baby is born alive, terminating that child is not a “choice” the mother has, it become murder by the same human standards held in history. They pro - abortion adherents argue life does not begin in the womb, now they are disagreeing that a child born alive! Where is all this is headed is obvious, give it another 20 years and any line that existed will be gone. One who has the character of humanity does not take advantage of the helpless, especially those in the womb, or after. So what happens if one is handicapped, incapacitated outside the womb, are they to be treated like those in the womb? The most helpless and vulnerable creature is a baby in the womb. You show your love for this child before it is born by how you take care of your body. History has shown that the line is always pushed further. If will we determine who is unfit to live before birth what about after? What is living, alive? Where growth is, there is life. The fact is; life is present from the moment of conception in the simplest form. The intrinsic humanity of an unborn child (with human DNA) qualifies them as a person and should have some type of protection under the law from those who want to disregard its humanity and treat it a refuse. A baby that is a human being cannot be classified as a "non-person”. They eat and grow, they feel pain, they hear in the womb. Those who are against pro - life believe a non- human life in the womb becomes human life after its birth, like they do with evolution. Their birth of a child is a greater miracle than conception, the fetus becomes a human being at first breath. You don’t become human after you are removed from the womb. There is no species change. The Greek word to describe a child is breposs (Acts 7:19). When the newborn Hebrew children were then slaughtered by Pharaoh, the same word is used in Luke 1:41 to describe the pre-born child in the womb. God does not see a difference between the pre-born and the born because they are both alive and a human child. Non - humans do not grow in the womb to miraculously become human outside the womb. The purpose of medicine, the profession of doctors is to preserve and save life, not destroy it. The Hippocratic Oath has represented the conscience of decent people for centuries. Doctors save people from death, harm and pain. If they claim a woman has a right with her body and she dies from her abortion then it cannot be considered murder. Yet in many states when a pregnant woman is killed, it is viewed as committing two acts of murder, not just one. The killing of the fetus that she is carrying is included. Both the woman and the fetus have equal human rights, such assaults by the law are considered double-homicides. When the existence of an innocent helpless human being is said to threaten the life of another human being do you purposely end the life of the child? There is the choice of having the child adopted. Pro choice is a clever way of words to disguise what they do. The facts show the abortion operation is for convenience, for social and economic reasons. The majority of abortions are performed on unmarried women. And what of the mother’s life being in danger; the few exceptions are not to be made the rule for the many! 177 AD, Athenagoras, speaking for the church stated, “[W]hen we say that those women who use drugs to bring on abortion commit murder, and will have to give an account to God for the abortion, on what principle should we commit murder? For it does not belong to the same person to regard the very fetus in the womb as a created being, and therefore an object of God's care, and when it has passed into life, to kill it; and not to expose an infant, because those who expose them are chargeable with child-murder, and on the other hand, when it has been reared to destroy it" (A Plea for the Christians 35, Embassy chap. 5) Cruelty is often understood as the willful disregard for human pain and suffering, Webster’s Dictionary states it as a disposition to inflict pain or suffering. Someone that enjoys it being inflicted is inhumane. Brutal Inhuman treatment is to delight and indulge in inflicting suffering on others, which is the definition of cruelty. Throughout mankind’s history (mostly by atheists) many have rationalized the imposing of starvation on the masses, torture and execution of certain ethnic groups they disagree with, along with implementing all kinds of ruthless punishment to individuals through the culture and its government[s].
The activity to remedy the conception of a child by death is destructive to civilization and it lacks the character of compassion, mercy that are indicative of mankind’s humanity regardless whether one believes we were made in Gods image or not.
